The calendar - weekly view for the iPhone

Doesn't really have a question but rather a wish for Apple. I'm using my iPhone 4S for everything but find the calendar a but unsatisfying. Please give me the option to see the calendar on a weekly view and not only daily/monthly/list.

Dear Apple - as the day that the week starts on can depend on country and religion - how about making it an option that the user can change????

I believe the week view on the iPhone is handled by the Region settings in the phone. I am not aware of any other manner to change it, as you can with Outlook.

It seems to be available on the iPad, but missing on the iPhone, even though both are running iOS 7. Just one more unexplainable "feature" of iOS 7, I guess.
....... I stand corrected. I restarted the iPhone and it is indeed there, just like my iPad.

Following a previous thread - Trying to modify the weekly calendar view CSS - I would really appreciate if someone from the development team will publish a skeleton template for the calendar weekly view so will be able to modify it to our needs. I spent a lot of time on it and I'm not getting anywhere.

Show more hours in calendar week view!?

How do I show more hours in the calendar week view?
In iOS 6 I could see 10 hours, but in iOS 7 I can only see 8 hours. This might nit seem like a big deal, but it's extremely annoying!
And why can I not alter how many hrs I want to see in the preferences...?

You can turn your iPad to portrait mode but that only gets you 4 more hours. Beyond that I don't think there is a way to increase hours shown.

Delete the warehouse management view archive the materials before deleting

I have requirement like this where I need to delete the warehouse management view from about 40k records
also need to archive the materials in order for the views to truly be deleted, instead of just marked for deletion.

in this way which I described you will delete the warehouse managment view for the material ( after that your material will no longer exist for that warehouse management organization data, but the other organization data for the material will exist). It's depend on where you are going to set the deletion flag for the material in MM06 before Archiving/Deletion with MM71

Calendar weekly view: unwanted nonbreaking spaces before the column link

I have a column link in a calendar. In the weekly view, before the link text appears (specifically before the anchor element) multiple nonbreaking spaces are output. The more links I add to the calendar, the more spaces appear, so the links are all over the place in the cells. The HTML looks like
td class="DefDay" valign="top" ... multiple-nbsp-tags-here ... anchor-element ... link-text

Thanks for your quick reply. I have mailed you a screenshot of the corruption I am talking about. The whole page template is "application default". In the "Calendar Attributes" tab in that region, I have three options in the template combo-box: calendar, calendar alternative 1, and small calendar. None of those options have any effect on the column link display corruption. In the "Region Definition" tab. the user interface template is "reports region". I have tried a number of different templates there and none affect the corruption in the column-link display either. I'm using Theme "Modern Blue 20" and the template utilization screen off Shared Components says my calendar page is using a calendar template.

Can anyone recommend a good Mac Calendar, Contact program for the iPhone. The one intalled is hopelessly inadequate and inefficient. 2 Main problems- The current iCal + Contacts programs do not link to each other. And there is no To Do List!
Palm and MS Outlook had those features 6 years ago! Whats up with Apple?!!

ical does have a to do list in it. either click the little pin under the calendar, or click show to do list in the view menu.
i don't know much purpose behind needing to link ical and address book (not that i'm saying it isn't important at all - you obviously have some type of need for it). but it's got to be possible somehow, because you can set ical to make a calendar of birthdays from your address book contacts (in the main preference pane for the application).
plus, i doubt there'd be another mac calendar application you'd be able to sync with your iphone, unless whoever developed it developed an iphone app to sync it with. probably wouldn't sync with your contacts/calendar apps that come with the iphone.

Do not show dots for 'free' events in the calendar month view

I wish I could.... not show dots for 'free' events in the calendar month view. For an overview of when I have hard-scheduled events in the calendar it's pretty tedious and slow to go day -by day, and other views... Instead the dot in the month view... - why does it show even "free" events? Any ideas, tips?

If you are getting a voicemail password prompt, that usually means you have a voicemail. In order to hear it you will need to enter the passcode, it only needs to be entered once.
To reset your passcode, call your service provider.

Yes, start with deleting your account on his device:
(Settings > iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Your Account)
In the next step, create a new account on his device:

Hiding custom column in Weekly view of the Time Entry in ESS

We have added a custom field to time entry (CAT2). This field is displaying in both (weekly and daily) view of the time entry screen in ESS. Our requirement is too display the field only in daily view.
Is there a way to hide the custom column in the weekly view of the time sheet in ESS?

well it would require modification to the iview , it wont be a easy quickfix cause you lauch the iview it is built using CAC2 field customisation

I also have not figured out how to mirrow either. I ask you both, is the sound via the projector louder than the phone itself when projector is tuerned off? No matter what I do the max vilume through the projector speakers is lower that the phone itself even with phone remaining installed in projector. I am think of taking it back to try another one.

Calendar problem : actualMinimum for the WEEK_OF_MONTH field

May 1st, 2006 falls on a Monday. In my country, Monday is the first day of the week. So when I get the actualMinimum for the WEEK_OF_MONTH field (the Calendar's time being set to some day within May, 2006), I expect to get '1'. However I get '0', although the 0st week of May is in fact entirelly in April. Is it the normal behaviour?
