The application "Adobe After Effects CC" can't be opened."
Hello,
I am running a new mac pro (10.9.2 osx) and I just installed After Effects CC. I keep getting the error:
The application “Adobe After Effects CC” can’t be opened. -10810
I also installed Illustrator, Lightroom and Photoshop and those seem to be working.
I tried changing permissions on all enclosed After Effects files and folders to read & write. No go...
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
That is a Mac OS error. See this page:

Begin by restarting your computer and starting no applications other than After Effects.

AE version 11.0 does not work with my new MacBook Pro

All of my other programs will open in Creative Cloud but whenever I try After Effects I get that error messaged. I have everything updated and I have tried uninstalling and installing again but I still get the same error message.
Your AE is not up to date. 12.0 will not work on OSX 10.9.3
Mavericks broke some things.
You need the latest update to CC which is 12.2.1.5 (although they're releasing another update later this month).
Although, technically you don't need the latest update as the 12.0.1 update made AE work with Mavericks -

Adobe After Effects CC can't save project on OSX Mavericks
Can not save my projects I have created in Adobe After Effects CC since I have upgraded to Mavericks. Anyone else having this issue?
What you are describing is almost certainly a problem with permissions set for the folder that you're trying to save to.
We've seen the same problem with the preferences folder, so I've been giving this advice a lot:
Set the permissions for the entire /Users/username/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/12.0/ folder to be writable.
If that doesn't work, then uninstall After Effects (being certain to choose the option to remove all preferences) and then reinstall it.
This messup of permissions happens when Mac OS doesn't correctly preserve permissions of various folders when you upgrade an operating system, rather than installing the new operating system fresh. -
The application wont open, even after the newest update was installed. It says "The application "Adobe After Effects CC" can't be opened. error 10810" How do I fix this?!?!
Hi StevenCraigSmith,
Could you please try to uninstall and reinstall After Effects CC and let us know if it helps.

I can't open adobe after effects CS6 11.0.2 in OS Yosemite
I've just updated OS Yosemite and then I can't open adobe after effects cs6.
It says "you can't use this version of the application "Adobe After Effects CS6" with this version of OS X. You have Adobe After Effects CS6 11.0.2"http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=5696&fileID=5715
Go to this website and download the latest After Effects CS6 (11.0.4) -
After upgraded OS X 10.9 Mavericks, the adobe after effects cc can't be open.
The system show me
"You can’t use this version of the application “Adobe After Effects CC” with this version of OS X
You have “Adobe After Effects CC” 12.0"
I've try to download and install the updated software - AfterEffectsTrial-12.0.1-mul-AdobeUpdate.dmg
but the system show me
"Update Failed
Updates could not be applied
Please contact your Administrator if you wish to apply updates on your machine. Updates have been suppressed by the Administrator.
If the problem persist, contact customer support for further assistance."
Please help me!!> I've try to download and install the updated software - AfterEffectsTrial-12.0.1-mul-AdobeUpdate.dmg
Don't do that. The After Effects CC (12.0.1) patch was only a temporary solution before After Effects CC (12.1) was released:

"Update Failed

That is telling you that whoever deployed your Adobe software as part of an enterprise software license agreement chose to disable updates. You'll need to talk with your IT people who set up and deployed your Adobe software to reverse this decision.
