The art for my podcast isn't showing up in desktop iTunes.

The art for my podcast shows up in the iOS app. It shows up on the iTunes website. It just doesn't show up on the iTunes desktop app's store page, on either MacOS or Windows.
What gives?

The image which appears in the Store page (from which iOS devices also work) is referenced in the feed: but the image which appear when you subscribe on a computer and play an episode is no - it has to be actually embedded in the media file. Please see this page for details:

This is coming out of Squarespace, and they are telling me that everything is OK with the feed, so I don't know why it just won't work. Maybe run it through feedburner and try and submit that?

So it didn't show up, and i've resubmitted the feed. I've tried to get an answer from Apple but they keep pushing me back to the FAQ. Is this the correct tag for the cover art image?

My master cover art for "The Circus Life Podcast" isn't showing up in the store, only the podcast library. Can anyone help?

I just uploaded my new podcast, "The Circus Life Podcast" to iTunes via Libsyn. The master artwork for the show itself is not showing up in the store, only the library in the podcast app once you have subscribed. Me and my partner can't for the life of us figure out what to do. The RSS feed was submitted and approved over a week ago and still the artwork isn't show. Can anyone help?

Below are specs from Apple for artwork. They don't mention the 500kb limit - but it seems at least for .jpg images - any we have seen issues with that meet all the other requirement are over 500 kb - and lowering the file size was able to get them working.
But per CMYK - that definitely will not work on the iTunes store. Change your artwork to RGB - get the file size down below 500kb - and reupload to libsyn - with a new file name and your artwork should show up in 1 to 5 days.

This tag specifies the artwork for your podcast. Put the URL to the image in the href attribute. iTunes prefers square .jpg images that are at least 1400x1400 pixels, which is different from what is specified for the standard RSS image tag. In order for a podcast to be eligible for an iTunes Store feature, the accompanying image must be at least 1400x1400 pixels.
iTunes supports images in JPEG and PNG formats with an RGB color space (CMYK is not supported). The URL must end in ".jpg" or ".png". If the <itunes:image> tag is not present, iTunes will use the contents of the RSS image tag.
If you change your podcast’s image, also change the file’s name. iTunes may not change the image if it checks your feed and the image URL is the same. The server hosting your cover art image must allow HTTP head requests for iTS to be able to automatically update your cover art.
Spend some time developing an attractive, original image that represents your podcast well. Potential subscribers will see it on your podcast’s page and a much smaller version of the image in search results and feature placements. Make sure your design is effective in both sizes.
The <itunes:image> tag is also supported at the episode level. For best results, we recommend using the <itunes:image> tag at the item level as well as embedding the same art within the media file’s metadata. To embed art within an individual episode’s metadata using iTunes, select the episode and choose Get Info from the File menu. Click the Artwork tab. Then click Add, navigate to and select the image file, and click Choose.

Have you tried re-building the artwork?
Try unchecking "display album artwork" in the music preferences section when your iPod is connected and click "apply". Then sync your iPod.
Then check "display album artwork" in the music preferences section when your iPod is connected and click "apply". Then sync your iPod again.
This should resync the album artwork to the iPod.
If this does not work, you might need to restore the iPod and reload the songs in order to correct this error.

How do you update the URL for a Podcast?

The subject line pretty much says it all. I must be blind, but I cannot find anywhere to update the URL for a Podcast in iTunes 7.0.2.
G4 933 (Quicksilver) Mac OS X (10.4.4)

I subscribed to a Podcast that used a service (Webpasties) to host the weekly show. They recently moved off of that service, so I receive no new shows under that subscription. (In fact, the header now says "subscription expired".)
I can find no way to update this subscription with the new URL so it will recognize and download the new episodes.
Right now I subscribed separately to the new Podcast, but I would like to unify them -- I do not throw away any episodes, so it's nice to have them all under one subscription rather than spread across two.

Have you reset or restarted your iPhone since the update?
Hold down the home button and the power button until you see an Apple logo
Release both buttons and the iPhone will restart.

The image for my podcast is displaying in Itunes preview pages, but does not display when I subscribe

Looking at the Store page, the image appears there perfectly well. On subscribing there is no image associated with the episodes because you haven't embedded an image in the files - please see this page for clarification:

Have you tried restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.

Can't update the info for my music (e.g., artist names, ratings) on iTunes anymore.

I used to be able to update the info for my music (e.g., artist names, ratings) via iTunes, but it doesn't work anymore. In the past I'd change it in the music tab underneath my phone's tab. Using one band as an example, it's all spelled exactly the same on my computer in both music tabs (under my phone and on my computer), but it has various spellings still on my phone. Also, when I rate a song on my phone, it no longer shows when I plug into iTunes. I rate songs 1 star if I want to delete them later but it just doesn't work anymore. How can I fix this? However, I don't understand why you want to keep songs with incorrect info and then correct them on the phone every time you add them to the phone. Most people would want to do it one time.

I'm happy you figured it out and just try to keep in mind that not everyone you talk to at support will give the same advice or have the same knowledge. Just like those who contribute to these forums. Sometimes Google is your best friend.
I agree that Apple could probably make it easier, but as of yet prefer security over freedom. (sound famaliar?)

HT1212 I have followed the instructions for "if you have never synced your decice with itunes" and my computer is telling me the device has been restored, however I still don't know how to unlock my phone??

Put the iPhone into Recovery Mode and then try the Restore again:
