The board PC-LPM-16 , PCI-6032E , PCI-6033 are with conversion sample-hold ? a

I have bought for a long time the cards PC-LPM-16 , PCI-6032E , PCI-6033E . Now I have necessity to acquire 16 channels without retard of time among a channel and another; do they have such cards this possibility?
If they don't have it does a list of the cards that they have the sample-hold exist?

If you meant if these boards can perform simultaneous sampling. I got this idea because of your sentence "without retard of time among a channel and another". Those boards cannot perform simultaneous sampling, they have a single DAC for sampling all of the channels. Thus, there will always be a time delay between the sampling of one channel and the next one.
The boards that perform simultaneous sampling are the following PCI-6110, PCI-6111 and PCI-6115.
I hope this information is helpful, and if this is not the answer to your question. Can you state it more clearly, please? Sorry about this.

  • Continuation on my question "The board PC-LPM-16 , PCI-6032E , PCI-6033 are with conversion sample-hold ?

In my question I wanted to ask if such cards have a negligible ( not a null ) delay between a channel and another ( for istance 1/max rate of board also at slowly acquisitions ) .
Is it possible to know the delay of my cards and of the National Instr. cards in general ?

I will try to explain the interchannel delay of the 6032E, based on the parameters provided in the catalog 2002.
The maximum sampling speed of the board is for all of the channels. That means, if one channel is read, it can be sampled up to 100KS/s. If three channels are read, each one will be sampled at a maxium of 33.33 KS/s.
The delay among the samples for consecutive channels is constant, and it is the maximum speed of the board. For this case (pci-6032e), it is 10 us (microseconds) (1/100KS/s).
On the other hand, if you sample one single channel at 50KS/s, the delay among the samples will be 20 us.
If two channels are sampled at 20,000 samples per second, the first sample would take place in time 0s, the second would take place in 10 us, the third
(that is the second of the first channel would be in time 50 ns, the forth (second of second channel) in time 60 ns. Thus, the delay among samples of consecutive channels is always 10 ns, but the delay among consecutive samples of the same channel is defined by the specified sampling frequency. The delay between the sample of the last channel and the first channel is defined then by the sampling frequency and by the number of channels.
    Hope this information is helpful.

Sounds like it's hardware issue. The iPhone warranty is based in the original country of purchase. Since it was bought in Korea you will need to ship the phone to someone you know in Korea to be taken in and then they will have to ship it back to you. The cost of shipping will be at your expense.

  • Board Help - PCI or PCIe with RS422

Can anyone suggest a low cost board that'll work with WebPack and has RS-422 I/O?  I only need a couple of channels.  I can use either PCI or PCIe.  The avionics I'm trying to interface with are fairly simple.
I've found a couple options that were in the $2K+ range.  I found a great board from Mesa, but they aren't answering email or calls.

    Sorry for the late reply.
I don't care much about the target device, would prefer a Spartan series for price, 3 or later and supported by the free tools (apparently no longer called Webpack?).
That board would be awesome, but I need a standard PCI or PCIe.  I'd have to build up a stack to use a PC/104.

    D'avance merci

Que voulez-vous dire par "acquisition instable"? Vous trouvez les mesures bruitées?
    Les mesures de températures avec thermocouple sont très sensibles. Si vous faîtes une mesure toutes les ms, vous risquez de voir beaucoup de bruit dans votre signal. Essayez simplement de moyenner vos mesures sur des intervailles de temps d'au moins 1 seconde;
Aussi, vérifier les spécifications de votre matériel (http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/370720c.pdf + thermocouple) pour déterminer l'incertitude sur vos mesures.

  • Accessing the 3 extra DIO ports of a PCI 6025

How do I access the 3 extra DIO ports of my PCI 6025E ?
I understand that it is not supported -yet- by DAQmx base.
From the writeDigPort.c example it looks like it is possible using
    DAQmxBaseCreateDOChan(...,"Dev1/port0:2",...) but it returns a -1 error.
I had a look a the MHDDK ( tSTC and tESeries files) and it looks like the
extra DIO ports of the 6025 are not accessible/exported. If I want to access
the extra 6025 ports via the 8255 I need to write my own much like the
    DIO96's t8255 files ? I would prefer to avoid such a writing....
    Thanks
    Chris

    I haven't actually test this but ...
You should be able to use the existing 8255 Chip object and examples from the DIO-96 and just change the offsets within t8255.h.  The offset for the 8255 registers on the 6025E are as follows:
    portARegisterOffset =   0x19;
    portBRegisterOffset =   0x1B;
    portCRegisterOffset =   0x1D;
    controlRegisterOffset = 0x1F;

  • Standard PCI to PCI bridge no longer working after BIOS update

    Hey everyone,
Before I get into the details of what is probably the most frustrating computer problem I have ever faced I would first like to say hello because this is my first post and I give you my system specs.
    Windows 7 ultimate x64
    GA-M61PME-S2P (rev 1.0) MOBO
    2x 120GB Mushkin SSD @3.5gbps Raid 0
AMD Phenom II x4 @2.2 GHZ (Old processor that I replaced)
AMD Phenom II 1090T x6 @ 3.2GHZ (New processor that replaced the Phenom x4)
MSI Cyclone GTX 550 TI OC (Nvidia)
    8 Gigs 800mhz DDR2 RAM (Computer Bay)
    I have had a GA-M61PME-S2P (rev 1.0) board for several years now and have never had any problems. I recently bought a brand new AMD phenom II x6 1090T processor because it was listed as being supported by my board. The BIOS version that I had installed before purchasing this processor (version F5) was unable to recognize my new processor and boot so I had to update to the latest version (version F7b). After flashing my BIOS with the new version I was able to boot and my computer recognized my processor with the correct name and clock speeds. Unfortunately it now no longer recognizes one of my standard PCI to PCI bridges. Of the two standard PCI to PCI bridges listed in device manager one of them has a yellow exclamation point and reads "error code 35 firmware does not contain enough info to configure this device". I have tried everything I can think of but just cant seem to get my processor and graphics card to work under the same BIOS version. I will now list every step I have taken;
1.)  I have re-flashed several times between versions F5 and F7b but always get the same results
2.)  I have used Driver cleaner in safe mode to wipe all drivers and then double checked programs and features to make sure nothing was still installed.
3.)  I have installed all drivers for the board from Gigabytes website, although when I try to install the VGA driver i get an error saying that no device could be found that supports the driver.
4.) I once again wiped everything in safe mode and then found the latest chipset drivers for nvidia Nforce from NVidia's site but got the same results.
5.) I tried downloading the F7b BIOS from some random website  just in case the file from Gigabyte was somehow broken but this did not change anything. (I know that's generally a bad idea but I am desperate)
6.) I uninstalled the problem standard PCI to PCI bridge in device manager and restarted my computer but got the same results.
7.) I tried installing my graphics card drivers from MSI but got an error saying that no supported hardware could be found.
8.) I tried installing a number of different versions of the Nvidia graphics card drivers for my series but kept getting that same error message
9.) I downloaded the Graphics card detector program that NVidia provides on their site but it told me that it could not detect my graphics card.
10.) I tried Flashing my BIOS to the F6 version for the rev 1.3 board but this turned out to be a huge mistake because my computer would no longer post after this and I had to use a FAT32 flash drive and the q-flash utility to bring it back to life.
11.) I checked over and over and over again that my BIOS settings were right and nothing was setup to only use on-board graphics.
12.) I tried downloading a driver that was supposedly for the PCI to PCI bridge but im fairly sure this was just a trojan because the install did not complete and I found tons of fun plugins installed afterwards (I reformatted shortly after this).
13.) I made sure that my new processor was plugged in and that my BIOS was version F7b and then completely wiped my hard drive and re-installed windows 7 ultimate x64 but got the same results.
14.) I made a bootable DOS flash drive and tried updating my Graphics card BIOS but found that I already have the latest version.
What I don't understand is that my graphics card works perfectly with BIOS version F5 and my processor works perfectly with BIOS version F7b but under no circumstance do they both work at the same time. It may be worth noting that with version F7b installed I am still able to use my graphics card ( my Monitor is plugged into it via DVI) It just gives me the error under device manager and I can not install any drivers.
If anyone out there can help me I will be insanely grateful and will refer to you from then on as the master of all things MSI. I'm at my wits end,  If you need any further info just ask and I will provide.

Ah ok I was afraid you were going to say that. I will take this to gigabyte then but just so I know, This PCI to PCI bridge problem couldn't have anything to do with my MSI graphics card BIOS somehow not being compatible with the Gigabyte BIOS?
    -Thank you!

  • K7n2 L - pci to pci bridge problem (unsolveable ressource-conflict)

    hallo.
if i enable graphics-adapter(agp - hercules 4500), no pci-devices are shown. it's a e/a conflict between the "pci to pci bridge" and the "nvidianforce2 agp host to pci bridge".
i tried to fix it by convert the acpi-pc into a standard-pc and as this doesnt work i installed win2k with the f5-key   --> choosing standard-pc.
nothing work! i still can't solve the conflict.
the ressources are still not adjustable in device-manager.
when i disable the "pci to pci bridge" a window pop up and tell me that new hardware (graphics-adapter) is found.
thnx for any sugestions in advance!
    mike
ps: i tried moving the pci-cards and upgraded bios to 5.1

i like to thank u all, ppl. i phoned the support and they told me that they dont know anything about incompatibilities and i should check the "Compatibility Test Report" (thnx moot). did that and found no hercules-board in it! damn, what can i do.. i changed the mb against a A7N8X deluxe. guess what.. the new board doesnt even boot with the hercules-card attached. put in my old g-force2 and the mainboard works. now i put the hercules in my 2nd pc and bought a asus g-force 4 - 8x - board and all works fine. i'm pleased because i now have the mcp-T sound onboard i wanted first.
    last thing to say:
    the msi-telephon-support in germany sucks!
    thnx again and best regards

  • How to buy a PC to accomodate 5-Volt PCI card PCI-6602?

We've been having the devil of a time finding a computer with 3 or more
PCI slots at all, and then most makers & sellers have no idea about
voltage compatability!  My understanding is that the NI-PCI-6602
(of which we have just bought 2) is a 5-Volt card, and therefore my PC
needs to have either a "5-Volt" slot or a "Universal" slot which would
be capable of accomodating either a 5 volt or a 3 volt (3.3 volt?)
card.  To confuse the issue further, some *cards* are said to be
'Universal,' meaning that they can operate in either a 5 volt slot or a
3 volt slot.  Thus, a slot capable of accomodating a 'Universal'
card is not necessarily a "Universal" slot!  Oh, and did I mention
that all these cards and slots fit mechanically, it is just that some
combinations don't work electrically.  Besides this, I have heard
that some motherboards, while not offering "Universal" slots are
switchable to either 5 or 3 volts.  I'm not even getting in to the
different kinds of PCI slots (PCIE, PCIX, etc.)  The slot I think
I need for my new pair of 6602s is a plain old PCI slot.  I am
happy to buy (or even build) new computers to do this job.  I just
need something with 5-volt plain PCI slots, five of them ideally but at
    least three.  Thank you!

Pretty much any new computer that you can get will have the appropiate
PCI type that you need to use these boards. You will be looking for a
Computer/Motherboard that is compatiable with the PCI 2.1 or 2.2
standard which supports the 5V you need to power these PCI-6602s. What
you might be seeing is a lot of computers that are coming with the
PCI-Express slots, which are very different then stardard PCI. These
computers, since they have PCI-Express, have a limited number of
standard PCI slots (usually 3). So if you go with a computer with no
PCI-Express, then most will have 5 slots. So depending on whether you
go with your favorite computer maker or decide to build a machine
yourself just make sure that the motherboard says it has 5 PCI slots
(and not PCI-Express, or PCI-X) and as long it is new you should be just fine. If
you want to read up on some on the PCI standard here is a link to a
    good resource.

  • PCI 7340 , PCI 7344 Confusion

    Hi all,
I have recently purchased a PCI-7344 motion control card from NI. But it says PCI-7340 in MAX. What can be the reason. Have I received the wrong card by mistake?

    Giridhar,
everything is ok with your 7344. We have just recently switched to a new hardware revision and now all boards don't show up with their specific names but with the name of the board family:
    Board Family    Specific Boards
    NI 7330             NI 7332, NI 7334
    NI 7340             NI 7342, NI 7344
    NI 7350             NI 7352, NI 7354, NI 7356, NI 7358
MAX still knows the specific board configurations so you don't have to worry.

  • The board and my ti4200

Hello.. this is my first post.
I have the 865PE Neo2-LS, 2.6 GHz.  First time I ever tried to POST the machine went into an endless reboot loop and my monitor went into "no signal" mode.  After powering down and booting up a few times, it finally worked.
My problem right now is with the nVidia software I installed.  When I try to open up the nVidia settings tool, the monitor flickers off and on.  When I change resolution, or basically anything related to my monitor or video, the monitor flickers off and on.  The video card is the LeadTek Winfast A280LE TDH VIVO (128MB DDR - Nvidia GeForce4 Ti4200 GPU).
Even when i go to normal display settings, when i hit the nvidia tab, it does the same flicker.  But it's not so much a flicker, it's a lot slower.   -- type thing.
Another thing is whenever I try to change anything in the bios, it goes back to that endless rebooting thing.
But other than that, I'm enjoying the board..

Oh yeah, one other thing I should mention is that I've already upgraded all of the drivers.  All the dlls and sys files are on version 6.4.10.5216.  I was just thinking maybe I should just downgrade them to an earlier version, would that help?
    Thanks.

  • PCI 6527/PCI 6602 Hardware resource conflicts

    Hello,
I'm running into a problem with my motherboard and a comination of NIDAQ cards.  Normally I have all 6 PCI slots filled with various cards, I have narrowed the problem down to some combination of 2-3 cards.  I can install a PCI-6527 card and a Commtech-Fastcomm ESCC-PCI card into various combinations of PCI slot positions, some combinations the OS will but just fine.  Some combinations the OS will come up and show 50%+ cpu utilization in the Idle Process, attribuated to interrupt handling.  When a good combination is found I can then install a PCI-6602 card and the utilzation problem shows back up.  I have not iterated through all the combinations of the 3 cards yet to see if there is some combination that works, but it appears there is a resource conflict.  I have installed NI-DAQ v 7.4T, and have the latest drivers for the Commtech card.  I also have one more ESCC-PCI card that needs to be installed, so this may become more nerve wracking.  I do not have the ability in the BIOS to manually set PCI assignments.  This is on a fresh install of Windows 2000.
    Thanks

If you already have an application that uses the Tradtional NI-DAQ C
API, you would have to rewrite the code that uses the DAQ function
calls, as DAQmx function calls are quite different.  I would
definitely recommend using NI-DAQmx for future applications, however.
If things seem normal with just National Instruments boards installed
and the issue arises when you put in the other boards, I would contact
the vendor of your other boards.  As far as setting IRQs in
Windows 2000, I believe Windows does it automatically, and ignores what
the BIOS settings for IRQs are.  See the following Knowledge Base.
Aside from this it seems that the boards are working -- interrupts are
obviously needed to communicate to devices but as far as what may be
going on at the process level or how the other boards may be affecting
this is more an operating system issue.
