1. Try quitting the Messaging app
Double tap the Home button, hold the app icon until it wiggles, tap the red dot, tap the Home button twice
Relaunch
2. Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears

I, am also having issues with "unfortunately messaging has stopped", AND, NOT receiving text messages. I also have 2 other Droid Ultra's on my account doing the same thing. This is totally unacceptable!!! I am not paying $600 for a piece of crap phone that does not work. I had my phone recently replaced because Verizon thought that was the problem. I can't even get the message screen to stay up long enough to type a message, if it opens at all!
Also I am getting tired of NOT receiving messages sent to me! When I do get them, the icon tells me I have a message with a number usually no more than a designation of 2 but reverts back to a 1, and, when I open the message, read it, and close out of it, if it does not close out on its own because of stopped messaging, the number on the message icon does not clear out. I have to turn off the phone and restart it to clear it. This is not acceptable and I would expect better from Verizon, not the run around!! If I had to send an urgent message and get a reply, do to the fact I am disabled, and this is my only way to communicate, that this is extremely unacceptable!!!!
I expect this to be resolved yesterday, not when you all get around to it, OR, issue me a Samsung!!! I am sure all of the others would agree!!!

I am using the messaging app that was preloaded with the phone, the green face icon. I do not have an "Android Keyboard" app, but I have cleared the cache on the "Messaging" app, several times. I have also gone to the Verizon store where an associate did a soft reboot, telling me that would work. A very short time later, the error message started appearing again--so this did not work either.
The error message comes very sporadically. Sometimes several in a few minutes, other times not for hours. -
Hi. Unfortunately my ethernet card was not working anymore. This is the message "This computer does not appear to have any PCI Ethernet card. How can I fix it?

My Iphone5 updated today with new iOS 6.1 and while doing that it has sync my phone number with my wife number in the same icloud due to which we receive each others SMS when we message each other. Anyone have idea how can I fix this issue in settings etc

I upgraded my iphone to 5.0.1 and ever since, it has decided to delete old text messages. Only with one contact though, not everybody. So for every new text message I send this person, an old one gets removed. Why? I don't want this to happen.
Connect the phone directly to the computer, not a hub.
Disconnect all other USB devices except keyboard and mouse.
Disable your firewall
Disable your antivirus
In iTunes if it recognizes the phone click "Restore"
If it doesn't recognize the phone:
Disconnect the phone from the phone end, leave the USB cable plugged into the computer
Hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons until the screen turns black, excactly 10 seconds, then release the SLEEP but continue holding the HOME (If an Apple logo appears you have held SLEEP too long; do it over)
While holding HOME connect the cable to the phone
As soon as iTunes recognizes the phone release the HOME button and it should restore.
If neither procedure works note the exact error message and post it. -
I'm trying to purchase extra content on some of my apps and it says "contact iTunes support to complete this transaction." how can I fix this? My credit card is valid and I've made extra content purchases before and it's worked.

You need to contact the developer/manufacturer directly to determine if their product is compatible w/Yosemite. It is not listed on their system requirement website:

I am new to FCP. I have a canon 60d camera and purchased fcpX. I was recommended to download mgep streamline and convert my files to prores422. I do not have an option for prores 422 in my download. How can I fix the problem.Please help. There was another suggestion by vimeo.com to use applexdcam ex 1080p30. I do not have that either in my mpeg download.

it has been 24 hours and Siri still doesn't want to take any commands anyone else have this problem too? and how can I fix it? she just keeps saying there is something wrong and to try again later. I didn't buy this phone to be jipped on any features.
Mine wasnt working either but i saw in another thread that you should try Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. Ignore the warnings, all your settings have to be changed back but you dont lose any media or data, you just have to put your background back and location settings. It fixed Siri for me but dictation still doesnt work. Hopefully it works for you :-]

I signed up for Match but when I added new albums, they failed to appear. Ultimately I got a message to Sign Out and then Sign In to the Apple Store tab under iTunes. I then added the computer back to Match. It went through the process and uploaded the new albums (or matched them) but it also reversed hours of work I had done it editing my library and cleaning up track lists and song titles.
HOW CAN I edit/maintain my library without Match wiping every change out?????
And when will the Cover Art issue be solved???Match was off. I made all of the changes and then went through the "Turn on iTunes Match" option. I now have deleted some tracks, edited the Metadata in CDDA, and then added it back. This worked fine, but it is not a good solution.
I just tried making some edits and use the "Update iTunes Match" and that seemed to work. It looks like the real answer is that Match must be up and operational, then you can make changes and run the Update to incorporate the changes. However, if Match has a problem then Signing Out and back in to your store account and going through the process of Turning On Match (were you get the questions, "Add this Computer to Match" will overwrite any changes.
Since this relies on the stability of iTunes, I won't be making a lot of changes between updates. -
Using Firefox 5.0 with Windows 7 on a laptop, whenever I click the 'Group Tabs' icon to the right of my tabs, the search function immediately comes up over my grouped tabs, preventing me from using any of them. When the search function comes up, the screen goes semi-dark and the search bar appears - any text I type at this time is entered into the search bar (the search function works normally). If I click any section of the screen at this time the search function disappears and the screen regains color - but only for a fraction of a second, and then the search function comes up again, along with the darkened screen. Hitting 'escape' or 'backspace' produces the same effect. Is there any way to disable this unceasing search function?

Force a file or folder to download
Using the new direct link above, you can further modify the URL to force the browser to download the file, rather than handle it natively. To force a file download, append a direct link with ?dl=1. For example:

Public folder links
Accounts created before July 31st, 2012 are pre-populated with a Public folder. All the functionality of Public folders (and more) is available from anywhere in your Dropbox by creating a Dropbox link.
The primary difference between Dropbox links and Public links are that unmodified Public links will render in your browser by default rather than open in a preview window on the Dropbox website. If you would rather force the Public link to directly download rather than render in the browser, add ?dl=1 to the end of the URL, as described above. -
I have 2 desktops and a laptops connected by Firefox sync which I set up at some time during the beta. I have several folders, dividers, and bookmarks on the toolbar which I try to keep organized based on their use (web design, hardware/tech support sites, personal, etc) but when I arrange them on one computer it screws them up on the others. I would like for it either to keep them in the same order on all machines, or at least have to arrange them on each machine separately without them affecting the other so they stay where I put them. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this?
This is what I'd suggest get your machines matched. Sync your machines so all data is on both. Then pick one to get all of your organizing as you want it. (or do this before you even setup sync) Then, when you do your initial sync from that organized machine, select: replace all other devices with this computers data. (you can also do that as Manage Account > reset sync.
After that, changes in order on one machine should be reflected on the other. Remember though Sync '''merges ''' the data from your machines. If you work on two machines side by side and make order changes on both without syncing either, once you do sync, Sync will have to again figure out how to merge the incongruities, which may not be what you expect.. Be careful, if order is important to you.
