The battery level decrease

hi i m sashil recently i update the software of my x3 frm the near nokia care.Nowadays when i chat with my frens using nimbuzz n the listen 3 to 4 songs my battery level decrease.how is that should i have to change my battery

To all who has low battery problem.
please see that all apps are close and exit after use.
use always GSM mode as long as possible.
switch into 3G or 3.5G when ever necessary only.
even after wards battery goes down please see whether u r instrument get heated up.
then it may be due to some app running without u r knowledge. if u cannot trace it, switch off the phone and then remove the battery for a while and then refix.
then heating will not be there and battery can go for some time.
if all fails, try to replace the battery with a genuine Nokia one.
Also please note that I'am giving all these advise practically using and facing problems and getting rectifying the problem myself to certain extent {Presently using Nokia X6 (16GB)}

  • Itunes never shows the battery level as charged.

left the shuffle connected overnight yet the battery level indicator in itunes remains a charging thunderbolt. any clue what gives? don't have the issue with the classic.

hmmm ... apparently an itunes glitch: it failed to notice when the other ipod was sated as well (the classic is a bit easier than the shuffle to independently determine its battery status). seems to be a random failure as for the last couple connections, the battery status for the shuffle was updated.

  • How can I get the battery level of a connected Bluetooth device on my iPhone 4S?

My Bluetooth device is the Merkury Hexagon Bluetooth speaker, I want to know how to get the its battery level, In the manual, it says there: "Speaker battery indicator will show right on your media device (iOS support only)
    Additional details:
    - I have the latest iOS
    - Not jailbroken
    - The speaker doesn't have a "battery indicator" on it

this is not a build in part of any bluetooth profiles so to get that feature one needs third party software from the maker of the bluetooth device installed on the device in question
so maybe you should look for apps made for mercury hexagon in app store?

  • 100% to 65% Battery Level Decrease in Two Hours

My question is: "Is anyone else seeing rapid battery level drop with iPhone since upgrading to IOS 8?"
Since upgrading to IOS 8 on Wednesday the 17th, I have experienced RAPID battery level drop between charges.  I am now having to charge my iPhone 5s 32 GB half way through the morning, after lunch and when I get home.  If it weren't for my Mophie Jet Pack, a car charger and a charger at my desk, I wouldn't make it through the day.  Believe me, I have read every battery conservation tip out there. I have turned so many features/functions off that I'm really starting to wonder if IOS 8 is worth it for the iPhone 5S and below.  If I weren't faced with a daunting downgrade process, I would do it.  At least I used to be able to make it to 7 PM on IOS 7 before I put the phone on a charger or flipped on the Jet Pack.
Using the new Battery Usage report under Settings > General > Usage > Battery Usage   I see that Calendar and Notes apps have taken the lion share of the battery charge over the past 24 hours, and there is a notation stating that the usage was "Low Signal" which I assume means that the phone was trying to do its thing with a poor cell phone signal.  At work, however, I am completely on wi-fi and not cell.  So this isn't very helpful.
On the other hand, I have an iPad Mini with Retina and an iPad 3rd Gen that have been upgraded.  Neither of them have had any problems.  In fact the iPad 3rd Gen still has 92% charge after sitting in my backpack all weekend long (since being charged Friday morning).  So what I am seeing only seems to affect my iPhone.
I do remember similar issues with the IOS 7 initial upgrade, which were resolved with subsequent patches/upgrades.

Thanks Lawrence.  We use CommonTime mSuite to integrate our Lotus Notes with iPhone's Calendar, Contacts and email using the Exchange iPhone connector, and I am one of the administrators for mSuite.  I have deleted and re-added the Exchange account on my 5s running IOS 8 multiple times, and have done the same on an iPad Gen 3 and an iPad Mini.  All with the same results.  (The results are that email comes down, but calendar and contacts do not, and email will reload every so often.)  I've deleted the account on the mNotes server a couple of times as well, to no avail.  I have an old iPhone 4 still running IOS 7.1.2, and setting the exchange account up on it, immediately everything came down successfully from Lotus Notes onto the old iPhone.  This is definitely an IOS 8/CommonTime issue, and CommonTime has acknowledged that there is a problem, though they have as yet no fix.  The one good thing to come of this is I now know what was killing my battery. After 7 hours of use last night (regular use on Facebook and Feedly) my battery had only gone down to 83%. Other of our 46 users who have upgraded to IOS 8 have the same problem as I.

  • When I plug my iPad into a wall circuit and leave it for 18 hours the battery level only goes from 55% to 66% and then it quotes charging. Is this normal or do I have trouble with my adapter, it is the one that came with the iPad?

When I plug my Ipad into a wall circut it will not fully charge, It only charges up to 66% does anyone no why?

I can't tell you why it is doing this but it should not take anywhere near that long to recharge.
Try another power adapter if you have access to one - borrow one from a friend, try another wall socket, another cable ... take it to an Apple Store and let them try to charge it for you.
You can try resetting the iPad and see if that helps but I have my doubts - but it will not hurt anything either.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Your battery gauge may be giving you an incorrect reading - but I think that would be a long shot as well. How many hours of use do you get at 66%?
You can read this about the iPad battery and how to maintain and care for the battery. .

For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).

  • I bought my Iphone 4 2 days ago and I cannot recharge the battery..I tried all the night (with Iphon4 swict on) but the battery levels show alwasy 24%??????

How to recharge the battery for I-phone4????????????

    Hello Marynoemi
Have you tried reset all settings
settings > general> reset > reset all settings
if that doesn't work try following this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_AU
you should probably also try another cable and charger if you have one  and if that doesn't work call apple.

  • Any way to see exactly what the battery level is?

The little icon just doesn't do it. Any tools to see the percentage?

Not without hacking it, and in my experiences with Blackberries and such changes, it doesn't really help much.
It's meant to be an estimate rather than a truly-accurate meter.

  • Did the noise levels decrease with the G5 versus G4?

I have a dual 1.0 G4 Quicksilver tower. It is noisy just sitting there doing nothing.
I have a chance to get a dual 2.3ghz G5 tower for $250. Nice upgrade for not much dough. It's local and so no shipping.
But, I'm worried the added power will bring equal or worse ambient noise.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I was trying to use a single 733mhz G4 tower for Logic and surfing. It was just too little, could hardly do anything, but I really didn't want to spend $600-700 on a mini, so for fun, I found the dual 1.0ghz tower for $200 last year sometime. When loaded with Leopard and the max 1.5 ram, the thing actually runs nicely. I was using it for basic stuff. It's snappy, feels very similar to my MBP for most things. But I got a new drum program and it ***** up most of one cpu when running. I can freeze the track and get back all of the cpu, and I needed to burn a DL dvd, and realized I only had a regular R/RW in the G4, then I wish I had FW800 for my drives, and next thing I know, I'm on Craigslist looking at G5s. Found one nearby for around $100 less than currently on ebay and just jumped. Figure if it's too loud or slow, at least I won't lose money.
I did have the dual 2.66 MacPro when it came out. That was a nice mac, I really loved it. I just didn't need both a $3K desktop and $3K laptop, so I thought the laptop would be more useful in the long run. It has, I'm starting the 4th year with the MBP and it still keeps up just fine.
And honestly? I still have a soft spot for pre-intel macs. I've been using them since 1989 daily, and it's kind of cool to still use a powerpc in my eye. Silly, I know.

  • Battery level decreases when charging ?

I plugged my macbook pro in to charge. It charged all the way up till ~90 something percent. In terms of duration, it said that it would finish charging in two minutes. Then 4 minutes.... 6 minutes. Then I decided to turn it off.
Now that I have turned it back on it is only at 88%.
Weird. Everything seems to work ok.

  • Why does the magic mouse battery level drop suddenly?

I typically get, oh, about 3 weeks off of a pair of AA alkaline 1.5V batteries on my magic mouse.
What I don't understand though is not really being able to track the battery level in the bluetooth menu on my iMac 21.5".
The battery level even now is at 100%. What happens is is that it stays at 100% for several weeks and then all of a sudden drops to 7% or so, and I get a low battery warning. Then after a couple of days the battery will drain out.
After it drops down to 7% I can usually track the battery drain in the menu. But I never see it at 90% or 80% or 50%, etc. It just drops down suddenly near the end of the battery life.
Do other people see more continuous changes of the battery level?
The same thing happens with my bluetooth Apple keyboard that came with the iMac. Right now it is showing a level of 100%. It typically lasts for months instead of weeks, but I will never see an in-between battery level value until I get a low-battery warning.
I'm thinking of rechargeable batteries for my magic mouse. But I see too many negatives posted here in the forums about that, so I am hesitant about investing in those batteries and a charger if it's not going to work well.
    Thanks,
    doug

Maybe it's a Mac model issue? I'm running the late 2009 model, purchased in February 2010, and running Lion.
But I've never seen the battery level display in-between values.
Here's what it is showing now and I replaced the batteries over a week ago.
Do your batteries also last a few weeks in the magic mouse?
    Thanks,
    doug

  • Miix 3 1030 - The battery discharges slowly when adapter is connected

Just as the subject says, the battery level slowly discharges over time even when the adapter is connected while the tablet is running.
But when I turn the tablet off, the battery appears to be charging fine.
This happens all the time, and it doesn't matter if I play a game or if the tablet is just idle with no programs running.
I used to be able to play a game with the adapter connected at the same time without the battery being discharged, so this issue has started recently.
I've tried different charging cables, but same issue.
Bios is up to date (v25).
The folio case keyboard firmware is also up to date (v10).
The windows power settings is set to power saving, and I've tried to decrease the brightness.
I am usually very busy during the day so I might not have time to call the support, so I was hoping that someone here could assist. Any suggestions?

It is actually both the "mains power" and (with some delay) the "battery" icons flickering (the latter sometimes turning red even though it should be blue as per the full charge status. This seems to be due to the plug of the AC-200 power supply /charger shipped with type RX-72 Booklet 3Gs which is NOT making proper contact, being longer than the socket's depth and having all-too-literal radial "wiggle room" (as if of insufficient diameter) at least on the units of several reviewers at http://hukd.mydealz.de/deals/ebay-wow-nokia-booklet-3g-349-euro-versandkostenfrei/8751#un96854 - moreover I have heard one of these netbooks (not just the PSU itself) make a high-pitch hissing sound (as from switching PSU or LED backlight transformer coils) only while the mains charger is plugged into the Booklet 3G. In fact it needs to be firmly plugged in to make contact at all, but it just does not fit tightly into its wider than expected socket - actually whatever little vibrations are caused probably by the slow hard disk suffice to disconnect the plug and drain the battery after a few hours unattended in an empty room. I do very much hope that this is just a problem of the charger rather than an engineering defect in the Booklet itself, and that Nokia will indeed take the opportunity to offer me another one with a better plug to try.

  • 10.5.8 won't show UPS battery level

I just installed an APC Smart UPS 1000 VA UPS to my Mac Pro server.  The USB cable is plugged in and the UPS battery is fully charged according to the display on the UPS itself.  The Energy Saver control panel is the APC preferred control method (they do not supply software for MAC OS X after 10.4) and all the controls appear as expected with the exception that the Battery Level indicator at the top of the Prefs panel shows 0% full.
I've unplugged and plugged it back in to no effect.  I restarted the server.  I turned off the power at the wall switch and the UPS ran the server with no dramas for about 10 minutes.  Nothing I tried had any effect.
There is nothing in the APC support site other than instructions for using Energy Saver panel.
Our power here has been pretty flaky this year and I want the server to gracefully shut down after about 10 minutes of an outage.  It won't work if the UPS won't talk to the copmputer.
    Steve

Have you checked to see if another USB device works on the USB port the UPS is connected to?

after upgrading to ios 5.1 on my iphone 3gs, the battery percentage dosent work well, it dosent move. how can i fix the problem?

Have you tried doing turning the battery level display off and then General -> "Reset all settings"? You won't loose any data and that should do the trick.

  • Is it possible to have the battery charge percent also on the iPod Touch?

    Hi all.
    I'm new here.
I've noticed that on the iPod Touch (4G and 5G) there isn't the option to show the Battery level in % (percentual) format on the top bar.
Is it possible to integrate it with a iOS upgrade?
    If it is impossible: why?
I don't know how to contact Apple directly... so I've joined the community.
In my opinion iPod Touch is a very good product (as all Apple's products)... but I don't understand these differences with iPhone.
    Thanks in advance,
    Massimiliano

You can NOT turn on percentage on the iPod for what ever reason.
