The call menu went missing in my unlocked Treo 65

I am using an unlocked Treo 65o since 2007 without any issue. However, yesterday I was trying to purge the recent call log and the phone hanged and could not do anything. So I moved the battery out and restarted the PDA. I noticed the call menu was no more visible. I have lost the call menu and now i can not make any calls even if I selected a nbr thru Contacts in application menu. Now I could not recieve an incoming call. When I accept the call the PDA re-boots. Can any one help me solve this.. I miss my Treo 650 and can not make or receive any calls now

Have you installed any 3rd party programs on the Treo? If it is incompatible, it can cause problems on the Treo.
If all your data is on the PC, You can try a hard reset to resolve the issue. The hard reset will erase all data on the device. Make sure you sync to the PC to backup your data.

Hi lenm,
To extract pages, you need to use Acrobat (not Adobe Reader). As I can attest (because I do have both Reader and Acrobat installed on the same computer), it is quite easy to open files in Reader when you mean to open then in Acrobat. So, please make sure you have the right app open. (I pull this one all the time!)
Now, if the Tools menu is missing from Acrobat, choose View > Show/Hide > Toolbar Items > Show Toolbars to make them reappear.

Missing menu items in the 'File' menu? Missing 'Place..' option?

Hello there!
I use photoshop everyday to edit pictures and thumbnails for Youtube and videos, but recently I've noticed that the 'Place' option from the File Menu has gone missing? I've checked to see if I might have accidentally hidden the visibility of 'Place' within the File Menu, but it doesn't even appear in the Hidden Menu settings? I have no idea how this happened, but I think it may be a plugin issue, because I cannot find one trace of it within the Photoshop application! Any help would be fantastic!

I want to see the calls received, dialed, missed separately

I have iphone4, I want to see the dialed , received, missed calls separetely, similar for messages, i want to see it as a list with received and sent seperately. there is no option in settings to do this, which is a normal feature for all phones

Yes, there is no option for that like on normal phones, maybe iphone not a normal phone.

Select language in inner menu, expand to the caller menu

Hi! I'm stuck in this very simple application of internationalization, I just need the end user to select the language of a menu I show him. So I have a menu (the Menus class posted here) with some items (FILE, HELP,etc) when you click FILE, then CONFIGURATION it shows a selection panel (the Selector class posted here) where the user selects the language he wants to display this menu.
In the selection panel there's a label which changes when the user selects a language in the combo box and clicks the button. This works fine.
But now I need also the Menus class items to be changed when the end user clicks the button. So the inner class must change the outer class and I'm stuck there.
Do I have to declare in the Selector class all the Strings that appear in the Menus class to do that?
Do I have to set the text of all the items that appear in the Menus class in the if then elseif sentence of the Selector class?

There are two ways to get this: (1) Hold the back button until the menu appears (2) Right click the back button. See the screenshot below for reference.

Getting the caller id pictures to be larger on Treo Pro??

I have a palm treo pro, and i when i assign a picture to a contacts information, the picture will come up when they call, but it is also a quarter inch by a quarter inch big. Does anyone know how to change that and maybe make it a full screen picture or at least big enough to see. Thanks

Sorry, there isn't a way to change the picture size for caller ID by default. There are some 3rd party shell application that will do this.

How do I get rid of the number next to the "phone" icon for missed calls on iPhone 4?

I realize that this number is telling me the number of missed calls and/or voicemails. However, the number remains on the main screen after I have looked at the missed call (opened "phone" and then "missed"). I can only figure out how to get it to go away when I call the number of the missed call from the missed call menu, which I don't always want to do. How can I make the number go away without calling the number for the call that I missed? It's probably a silly question but thanks for helping!

I have same issue I dont want to call it and why should I have to go to Voicemail when there is no voicemail?? My screen did go dark and when I relit it it went away...very weird???

Missed calls from my iPhone keep ringing on my Mac, even after the caller hung up.

I have a MBP mid-2012 and an iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1.2.
I have no problem answering or initiating phone calls from my Mac with Continuity. The only problem is when I miss a phone call: the Mac can keep ringing long minutes after the caller on the other side hung up and the call is marked "missed" on the phone. Trying to answer from the Mac at this point will have no result, off course.
I don't have a voice mail box on this line (no need for it, IMO, when there is texting...)
Is this a bug? Or maybe a feature I can set/override?

In your first post you mention you have done a reset and a restore. Those are the last two processes in the user troubleshooting. If those do not work, then the last thing is to go to the Genius Bar. You say you went to Apple and they opened the phone and re-seated the connectors? That sounds unusual, because if there was a hardware issue,they would replace the hardware. You say you cannot get a replacement, is that because you are out of warranty? An out of warranty replacement is only $199 plus tax. It seems to me since you mention the fact you need to press hard to get the screen to react there is something going on with the hardware. If this problem has been going on for over a year, have you been reporting this to Apple. You say you cannot get a replacement and you are on the second phone, I wonder why they are denying you a replacement. Is there something you are not telling us??

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Or if that doesn't work, quit FaceTime completely and restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

My horizontal scroll bar went missing when I maximise the window. How do I fix them? I tried everything; such as auto hide the task bar. Even with this, I still can't see the horizontal scroll bar. I even tried the following and I still can't see the horizontal scroll bar.
1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste dom and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the dom.disable_window_open_feature.scrollbars preference to switch it from false to true. By choosing true, you disable sites from deciding whether there can be scrollbars on a window, and Firefox uses its standard behavior for the page.
If you want to always get other bars, here are the corresponding settings:
Menu Bar: dom.disable_window_open_feature.menubar
Navigation Toolbar: dom.disable_window_open_feature.toolbar
Bookmarks Toolbar: dom.disable_window_open_feature.personalbar

After a recent update, the Bookmarks menu has an extra folder called "All Bookmarks" which appears to be a copy of the bookmarks. It is causing problems and how do I fix it?

I recently updated Firefox. The Bookmarks menu shows a new menu item called "All Bookmarks". It appears to be a copy of the bookmarks. When I try to add a new bookmark, the All Bookmarks folder is the only one shown in the dialog. I tried deleting the All Bookmarks folder, but then nothing is shown in the dialog when I try to add a new bookmark.
If I do add a new bookmark, it is put under the All Bookmarks folder and does not show up under the top-level item I want it under. Any ideas about what I can do to fix this.
The update went normally without my intervention.

I was able to fix the problem after following the bookmark backup and restore procedures on the following page:

I also had to restart Firefox so that the "Bookmark This Page" dialog would show the normal bookmarks.
