The apps on one of my pages have frozen how can I 'unfreeze'them?

The apps on one of my pages have frozen and four of them have moved to the next page and also frozen how do I 'un freeze' them?

I just experienced the same sort of a "frozen page" on my iPad last night. In my case it was the second of five pages of apps, not a full page, containing three folders, and the symptoms were as follows:
Tapping on an icon (any on the the page, including folders .. which would not open .. but not including those in the tray at the bottom of the page, which still did work) resulted in nothing happening at all
Pressing and holding a 'frozen' icon likewise resulted in nothing at all. They could not be moved.
All other icons on all other pages continued to work normally
Pressing and holding icons on other pages would result in the normal "jiggling" display, but this did not affect the frozen ones on Page 2. They did not jiggle, no "X" appeared on them.
I have no idea why this would have happened, but it would appear that somewhere in the way I was doing things with the apps I had open at the time got something latched in some mysterious way. In any case, I fixed this by running a Reset (press & hold both Home and Sleep/Wake until the apple logo appears on the blank screen, etc.) which did return to normal operations. I suspect that a normal shutdown and restart might have fixed the issue also, but it was late and I didn't feel like playing around too much.
