The browser on one PC, on my Verizon email page exhibits an aberation.
Sorry to be vague in the title question, but without a screen shot this will be difficult to explain. Only on one of my 3 PC's and only on the Verizon main eMail page does this aberation occur. Two things: under the "Action" pull down menu, some of the choices are overwritten...as if the column is too narrow. Also the word Verizon appears above the Settings lable next to Calendars. Additionally, a printed webpage comes out so small, it's hard to read...I don't know if all this is associated.
I have a screen shot saved as a png file, but don't know how to include it with this question.
Don't know if this is going to work, but in the reply section, I added the screen shot.

Why does the browser window change colour when I bookmark a page or click the Downloads button?
Using Firefox 20 on MacOS - when I click the Downloads button or Cmd-D to bookmark a page, the browser window changes from looking like this:

Wow, that looks odd! I have no idea why that would happen, but I wonder if it's related to one of the add-ons you have installed? I see a red icon in the status bar that I'm not familiar with, which leads me to believe that you may have other add-ons installed. One thing to try is to start Firefox Firefox with add-ons disabled (you can do this from the Help menu). If you don't see this problem in that mode, the issue is caused by one of the add-ons. From the Tools menu, you can access the add-ons and disable them one by one. Remember to restart each time and then test it out.
If none of that takes care of this, my other suggestion would be Firefox Reset: [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]]

Format of the verizon email page
The email page is cluttered with headers and tabs and miscellaneous junk. The actual text that I receive and send is given extremely little space at the bottom of the window. See the picture here.
Can I change the format to see more text area??You might find it better to use an email client app on the android (Verizon or vanilla) rather then trying to use a web version.

Does any one have problems with verizon email ? Mainly with email folders .
I have an ipad2 and can not get any folder besides inbox and trash on my ipad .. It seems to be because I have to use yahoo.verizon server.. I have tried to sync the ipad several times but do not get folders that are on my Dell desktop running Windows 7.
If the Verizon account is a POP account, then it will not sync folders from your PC. Those could just be local folders that your mail client lets you create on the computer. Those will not sync to the iPad.
If you go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your inbox, trash folder folders are - if there is an Edit button at the top of the window - tap that and then tap Add Mailbox at the bottom.
If the Edit button is not there - you cannot create folders on the iPad. Your email account is not IMAP. Only IMAP email accounts can create folders on the iPad. Any folders that you would already have in an IMAP account would sync to the device as well.
Why you are not seeing a sent folder is odd .... Have you sent email from this account yet? -

Not a problem, Safe Mode will disable addons and hardware acceleration. If this continues and it is not an add on this will be the next step to try to disable acceleration:
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
#Open Firefox ''Options'' window (''Preferences'' on Mac or Linux) as follows:
#* In Firefox 29.0 and above, click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]] and select ''Options'' for Windows or ''Preferences'' on Mac or Linux.

Open the browser in one screen but always in the same.
From an external application that opens Firefox browser and we got two monitors (extended desktop), it happens that opens Firefox where is the mouse pointer. This is hampering us greatly because of the screens should not be opened for any reason in one of these screens.

VPN requires input of user id and password on authentication browser page. However, the browser page flashes for an instance (less than one second) and then returns an error page "failed to authenticate". It is failing to authenticate because I am unable to input the required username / password on the authentication page. Is there a setting I need to modify to allow the authentication page to wait for input?

main content div - the text in the main content div keeps resizing
to the size of the browser window - I don't want the text to resize
if I make the browser window smaller - I want it to remain the
same. I am trying to float the text right and input a width but
this is not working for me. What am I doing wrong?

My home page opens just fine. When I type a search topic in the search box, it goes to the list of possible websites. But when I click on any of those choices, the browser is automatically redirecting my to a different page (usually an advertisement). How do I keep this from happening any more? Incorporating the BROWSER back button in flash
I have seen a new layout in Flash, where the browser's back
button can be used to hit different pages that have been visited
INSIDE the flash clip. So for ex, you go to a URL and its a full
browser flash site, then click "news" and go to the news page. If
you click back on the BROWSER, it takes you back to the main page
of the flash site, not the last URL visited in the browser. Here is

Configuring the browser window title for an iWeb-created page?

How do you customize the text that appears in the browser window's title for an iWeb-created page? (e.g., at the top of the browser window where it says "Apple - Support - Discussions - etc."). I had assumed that the the name I designated for the page via the Inspector would be used as the browser window title, but instead iWeb is using the first line of text within the page itself.

It takes about a second or two to replace the original text as can be seen in this test page.
Put the snippet box off somewhere where it won't overlap on any other element. It is invisible on the web page and in iWeb until you click on it. I had to do a Select All to find it just now to get the code.
