The Backup Process was killed by system when I Backup Oracle RAC

HI all：
I use RMAN and MML to backup my Oracle Rac. When it backup 60GB (it total 300GB),the oracle backup process was killed by the system.
the follow is the system log from syslog.log file:
Jan 5 10:54:57 hpux01 vmunix: Pid 24142 was killed due to failure in writing the signal context - possible stack overflow.

This was a bug in 10.2.0.3. It is fixed in 10.2.0.5. See MOS note 748607.1

    Restart the server as I found in some pages and even a thread here (https://forums.oracle.com/thread/1557156) is not the better solution, the real issue still unknown. I need to find a solution without restarting the server machine.

    That error means you don't have rights to the Mailbox your trying to access. In Exchange by default the only user that has access to mailbox is the owner of the Mailbox, Exchange Administration rights does not grant you access to another users mailbox. You
    need to either specifically grant rights to each mailbox using Add-MailboxPermissions or use EWS impersonation where you can impersonate the owner of the Mailbox see

    Hi,
    Are you facing the same problem when starting with a new subscriber database?
    From the error message suggested that replication metadata may be corrupt. I suggest you drop and re-create the subscription.
    Then click on synchronization status and run the snapshot agent. It hard to tell the cause unless we check Merge Agent error log.
    Regarding the Unreadable Characters,
    change system locale to Chinese if current system locale is English and test the issue. A computer restart is required to make the change effective.

    1. Checked the file extension is added or not to the search file types.
    2. Checked file name has any invalid characters.
    3. Resetting the crawl index and run a full crawl .

    The emailenable value is true. And it just does not work for one site collection. It should not be regarding any hot fix.

  • I tried exporting my film, but it wouldn't export. So, then I tried rendering all of the clips. However, as soon as I did that, it said that the project itself was offline. Yet when you go into the actual project itself, you can play the whole timeline.

    What version is FCPX and what version is your OS?
    How are you exporting and with what preset?

  • The recording process was abor

    hi gang
    i was recording from a cassette tape with the organizer when i got a prompt saying .i then did a system dianosis and it said that the mixer was not worked.it fixed it
    but im not really sure how to config the mixer so i wont see this prompt again assumiing its the mixer
    thats the problem.it seemed it needed an up date.i did the update but im still not sure.is there anything i can do to avoid these problem which seem to be alot.

    Thanks, it worked!... after about 5 hours of trying stuff and uninstalling and reinstalling software.
    They should replace that "Recording Process Was Aborted" message with one a bit more descripti've,...maybe like "destination?folder unavailable"? I haven't used the creative x-fi to record for quite awhile and forgot some of my folder locations had been moved. The current message is about as helpful as ....(insert?witty?quip here)

    Ya,we must create any development in development system and then subsequesntly to test and then production system.
    but my exp was differnt in one of my project .
    i have developed the pc in dev first and then trasported to test and then prod,
    it worked fine in dev and test but in prod it was not running ,due to some system resources.
    so i did the change direclty in prod and then it worked .
    but it was risk .

  • Will the apply process send back an acknowledgement when error or conflict?

    Hi.
    To ensure data integration, some mechanisms are introduced into streams. One of those is, when an apply process in the destination receive the LCR, it will send an acknowledgement to the propagation process in the source, and only when the propagation process in the source receive acknowledgements from all destinations, it will remove the LCR from the stream queue.
    My question is, when the apply process encountered with some exceptions, i.e. errors or conflicts, will it still send back the acknowledgement? Or this depends on whether the errors and conflicts are handled appropriately? Or some other conditions?

    It's really two seperate things. The propagation process will push the lcr to all targets. Once it is safely in all of the target queues, the lcr will be removed from the source queue. If the apply processes successfully executes the lcr, then it will be removed from the target queue for that apply process. If an unhandled exception happens, then you will see the message in dba_apply_error. The apply processes don't know (or care) about what the other apply processes may do with the lcr.

    You didn't provide info about DB relase and OS.
    But probably you are talking about AIX OS (I can't see any reason to use GPFS on Linux for RAC and I don't remember if this FS was/is supported for RAC on Linux (check Certification Matrix for this information)). Oracle is provides only one shared "filesystem" for AIX and it is ASM.
    Now it depends on DB version what options you can use.
    Till 11g R2 you have to store OCR and Voting disks outside of ASM (So you needed to use either RAW devices or Cluster Filesystem which GPFS is). Since 11g R2 you can store these disks in ASM directly.
    On Linux if you don't want to use ASM to store database files you can use OCFS2 clusterfile system.

    I already have 8GB RAM,i3 Processor.

    If you like to install RAC on vmware, this 8gb memory enough. you can allocate 2gb for one node and also other. So total 4GB enough for RAC installation.
