The audio on/off led light stopped working. what can i do to restore it's functionality?

The led light on the on/off sound button suddenly stopped appearing. nothing new was installed as I can recall. How can I correct this?

Download & Save the latest Audio driver.Go into Control Panel,Programs & Features- Uninstall IDT software.Restart the laptop..Enter BIOS setup by tapping/holding the F10 key immediately after powering on the laptop.Once into BIOS reset to default settings, Save & Exit. I have an iPod shuffle 4th generation and an iPod Nano 5th generation . The Nano wheel appears to have stopped working - I can't get it to play or anything. I've done the reset and it worked the first time, but now the only way I can get it to play anything is to shake it and go with the shuffle choices - I can't change volume, song, pause or turn it off.
So, I decided to start using the Shuffle which I was given as a present last year. I've plugged it into my laptop (running windows 8 and newest version of iTunes). It appears in iTunes on the left hand side, but when I click to sync (whether I tick sync all or choose artists) it says synched but has no music. It seems to not be linked to the music library - when I tick synch all songs, next to the "sync music" it says 0 songs?
Any help to fix either would be really appreciated - I'm without any music at the moment and I'm going away this weekend!

Press the Power button for about 10 seconds to shutdown the computer. Wait a couple of minutes then restart. If it restarts OK, then immediately repair the hard drive:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.

You need to remove third party plugin and try launching. You should find it in plugins folder either here C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\Plug-Ins or C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\Locales\en_US\Plug-Ins
Else try skipping the loading of thirdparty plugins like below:
   1. Close Elements.
   2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl/cmd + shift as you click Editor/Edit.
   3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message to skip loading of 3rd party plugins..Click yes and check.

My mic has stopped working, what can i do?

I don't know if it loose or broken from being dropped but i suddenly stopped working, I can't hear anyone from incoming or outcoming calls and they can't hear me, when i ring someone i can't even hear the dial tone or it calling, but when i put my headset in and mess about with it and push against it, it started to work slightly but not much, but i can hear my music through the headset.
what can it be and what can i do???

i would try to restore the device as new then if that doesnt work apple can replace it for nothing if under the warranty if not it is 149$

Led lights stop working

Since the update my led lights that notify me of a message has stop working after the update is there a fix.

Here is something that seems to get overlooked a bit, the notification light seems to be programmed to only blink when device is in sleep mode. If the device is set to stay awake when on power supply, try sending yourself a message and then place device to sleep with power button and see if the light functions as designed. It seems that a feature changed to conserve battery life is being viewed as a bug or error when it may not be.

If your having an issue where your iPhone 5 won't turn on at all, I would take a look at the Power/Battery troubleshooting in the following article:

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 15 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.

Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.

It starts with troubleshooting 3rd party plug ins, then moves on to account troubleshooting if needed.
Open iTunes in Safe Mode to isolate any inference with plug-ins or scripts not manufactured by Apple.
Hold down the Shift and Control keys while opening iTunes. If performed correctly, you should see a dialog that says "iTunes is running in safe mode" before iTunes finishes starting up.
After clicking Continue, determine whether the issue you were experiencing persists in Safe Mode.

Over the past few months firefox has been crashing unexpectedly but just today it crashed and will not reopen even after shutting down and restarting my laptop. The message that appears when I start my laptop and again when I try to open firefox is "rnpag has stopped working" this is then followed by the message "firefox has stopped working" when I request a solution to the problem nothing happens.

You don't have "Photoshop" proper. You have a cheapo emasculated version called Photoshop Elements. That is NOT Photoshop.

Try restarting PC and run itunes again!
If error again than perform clean instal of itunes (uninstal first and than instal again)!

For reasons that I can not explain, on trying to turn it on this morning it started to work. said conect to power, so its charging now. hopefuly this is a good sign that it can be fixed by resetting on the computer.
