The Application bar: where is the Designer dropdown workspace in CC?
Running Dreamweavercc 13.2 on PC how do i get the application to show up ? i have looked everywhere ?
Looks like a dual monitor setup and you have the Application Frame for DW on the right hand monitor.
It also appears you are NOT missing the menu I specifically asked about?
If you are looking for more tools in your toolbar, you may need to open the relevant window from the Window menu, then click and drag the named tab of the window up to the top of your Application Frame until it highlights. When you release, the window will stick to whichever part of the Application Fram you designate.
You can also right click in the toolbar below the Title: Chats text field to bring up the toolbar options.
My guess is you want the Insert menu located at Window > Insert. Once the window is open, you can turn it into a tool bar by following the steps above.

The Application Bar was intentionally removed. A majority of users told us they'd rather have the extra vertical space for their images than the Application Bar.
All of the commands are available elsewhere or can be access more easily with keyboard shortcuts:
Mini-bridge is accessible from the bottom panel (now a part of the default UI).
Cmd + Opt + o (Mac) Ctrl + Alt + o (Windows) to launch Bridge.
Show Guides: Cmd + ; (Mac) Ctrl + ; (Win)
Show Grids: Cmd + ' (Mac) Ctrl + ' (Win)
Show Rulers: Cmd + r (Mac) Ctrl + r (Win)
Zoom level can be controlled via keyboard shortcuts or UI found at the bottom of the document window.
You can access the arrange options under the Window>Arrange> menu
Screen mode has been added back to the bottom of the tool bar.
CS Live has been discontinued. -

JyothiShut down JDeveloper and erase <Oracle Middleware>\jdeveloper\system\system11.1.1.0.31.51.88\o.ide\windowinglayout.xml and start JDev again.
If that doesn't help...
Shut down JDeveloper and erase folder <Oracle Middleware>\jdeveloper\system\system11.1.1.0.31.51.88\ and start JDev again.
Note: you will loose all your settings in JDev!!!

How to delete the design bar in toplevel navigation
Hello,
I tried to delete (or make invisible) the design bar of the toplevel navigation. In the theme editor I could only make it transparent and I tried also some changes in the jsp- and js-file, but nothing worked.
What I want is, that the toplevelnavigation starts there, where at the moment start the design bar. At the moment I have a white hole at this position
I hope somebody can help me with this problem.

The only thing I can change in the theme editor for the design bar is the background color. So, I suppose, it's not a graphic.
Or is there another possibility to change the design bar?

You may try the list (or go straight to 6) if you have updated to Yosemite without reinstalling).
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save curent artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Where is the Components Panel and the Design Mode button in FlashBuilder 4.7 Premium?
I'm new to FlashBuilder. I've been using many years just Flash and now I'm switching to FlashBuilder. I've seen some tutorials, but the Interface in my copy of the program do not match the one in the tutorials. I could't find the componets Panel and the Design Mode button. Any ideea why?
My Laptop runs on Windows 7. FlashBuilder 4.7 Premium is via Creative Cloud:

Whe you click on Views: Window->Show Views->Other... an interactive dialog appears with the tree of views available. Above there is a textField where you can enter a filter. As you type the text, the tree updates accordingly, after each letter.
I've searched for the Components panel ... surprise!!!

As you notice the list of views is empty even before I finish the spelling of the word "Component".

I belive this features are not important for advanced users... but I'm just learning this. I'm used to work in Flash. I write ActionScript, but I'm not familliar with the objects availlable in Flex, so the Component Panel and Design Mode is quite handy on this stage.
Plus, there is a real concern about the future of this technology, now beeing available HTML5. So, there is a question of oportunity investing time in learning things no longer supported. The most frustrating thing is not having an answer to this question. Even a "No" is better than "We don't know yet" <- the answer I received from online support. -

Academac Software SolutionsCS6 applications are supported however I do not recommend that you install Yosemite on an existing system as an in place upgrade.
You should deactivate the software, back up all of your data, and then proceed to do a clean install of the operating system.
After that you can install your applications and restore your data. -
Problem with icons in the application bar (Photoshop CS4)
My computer's OS is WinXP Pro SP3.
I just now noticed a problem with all icons in the application bar in PS CS4 (v. 11.0.1).
When I bring mouse over icons (except for zoom level icon), all icons turn into blank (white) boxes.
For "Arrange Documents" bar, when I click on its blank icon, the top two columns are empty but show the the rest of three columns.
Please advise me how to fix this problem. I hope to avoid uninstalling -reinstallinlg. Thanks.ATI no longer supports your card so I don't think you will see any updated drivers from them to correct your problem. You might want to look into investing in a newer card.

Can't get rid of the blue "downloading the latest applications" bar that seems to be just hanging and won't go away. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but the bar is still there after 2 days. I updated something (can't remember what!) on I.E., and it had the same blue bar, but it had a box I could x out of so it went away on I.E. I don't know why the blue bar is there on Firefox, as I did the update while on I.E.

If that is correct, updating your system software may help the Safari toolbar issue.
Click Software Update from your Apple menu OR open System Preferences > Software Update > Check Now
Restart your Mac after the updates are installed then try Safari.
If your software is actually up to date, from the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab.
If you have any extensions installed, turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If the address bar reappears, uninstall one extension at a time, quit and reluanch Safari to test until you find the one that's blocking the address bar. -

In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.

I cannot find out where to organize my bookmarks in any of the bookmark dropdowns. I can only do it one by one. Is there a way to do mass organization?
In previous versions you could select organize bookmarks. In this version it is gone. I would imagine that since FF now can sync across multiple devices, the ability to organize from any of those becomes more important. Selecting one bookmark at a time to delete or move is too tedious for people with hundreds or thousands of bookmarks.The way bookmarks are managed has not changed. You now access to the Library window by selecting Bookmarks > Show all bookmarks from the Firefox menu.
