The box sure gets very "warm", can you say HOT?

I just bought it, have it connected wirelessly, sync'd with the MacBook Pro and streaming from the Mac Pro. Took forever to "download" just the iTunes even though I had 5 bars... "G", not "N", and we're only talking about 1500 songs.
Concerned about the heat of the box.
How do you turn it "Off"?

to see how much watt it use when being on and not doing anything
and how much it use when in the "standby'ish" mode
if all it does when in that mode is wating for wifi action and still use
48Watt then my router does it for much less heat or fans

I cannot open a new page from the Firefox favorites menu, it worked before in other versions and this new 5.1 version, but stopped working a few days ago, uninstalled, downloaded a fresh program.. same problem exists. I am trying to update my apps but I am receiving an invalid address box. Can anyone tell me what is going on with this box? I put my correct info in and the box continues to pop up.
There are a number of threads about it - it looks like Apple recently updated their address validation. Some people have recorded success by :
ensuring that their iTunes account address is exactly the same as appears on their credit card bill
putting something in the second line of the address (including just copying the first line)
expanding abbreviations e.g. St to Street, Ave to Avenue etc (or conversely abbreviating)
putting apartment or suite number on the second address line -

I synced my iPhone 4, but it keeps getting the red exclamation points and an error message when I try to download the latest software. And, it won't let me restore the phone without the latest software. I'm stuck.
Then, this morning, the phone locked up completely. I got it to turn off finally, by holding down the power button and home button at the same time for more than 10 seconds. But still no luck with the software download.
It's Thanksgiving, and can't go to Apple.
My phone is my only telephone (no home phone), and I use it to keep track of two email addresses (personal and work). So I'm anxious to have it fully operational.

I bought my MacBook about one and a half month ago. It is my first Mac computer so this might be a stupid question, hehe...
I have noticed lately that the computer gets very warm. The computer is placed on a desk. But still after using it for a few hours it gets warm so I feel the heat on the keyboard when I type.
I didn't notice this in the begining, it has started the last week. Is it normal that the computer gets so warm it feels on the keyboard?
(more than a little feeling, I understand that I will feel alittle warm)

Have you rebooted (reset) the phone? If that does not resolve the problem there are a number of diagnostics that you can try. A search of the forum for "battery problem" should be rewarding. You don't need to include the version in the search, as this can happen with any version. -

You should not see anything labeled iCloud in Windows Explorer. -

You should be aware that the newest version, CC, is only available as a subscription.
CS6 can be purchased at Adobe, or second hand, see below.
Older versions such as CS5 can only be bought second hand, with a licence transfer through Adobe, requiring that the licence has not been used as a basis for an upgrade. -

I can only guess about the reason... Firefox works with many websites' "rich text" editors, but ones that haven't been updated for five years may assume that Firefox is the old Netscape browser and use scripting techniques that don't work in Firefox.
If Verizon has a different "basic" or HTML editor that you can tolerate using, you could try that. It might not be subject to the same incompatibilities.
If I someday get a Verizon account, I will surely be looking into this further, but for now, it's hard to suggest anything else. -

The Temperature warning usually appears when the iPad has been set in a place where it gets so hot to the touch that you'd almost burn your hands if you picked it up. The temperature caused by the processor or charging the battery should never reach that level. If you feel your pad is too warm when you are using it Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
