"The application or DLL  C:/WINDOWS/System32/mssip32.dll....

I got this message after I had updated my itunes. Help please

+" 'mssip32.dll' is not and executable file and no registration helper is registered for this file type "+
Okay. somewhat experimental advice here, but I think it might be worth swapping your mssip32.dll for a new copy.
First, head into C:\Windows\System32\, find your current mssip32.dll, and rename it mssip32.dllOLD
Download a fresh copy of missip32.dll from here:
DLLDump.com: mssip32.dll Version: 5.131.2600.0
Move the new mssip32.dll into the system32 folder. (Where the old one lived.)
Now restart the PC and try another iTunes launch. Do you still get the Bad Image error (with a fresh mssip32.dll in place), or is it launching properly now?

  • When I click on my Firefox desktop shortcut, this message appears "The application or DLL C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\MOZCRT19.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your instillation diskette". I cannot enter the program.

I believe that my question gave all the details. I am wireless in my home and the other computers connected to this wireless have no problem getting into Firefox. What is MOZCRT19?

    clementem,
This means there is a problem with the files you need to run Firefox.
    Try a clean reinstall:
    1. Download the Firefox installer from [http://mozilla.com Mozilla.com] and save it to your desktop or other location.
    2. Make sure that Firefox is closed completely
    3. Delete the Firefox installation directory (On Windows, this is typically the C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox folder that contains "firefox.exe" and other Firefox program files and folders).
    4. Reinstall Firefox by running the installer you downloaded previously.
Your personal settings, including bookmarks and history, will not be lost.

  • How to get the print logs to appear in the application logs folder of windows server 2008 r2

    Dear All,
I am a SIEM professional at an IT firm. i am facing a problem. My SIEM solution has an agent for windows. this agent reads only logs from the application, security and system folder of windows event viewer. In server 2008 r2 the printer logs are clustered
in and application and services/microsoft/windows/print services folder. The requirement of my management is that the siem solution should also be able to montior compliance of print policies. that can only be done once the the print logs are viewable in any
of the three event vieweer folders i.e application, system.security. how can i configure windows to make its print logs visible in any of these three folders ?

  • Starting the application server PE on windows XP

    Introduction
I installed JStudio Enterprise 8 with SJS AppServer 8.1
Later uninstalled JStudio Enterprise 8 but the server directory ie C:\Program Files\Sun\jstudio_ent8\Appserv8.1UR2\ remained intact.
The server icon had been removed from the windows startup menu but the server could still be started via the command line
Later installed JStudio Enterprise 8.1 with SJS AppServer 8.2
Installation directories are C:\Program Files\Sun\jstudio_ent81 and C:\Sun\AppServer respectively
After installation I opend a project created using JStudion Enterprise 8 and on trying to run the project I recieved the error below:
    [#|2007-02-24T14:30:10.860-0500|SEVERE|sun-appserver-pe8.2|javax.enterprise.system.core|_ThreadID=10;|
Service [email protected] cannot be started! : com.sun.appserv.server.ServerLifecycleException:
Cannot bind to URL [rmi://localhost:8686/management/rmi-jmx-connector]: javax.naming.CommunicationException [Root exception is java.rmi.ConnectIOException: error during JRMP connection establishment; nested exception is: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out]|#]
Please note that the program ( right from the JStudio Ent 8) often complained that spaces had been detected in the class path.
However everything still went on smoothly.
    Actions Carried Out
I used asadmin change-master-password --savemasterpassword=true to change password
I used netstat -a to confirm that the port 8080 and other ports as contained in domain.xml were not already in use by the OS
I uninstalled JStudio Ent 8.1 and JDK 5 with JRE, deleted the application files (eg .jstudio folder, .asadmintruststore file etc) I found in user directory
D:\Documents and Settings\user and reinstalled the above mentioned software. Subsequently I tried running a skeletal Enterprise Application but recieved same error.
I used asadmin verify-domain-xml and got the following result:
    25-Feb-2007 09:52:30 com.sun.enterprise.config.serverbeans.validation.DomainXMLVerifier invokeConfigValidator
SEVERE /domain[1]/configs[1]: Assertion failed: There is a config element named "default-config"
Despite the above actions and continous trials the server would not start under the JStudioIDE
The server however starts under the command line with the message:
Domain domain1 is ready to receive client requests. Additional services ae being started in background.
However the server would not serve web pages when requested via Internet Explorer. When one eventually tries to stop the server the following message is displayed:
    The domain (domain1) isn't running
CLI157 Could not stop domain domain1
Also, I haven't been able to use the admin console for the server and previously for Macromedia ColdFusion Mx v 6.1 Developer

I take it that you would like to run JSE8.1 with AS8.2. Is that right? Or would you like to run both JSE8 and JSE8.1 simultaneously?
One thing to check for the userdir; the userdir should be different for different ide installs. By default of course this should be the case, but one possibility here is that the userdir could be corrupted.
Can you please try with a fresh userdir and see if things work?
    Ref: http://blogs.sun.com/karthikr/entry/jse_directories
Also, can you check the server log files? From within the ide, right-click on the server in runtime tab and select 'view server log'. Or cd to <appserver_dir>/domains/domain1/logs directory and check the server.log to see if there are any error messages that may be of help in diagnosing the problem.

  • Adobe Illustrator appears as "installed and updated" on Creative Cloud but I cannot find the Application on my Computer (Windows)

Creative Cloud is installed and working on my computer, nevertheless the Application "Adobe Illustrator" appears as "Installed and Updated" but it is physically NOT in my computer.
I cannot find the Application in my computer, I installed Photoshop and other Apps, they are all to find in my PC, except Illustrator.
I tried to uninstall Creative Cloud and all the Apps that I had, I re-installed creative cloud but still it showed "Adobe Illustrator" as "installed and updated", even if I have no Adobe illustrator folder on my Computer, it really does not exist in my computer.
What is wrong with the Application?

I have Windows server 2012 R2.   I ran our 64 bits software, I got _crtCreateSymbolicLinkW error.   After I installed Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4,  I still got the same error.   What

    Hi Barry,
    Thanks for the reply.
I was wondering which forum I should ask my question?   I confused.
We used Visual Studio 2013 professional version to make our software and the OS target is Windows server 2012 R2.   I added this question in MSDN forum and Visual Studio forum.  You said both are wrong forums to ask.  I have no idea which
forum is the right forum I should ask my question?
    The
Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 (64 bits)  does support Windows server 2012 R2.   I definitely downloaded the right version to install in my target OS-Windows server 2012 R2

  • Am getting this message when I attempt to open Firefox: "The application or DLL F:\Program Files\ Mozilla Firefox\nss3.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."

I had responded favorably to the upgrade message from Firefox but after the download I kept getting a Firefox message that I had to close all other instances of Firefox running before the installation process could complete. There were no other open Firefox programs! I re-booted and tried to open Firefox, and the Windows alert already cited started, and Firefox will not open.
Checking via Windows Explorer it appears that I still have version 3.6.

I resolved the problem. I went to CNet and re-downloaded the upgrade. It proceeded as intended and the upgrade is installed and running with no loss of plug-ins, bookmarks, etc.

Thanks alot for the help guys...
question: is there a way to lock this option up? Because it happens often (maybe like twice a month) when I am multi'tasking that I accidently drag out a folder... so is there a way to lock that up?
Also I guess this is also a similar question, what about the DOCK.. is there a way I can lock it? And if i want to drag something out the DOCK i can bypass an alert msg?

I keep getting this message when I click on file explorer, my computer or dropbox. I therefore cannot open any files.
I have used "Windows Update" to bring my computer uptodate.
This site mentioned the updates would contain the service pack to resolve the problem.
    What should I do now?

This problem can have many different causes, so the steps to solve can vary / be complex.
Firstly, have you installed any non-Microsoft programs recently?
If so, this could be the cause of the errors, try to uninstall the programs.
Some other discussions (rather complex), which suggest that Explorer-extensions can be the cause of this:
