If it still shows the icon, Settings, then General, (sixth one down), then international, (third one up from the bottom), then, at the top, has where you can select what language, I think English is at the top of the list. I hope I can help!

The green arrows for page forward or back at the top left under File and Edit disappeared after I downloaded the new Firefox toolbar (for 3.6) and were replaced by Most Visited, Getting Started and Latest headlines Icons, which I have little use for. How do I get the Original Toolbar back?

My old iphone was replaced today, due to faults. Now it will not allow me to use my credit card account for the appstore and itunes?
Please don't tell me to retry, or re check my information because it is all correct, it basically says u cannot use thi account due to it being connected to another device... which is my old fault iphone, at the apple store.I have never before heard of cards being locked to a single device... but your case has shown me that it happens.
If I am getting it right you try to log in to your account and it asks for billing information, and when you enter your card details it tells you that the card cannot be used. I downloaded the new update on my iphone 4 and now its stuck on a screen where it shows a usb pointing up towards the itunes symbol, and i have tried syncing my phone to itunes to finish it but itunes wont detect my phone. What do i do? Please help

I've tried holding the power button and home button simultaneously while connecting my phone to itunes but it still doesn't recognize my phone. I have uninstalled every component of itunes and run the device manager and I've really done all I think I can do. Will I have to take my phone to the apple store or are there any other solutions?
Mine gave me an error in itunes side that it didnt recognize the phone. But when I unplugged and re plugged it it was fine. Or is yours on the screen with the little plug? You might have to go to Apple. I have that happen to a friend on the 7 upgrade. She needed a new phone. oy!

It went something like this:
You should be able to recover the media with the tips in this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into an authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup.
The older .itl file is useful however as iTunes should see this as the "home" library for your device which will allow you to preserve the application settings. (.itl file? Mac? I assume the library has migrated from PC to Mac at some point). Any files in the Previous iTunes Libraries folder or did you kill those as well? The most recent of these would be the best place to start.
And no, the .itl file is not editable by mortals...
Once you've restored the media from backups or recovered whatever else you useful can from the device, the scripts MusicFolder Files Not Added and Super Remove Dead Tracks should help get the library up to speed with the contents of the media folder.

That .itl file actually is the library -- at least the critical part of it although the library is actually many files and folders.
Try starting iTunes and immediately hold down the option key. When it asks, guide it to the .itl file.
It's really hard to say without being able to poke around your computer. Upgrading should not delete the old library, but still it happens to the very, very few which is why we make backups before updating. If the old library file is gone then so are your playlists. After setting up my new IPAD2 I went into the APPStore and noticed there was an already purchased section, which showed all my previous purchases I had made and installed on my IPAD I. IT gave me the option to "install" them onto my IPAD2 and there was not visual "COST" associated with it and it never prompted me for a charge althought I had to enter my account password each time. Additionally I didn't get any emails like you usually do when buying an app. A few days later, BAM! 50 charges or so totalling upwards to 200 bucks with no description other than ITUNES on my bank account so I can't even tell which apps they were for. Is part of the public BETA cloud testing?! I hope to god not, it caused my bank account to go negative and now I have many NSF charges. I can NOT affort this. I know apple has a disclaimer "No refunds" under any circumstance. But as far as I"m concerned. THIS IS THEFT!

Now on both the IPAD and IPAD2 I can not got to view my purchase History, it says it can not connect to the ITUNES store, but yet I can still d/l apps and can view my account etc etc etc.

I did not authorize 2 in app purchases and because my credit card is at its limit, and i dont know how to reverse the in app purchases, i cannot update any app or do just about anything in the appstore or itunes store. I dont care if i owe apple's itunes appstore a few dollars over 2 in app purchases i never meant to download in fact the whole app itself i wanted to delete...but out of the hundreds (maybe lower thousands) fof dollars in music and apps and whatever else, that i rightfully purchased over the passed couple of years....should *NOT* have the upgrades and/or previous purchased songs withheld from me over $3 in accidently purchased add ons through an existing app i deleted an disliked anyway

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

after attempting many worng passwords my ipad atlast ask me to connect to the itunes and there is't any other option it is showing on it , and don't have the backup of my ipad on my pc so search the net and got the answer to restore it ......
i have lost my password and been trying to restore but don't understand way it never get completed(my ipad3 gets on between the process and itunes reminds me that the device is passcode protected so it can't be connected and then the download also stops) some times at 500mb and even at 700mb

I just had problems with a game called call of duty 4, modern warfare. I decided that if I deleted it, I could reinstall it, I could get it back to normal. After I deleted it,I went to to the appstore and went to purchases and accidentaly deleted it. please help me!
You have not deleted it from the purchases list, it is just hidden. To unhide an app, open the Mac App Store app, click the Account link in the Quick Links to the right of the pane and go to the iTunes in the Cloud section where you can manage hidden apps.

After uploading to the cloud, i lost access to some of my songs. The library still shows the information and there is a cloud download icon but the font color would seem to indicate it has been deactivated (i.e. nothing happens when I click on it).
Problem closed (although not resolved). After working with Apple support, no resolution was found. I asked for a refund of the iTunes match purchase price, which was granted. Interestingly the support tech, who was very nice if not particularly helpful from a technical point of view, spun the "resolution" of refunding my iTunes match purchase price as a positive one, here is a quote from the final email
"I'm glad to hear that you're not having issues with the songs you've purchased. Nothing makes Apple happier than to hear that our customers concerns have been rectified."
It is notable that I never had an issue downloading music directly purchased thru the iTunes store, the only issue that existed was downloading songs that I ripped from my CD collection and "matched".
I'm happy that I received my money back, however I wish that the iTunes Match service worked for me (I was looking forward to this service). I'm most upset at the time I wasted trying to fix this problem.
I'll now download music the old fashioned way: syncing with iTunes directly.
