  • How to write a  SQL based on a  view can get the best performance ?

    Hi ,
I am thinking about performance of  sql based on VIEW .<b>For the best performance ,How to do when I create  and use a view ?</b>  for example , Should i use key in my where clause as select data from table?  (of cause ,this key refers to the key of table which structure the view. ) , <b>Could you give me any advice on creating and using view in term of performance</b> ?

    Hi Guixin Chen,
Performance depends on various factors. The major key factors are:
    1.  Result Set should be Small
    2.  Amount of Data Transferred should be minimum.
    3.  Number of Data Transfers should be minimum.
    4.  Search Overhead should be minimum.
    5.  Database Load should be minimum.
For more details, check the following docs.

    1.  Transaction code ST05
    2.   From ABAP Workbench using the menu path Test Performance Trace.

Help I have a Macbook 2006 model and I like to play videogames on it, well when I leave it plugged in it gets the best performance, when its not plugged in its decent, so will it hurt my battery if I leave it plugged in at all times?

No, it will hurt your battery, but it is not recommended by Apple. Additionally, since you have a model with a removable battery, you should calibrate the battery once a month if you leave it plugged in at all times.

  • Which X Series Model Has the Best Performance?

I am looking for the best performing computer in the X series.
Which model should I buy, if that is my criteria?
    Thanks!

Agreed: x201 w/ SSD.  8GB would be great *if* you like to have a *lot* of things running simultaneously.  The fact is, with 4GB and an SSD you have less latency on the pagefile.  (Also it saves you a few hundred bucks!)

  • What's the best performance RAM?

I own a 15" MacBook Pro Mid 2012 and currently have 4GB of RAM. I use Adobe CS6 and want to know what's the best performance RAM to upgrade to? I am looking to go 16GB. Any information is much appreciated!

There is no such thing. All RAM spec'd to run on your hardware will perform the same. This is true of any make and any brand. Purchase from a reputable vendor. Only buy memory that is specified for your model in Apple documentation for your model. That would be:
    Built-in Memory
    8 or 16 GB PC3-12800 (1600 MHz) DDR3L on-board memory
    Maximum Memory
    16 GB
DDR3L refers to the low-voltage, 1.35 v, rated memory and not the 1.5 v rated memory.

  • Which is better to keep battery in the best performance ?

Which way is consider better to keep laptop battery in the best performance: 1- plug it in charge always. 2- use laptop battery without plug in electricity source when battery become full charge.

    Hi
It makes no difference which way you use because if you keep the AC/DC adaptor is connected and the battery is fully charged, the battery will not be used. It will only be used if you disconnect the AC/DC adaptor.
Furthermore a battery can be recharged up to 500 times so I always work with connected AC/DC adaptor. But I would suggest to completely charge and discharge the battery from time to time. ;)

    Hi Janusz Such,
Based on my knowledge, CAS proxy can only from later version to previous version.
    Some like CAS2013 to CAS2010/2007, CAS2013 to CAS2013.
    Thanks

    Hello!
Snow Leopard is what i am currently using. But i guess it does need some clean up and maybe a clean install to see if it gets faster.
I believe 4gb is the limit for this model, although i've seen some with 6gb…

  • What's iOS is the best performance for iP4 & 3Gs

    Hi all guys here.
    How are you all guys?
    I'm new here.
I'm now running IOS 4.1 for my both iPhone(3Gs and 4)
But i want the new features.
Can anyone here recommend me what the best IOS for iP3Gs and iP4? ( d best performance )
Without battery draining or make my iphone slower.
    I'm greatly appreciate that guys.
    Trillion Thanks!!!

Doesn't really matter, since the only iOS available for either of your phones is iOS 4.3.5, if you chose to update. Users have complained about every single iOS update since the first update for the original iPhone was released. Fact is, the vast majority of users have zero issues & happily go about their ways.

  • What would be the best performing OS to run jdeveloper/adf/weblo

Just got a new box and was wondering what operating system to install. I've been developing on mac os x 64 bit for the past 6 months as my experience with Windows XP 32 bit was very painful. I assume most Oracle in house Jdeveloper developments are done on Redhat 64 bit and my guess would be that Jdeveloper must be behaving pretty smoothly on there.
A few years back in the OC4J days, I remember using Jdev 10g on a linux box and having a better experience than what I am now experimenting on OSX or XP.
    Any advice?
    Best Regards,
    JP

I happily use Windows XP 32bit at work, and Windows 7 64bit for my on-the-road laptop. So experiences on these platforms are subjective. Biggest bugbear in the past has not been Windows, but the annoying virusscanners that enterprises insist on installing, particularly McAfee, which scan each JAR and destroy performance.
A number of ADF experts have been reporting a move to SDD hard drives, be it Windows or Mac platform, has increased the speed of their FMW installs significantly.

  • Getting the best performance

I was recently told that you can get a better performance if you store your samples and audio on an external hard drive rather than having everything running from your main hard drive. Is this correct?
I currently have everything on my laptop. Would it benefit me to have samples from the EXS24 and audio tracks running from an external hard drive?
Im also thinking of getting a mac pro. So would having my samples and audio on a 2nd hard drive bay have the same effect?

It obviously depends on the performance of your main disk and that of your external disk. If your main drive is a 10000rpm Scream-O-Matic with turbo charged platter acceleration and your external drive is a 5400rpm 2.5"microdrive powered by solar panels and connected via USB, then there's hardly anything gained.
Firewire or external SATA would be mandatory.
    On a MacPro it's a no-brainer.

  • How do I get the best performance out of my graphics card under bootcamp?

I have a 20" iMac, I think it was 2009 I got it, maybe 2010. It has an nVidia 9400 graphics card. I have installed windows XP under bootcamp with which to play games specicially Star Trek online and Star Wars The Old Republic (also online game). Now the minimum graphics spec for SWTOR is an nVidia 7800 yet with the 9400 I can only play if I run everything on the lowest possible settings. I'd assumed that the 9400 being several models higher than the 7800 I should be able to run a higher level of graphics and seem to be capable of running better quality when playing games under OS X.
I may be wrong but it seems under bootcamp windows doesn't run my Mac at as high a level as it is capable. For one thing when I look under the specs it states I only have 2.7GB ram when the iMac actually has 4GB.
Am I just over estimating the graphics potential of my iMac or am I right in thinking that Windows under bootcamp isn't utilising the iMac's full potential and how can I fix this?
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks.

you run into the limits of XP and built in graphics.
I would hope that you found in all these years how to install and get new moddified gpu drivers.
XP is limited and is 32-bit where each app gets 2GB address space also.
Windows 7 64-bit (or 8 even free for now to test out) otherwise wait to buy a new Mac.

  • HT1688 It appears to be more financially and practically obvious that it is better to buy a separate SIM card and install it in iPhones to get the best performance/price options in international use options. In Europe that is available, can I do that?

I wish to install new SIMs for my iPhones in the UK to take advantage of far better rates and cost. Does anyone have any advice or caveates concerning this? Thanks.

You need an unlocked phone. If your phone is locked to a carrier you must ask them to unlock it. Some will, others will not. Or you can buy an unlocked phone directly from Apple.
