The battery of my iPod discharge and discharge so fast. What do I have to do?

I have an iPod touch 5g, I bought it in January 2nd and also I bought the apple power adapter of 5w and I don't know what to do because it's charges in 1 or in less of two true full battery and also in almost the same it des charges the battery so I don't know what to do in front of that. Also I have turn off the location services in certain apps and I followed some tips of how to expand the battery life of your battery but sometimes seems to work sometimes it's the same situation so anybody please help me in this situation.
I want to know how to fix the battery due to I'm abroad of US and where I am now  there's no apple stores or somebody authorized to help me.
Thanks

After you have updated your device to version 5.1.1, have you tried resyncing everything from your iTunes yet?

Unfortunately, you can not. Content can only be synced to the Shuffle via iTunes on a PC or Mac.

  • Someone changed the password to my ipod touch and does not remember what she changed it to. I have been doing reseach on restoring but it says that restoring will delete all data. I don't have any of my photos and songs backed up. What should i do?

So i don't know the password to my ipod and it's disbled. i also don't have a computer. What should i do? Is there a possible way i could unlock my ipod without losig=ng anything?

You maybe able to get the photos off the iPod by:
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
You will have to then restoe the iPod via iTunes. It may be necessary to place the iPod in Recovery mode to allow the restore.

  • The battery in my iPod touch runs out very fast, why?

My ipod's battery does not last very long. If I leave it unpluged for a half day it's already dead even though nothing seems to be running. It wasn't like this when I bought it in January this year and why is this happening? Is there anything I can check before I bring it back to the store? Thank you very much for your help!

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

    Thanks for answer

If you go to Apple, they will not replace your battery, but exchange your iPod for a refurbished iPod of the same model with a new battery.  Therefore you will lose everything that is not backed up.  If you change it yourself or have a third party change it, you will most likely not lose anything (but still best to make a backup as lllaass suggested).

  • The battery of my Ipod doesnt charge, so how much it cost and where can I replace it??

the battery of my Ipod doesnt charge, so how much it cost and where can I replace it???

You can take it to an Apple store...I think its costly though, I was told maybe a 100 bucks...not sure though. How long have you had the iTouch before the battery showed signs of failure, what Generation?
This is something that has been having me wonder about battery life.

the battery on my ipod is out of power and i have plugged in the power adapter and there is no screen message in fact the screen is unlit and blank  any thoughts

I assume knowing shows on the display at all? How long have you left it to charge?  It can take up to 30 minutes for the iPod to show any signs of life and even then it sometimes still requires a hard reset of the iPod to get it to boot up.
Otherwise, tr a reset. To do this, press and hold both the Select/Center and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

  • HT4060 My iPad wont charge when plugged into a computer, the battery isn't lasting long, and its getting hot when charging

My iPad wont charge when plugged into a computer, the battery isn't lasting long, and its getting hot when charging

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. In rare instances when using the Camera Connection Kit, you may notice that iPad does not charge after using the Camera Connection Kit. Disconnecting and reconnecting the iPad from the charger will resolve this issue.

Sounds like it may need to be replaced. Contact Apple.

  • Am I able to reset the battery of an iPod Touch 5G myself?

Am I able to reset the battery of an iPod Touch 5G myself? Because my battery is doing strange. When I put it in a computer it says 'charging off'. When I put it in a charger it is normally charging but when I take it out, it says 20% battery life remaining. I put it in the charger the whole night but I don't know what's wrong. But after it says 20% it turns off (of course) but when I turn it on, the battery is 100%! I didn't even put it in a charger! And then the same story begins. over and over.

Hey Ron61, Don't know about resetting the battery, but you can do a reset of the iPod. Start with a soft reset. Press and hold the power and home buttons together, until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds+/-) then release both buttons. If no joy, then go into Settings>General>Reset then tap Reset All Settings. If that does my work try allowing your iPod to drain down until it turns off, then charge at least 4 hours. Also try a different cable, the lighting cables have a history of failing / shorting out. And inspect your charging port on the iPod for foreign debris or damage. If still not joy, make a full set of backups of everything on this iPod to your computer then try to Restore for Backup or last resort Restore to New. If none of the above work, contact your Apple store or Apple Genius Bar and have your iPod evaluated for possible hardware issue. Bring you cable alone also. Good luck. Cheers.

  • Do I need iTunes to recharge the battery of my iPod?

I will be taking a 12 hrs flight on Friday and would like to watch iPod during the flight. However, I need to recharge my battery after 2 hours or do something else. I do have my company laptop (w/ USB port) with me but the laptop does not have iTunes (thks to company policy).
Do I need iTunes to recharge the battery of my iPod? Or is the USB port is enough?

you don't need itunes to charge it
some laptops have low power usb ports, so it is worth checking before you travel to see how good a job of charging the laptop can do
you can get external battery packs to go with the ipod, but this can be a pricey way of using it

That would depend entirely on what you do with it and how much you use it.
