The Apple TV is not working
Hello All,
I bought a Apple TV and i connect it sucessfully to my Phone but i can't connect it to my Mac Pro.
I looked to Youtube and i searched around, finally i found that there is an icon need but its not showing in the display " Airplay ....."
So i hope someone help me with it
What operating system are you running? You need Mountain Lion or Mavericks to use the Airplay feature. Additionally, both your Macbook Pro and your Apple TV need to be connected to the same Wifi network. If both these criteria are met, then make sure under System Preferences > Displays > Show mirroring options in the menu bar when available is checked

Why the Apple products does not work with Adobe flash player?
Could be better if the Apple products work with Adobe Flash Player, I know that Steve does not like to work with them, but I think will be necessary soon.

Further comments on what is the case on Android devices is irrelevant. After the update to the Apple TV, it will not work - It puts up a symbol to connect to the Icloud - which I do not have the cable for or know what it means or why -
Message to users is, do not update if it works. This product apparently was not tested very wellIf your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.
If when you choose restore you get a message that the device cannot be found, download the file below

Then hold down the option key while choosing restore and select the downloaded file when prompted. -

I owned an Apple Tv and since I upgrade my internet to higher speed my Apple Tv does not work. Please someone help.
In most scenarios you shouldn't need to forward ports, however if you need to, you may be best contacting your ISP.
As with most router issues, I would recommend that you contact your ISP with details of your problem (assuming that it was your ISP that provided it to you).
There are simply too many manufacturers with different software features and settings and often different names for such features and settings, that the best advice will likely come from those that are knowledgeable about your particular router.

My Apple TV does not work after trying to install the new software update. The main light keeps blinking rapidly and on the screen it shows the itunes icon and a USB cable. What does that mean?

There is power to it , the light is on . I have turned it off and back on but no joy .

i have restarted and returned on both computer and apple tv btwAfter hours of trying to fix- finally found simple solution !
Go to the main computer(s) where you ahve your itunes program. This applies to PC Win7 in my case.
Upper left hand corner under 'File' See drop down menu where it says " Home Sharing'. If on turn it off , then go right back and turn it on- you will have to sign in with Apple ID and password.
Then -this is the solution.
Go to your My computer on your PC - hit button for it to shows all your drives. Click on your main drive - usually 'C". It will show all the stuff on that drive.
Find where your Itunes program is - usually under "programs" Once you find Itunes , right click to get drop down menu- at bottom is "Properties" right click. another small windows comes up - click tab for sharing . If it says not shard - you will see a blue highlighed " Advanced Sharing" click that to folow instructions to enable sharing.
Do that for any program you want to share with Apple TV.
If they are not set to "Share" Apple Tv will not work for Home Sharing.
Once all programs involved with Ituenes etc are set to shared . Then go to Apple TV. back to Home Sharing and everything should show up.
Mine did and it was a simple fix.

What is the model #? Is it a direct HDMI connection? Have you tried a different cable and port? If possible try a different display.

I have done absalutely nothing to my 4g apple ipod touch, and it over heats, won't hold a charge, and the front camera will not work. I bought this brand new in december, and i've barely used it. I've tried restarting it and everything, I honestly think this is out raging because i spend over $200 on this. To have for music and instagram. I use it about an hour a day, but i've only been using it for about 3 months although i've had it since December. Any suggestions that may help me?
Try:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod

I'm trying to create a new ichat Acc because for some reason the old one is not working, so I go to Create an Apple ID and start creating a new apple ID, when I submit the Acc it tells me that my Email address is already verified for another Apple ID and thats the only email address I have... There is no way to consolidate iTunes accounts.
Setting up an iPhone has never required creation of a new Apple ID.
You've apparently purchased content with both Apple ID's. Sign into the device with the correct Apple ID and sync the content.
