The browser only shows the viewname of the form?

Hey,
i'm working with the SAP NW2004s Developer Workplace SR2 Preview. Installed Adobe Reader 7.0.9 and xACF NW04S SP13 related to the SAP Note 766191.
I created a form which actually has no functionality so far, cause i wanted to see if the system works fine. I just created some context nodes and put them into the form.
First, i had problems with the credentials, but this is solved.
Now, the browser<b> only shows the viewname</b> of my form, but no PDF. DeveloperStudio hasn't thrown any errors.
Can you help?
thanks,
Thorben

Hi Thorben,
Have you checked if ADS is configured correctly. To do so type the following in the browser.
http://<server>:<port>/AdobeDocumentServices/Config
Select Test
Select rpData
Without entering any parameters, Click Send.
Provide the ADSUser username and Password and click Submit.
If the config is correct you will receive the Version info . Ignore the string " "PDFDocument" not found or it is empty."
If you don't receive the version info, you willl have to do the configuration again.
If the configuration is correct, Make sure that Active X is enabled in the browser settings.
In addition, check out the following thread
Adobe form is not displayed
Hope this helps.

  • Share Media Browser - only shows Tiny, or Mobile size, the rest are grayed

I'm helping a teacher with a movie in iMovie 09. It has all the latest patches. When I tried to use Share>Media Browser - only shows Tiny, or Mobile size, the rest of the larger sizes are grayed out.
Of course, I tried Mobile and it was pixelated when displayed at a larger size.
I'm not sure why this is. Can anyone help?

When you say what size is the source video, what do you mean, and how would I check that size?
I've just encoded the video in iMovie, into iTunes as size "mobile". The resulting file size is 27.8 MB. In iTunes, the info shows the codec as being H.264.

  • "Preview in Browser" only shows slices

I'm been working on a mutli-page website mockup. When I add slices to my design and then select "Preview in Browser" ONLY the slices are showing up. Only when I delete the slices can I preview my whole design.
Ideas? For the life of me, can't seem to figure this out.
    I use Fireworks CS6.  Thanks!

Try going to File > HTML Setup. Within the Document Specific category, be sure that "Include areas without slice objects" has been checked.

  • Browser Only Shows 35 Rows per Page

I have a Business Exploder query that I display on the web.  However, it only shows 35 pages at a time.  Can I increase this to all rows?  I don't see an option in the query properties, and I don't have access to any stylesheets.
    Thanks.

For table web item, set the specific property - "Number of Data Rows displayed" to 0 (zero) This will show all of the records returned.
But be careful about large number of rows as browser will go for a spin. It does not stops as excel does for 6000 rows.

  • After OEM10g Install, browser only shows 5 squares

    Hi everyone,
I had a 10.2 database that was already running on a test server. This morning I installed OEM 10g on that server, during the install, I chose the option to install OEM Grid Control using an existing database. I gave it the connection info to the existing database, and the install proceeded without errors. At the end, it gave me the URL to start using, but when I go to that URL in a browser (http://servername:1159/em), all I see is a blank page with 5 squares:
Any thoughts what the problem might be here? This is on a Windows 2003 server.
    Thanks!!

I had logged a TAR with Oracle for this issue, and I just got back their canned, usual response: "your version is not supported."
I had already installed a 10.2.0.1.0 database, so I was trying to get OEM Grid Control to work using this database as it's repository. The reply in the TAR said:
    "Grid Control 10.2.0.1.0
    Repository Database 10.2.0.1.0
+ Please note that you have installed the Grid Control's repository 10.2.0.1.0 in a uncertified database version.
+ As per Note:344852.1, the certified database versions for the repository are as below:
9.2.0.6 and higher, 9.2.0.6 RAC and higher, 10.1.0.4 and higher, 10.1.0.4 RAC and higher
+ 10.1.0.4 and higher, 10.1.0.4 RAC and higher refers to the 10.1.x.x.x and not to 10.2.x.x.x
10.2.x.x.x is not still certified and is only planned.
+ Install the Grid Control's repository in a certified database version as above and let me know the results."
I understand this is what they have to say, but I would have to think there are people out there running OEM Grid Control using a 10.2 database for the repository?? Anyone out there doing that?
Either way, I'm going to go ahead and uninstall everything, then do it again from scratch.

  • I have deleted my photos but have icloud. when i log into icloud it doesnt give me an option to view these photos at all. my photo stream is only showing photos from another iphone in the house. i am unsure if i do a restore from back up if this will work

I have deleted my photos but have icloud. when i log into icloud it doesnt give me an option to view these photos at all. my photo stream is only showing photos from another iphone in the house. i am unsure if i do a restore from back up if this will work. i really dont want to lose these photos but i am very unsure of what to do to resolve. can anyone please help?
    thank you

If you had Photo Stream enabled with your iCloud account settings on the iPhone, photos in the Camera Roll should have been transferred to your photo steam automatically when the iPhone was connected to an available wi-fi network.
Your photo stream is not available when logging in with your iCloud account with a browser on a computer.
Why were the photos in the Camera Roll deleted?
Photos/videos in the camera roll are included with your iPhones backup. If your iPhone's backup has not been updated since the photos were deleted from the camera roll, you can try restoring your iPhone from the backup.

I am also having problems with a site I am building. No matter what websafe font I use it displays as New Times Roman in FireFox. The correct fonts show in both IE9 and Chrome.
In addition, text shifts in FireFox. I have to position other text objects farther and farther apart as I go down the page or they start to overlap. Nav buttons and other images also have to be positioned in the wrong place for them to be in the correct place when the page is opened in FireFox. FireFox should display pages correctly by default. I can't expect th average user to have to tweek his/her settings to display my site.
I have been recommending FireFox on my website as the best browser. I might have to change that and abandon FireFox myself.

Itunes doesn't list all of my recent podcasts. My show is Black Tribbles and it only shows episodes through March 2013, however we do at least two shows a week and they aren't listed. The feed works because the show update to my computer. Help please.

    Your feed is at http://blacktribbles.podomatic.com/rss2.xml
When subscribed to in iTunes the recent episodes show, but the Store hasn't updated for some time.
There appears to be an issue with the feed. In the episode 'WRESTLING MARCH MADNESS: Final Bracket & Championship' of 31st March you will find in the 'description' tag the following line:
    4. KURT ANGLE
At the end of this line is an invisible character which seems to be wrecking the feed - although it works OK when suscribing in iTunes it won't load in a browser (and I also found the feed very slow to load, which won't help matters with the Store)
This sort of thing usually happens when you paste text in from a word processing application and manage to include one of the invisible control characters. I don't know how easy it will be do do it in Podomatic but you should delete that entire line and retype it to remove this charter.
You should keep an eye on the time it takes the feed to be accessed - if there is a long enough delay (and it was quite some seconds when I tried) the Store may well timeout and fail to read it. At the moment it's showing a cached version from the last time it was able to read it.

    Solved.
    I had to enable KMS

    and remove my xorg.conf file.

  • Why can I create a new folder in the catalog but it only shows up in windows not the catalog

Why can I create a new folder in the catalog but it only shows up in windows not the catalog

Not sure I understand the question but it could be because you meant to say "can't" somewhere in the sentence.  anyway, just guessing here:
    Try going to:
    File >> Watch folders
Now you can Add new folders here that you see them in Windows.  The word ADD is a button to browse for the folders and hopefully this will solve the problem you are having.

How can you shrink the size of an upright picture to make it smaller without losing any of the detail in it (in Slideshow)??? At the moment, if I view them on my Mac Laptop, landscape photos fill the screen, but portrait photos only show the middle part, so I loose the top and bottom of the picture.  Have tried cropping, but that means I lose top and bottom part of the picture, so that is not the answer!!

Homestly haven't a clue what's going on there.
Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
    What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

Is this to reduce the clutter of suggestions on the address bar, or for some other reason?
You can change the address bar drop-down so it only suggest bookmarked sites instead of everything in your history. This article describes how to make that change: [[Awesome Bar - Find your bookmarks, history and tabs when you type in the address bar]] (see the section "How can I control what results the location bar shows me?").
Am I on the right track?
(I'm avoiding the really hard question of how to selectively cull your history. I can't think of a way to do that.)

  • The profile manager only shows my new profile. How do I switch back to my default profile?

I just made a new profile to use exclusively with an alternate version of Firefox. My regular version accidentally opened this new profile, so I tried using profile manager to set it back to the default. However, the profile manager is only showing my new profile. /appdata/roaming/mozilla/firefox/profiles shows that I still have my default and my new profile. Putting -P "default" in the target line just opens up profile manager. How do I switch back to my default profile or get it to show up in profile manager?

When a profile doesn't show in the Profile Manager then you can register this profile by using the Profile Manager to create a new profile.
You can click the "Choose Folder" button to make Firefox recognize and use an already existing profile.
It is best to create a desktop shortcut that selects a specific profile (-P "profile_name") to avoid opening a profile with the wrong Firefox version.<br />
Make sure to select the profile for the default browser in the Profile Manager, so that is used when you click a link in an external program.

You can use the -no-remote command line switch to open another Firefox instance with its own profile and run multiple Firefox instances simultaneously.

  • Building a page that only shows up once for the same user...

I've been asked to create a page that only shows up once for a user.  This page is to include a form that the user fills out, but once the user has filled it out, they wouldn't see the page pop up ever again.  Does anyone know the best way to do this?
I was told to build an ip logger that checks the database for ip addresses and only shows the page if the ip address is unique.  That might be way beyond my ability.  Is there a program out there that I could possibly use?
My client wants this done asap, so any help would be much appreciated...
    Thanks in advance!

Some limitations of cookies are that user needs to enable cookies, cookies expire, cookies can be deleted by the client, and they're dependent on the machine/browser that the cookie was set to. Basically, by using cookies, you as a developer do not have any control over the presentation of the data for the visitor because the visitor can manipulate how the data is presented.
That means if more than one person shares the same browser on the same computer then after user 1 visits the page and sets the cookie then users 2,3,4 or whatever will not see the landing page that was intended for a first time visitor since user 1 already set the cookie. Once cookie expires the script will not see a valid cookie so the landing page will display once again. If cookies are disabled on the browser then a cookie will never be set and the landing page will always display. If cookies are enabled on the browser and cookie is set by a user then later the user deletes the cookie from their browser then the landing page will display.
Cookies can be set and checked using javascript or server side scripting. There's plenty of information on the limitations of cookies and how to set and check for set cookies if you search online for php cookies, javascript cookies, etc. or visit http://www.w3schools.com/PHP/php_cookies.asp
Control of your data from a database is the best method of development. If you do not have a registration system currently developed and it's imperative for each individual user to complete the form before continuing on to the site, then the form you speak of *IS* the registration form and should be developed with a database. What information does the user have to complete on this form?
Sometimes there are situations where you do not want to force a signup/login for the user to access a page, yet you still want to control data to some extent. In these scenarios the use of cookies is the only reasonable alternative, which is arguably better than using an IP method. It really all depends on the circumstances that are being considered. Personally I don't think this situation is well suited for cookies or IP use. Based off the information provided I believe this should be developed using a database and server side scripting. It also depends on the importance of the page that is being displayed after the landing page and the importance of the data retrieved from the submitted form on the landing page. If it's of low importance then go with a compromised method such as cookies or IP. If the data is important then use a database.

When you click to play the game, the window shrinks down and when you expand it the writing isn't there it only shows the small part that does open. Most of the games can't be played this way, you can't read the chat or access most of the buttons!!! It is just the newest version of Firefox because it works fine on my other computer that hasn't been updated and it also works fine in IE.
