The Calling URL landing in Home page

Dear all,
We have used a Webdynpro application (via trx launcher) in the CRM 7.0. From this WD application, I am calling the URL of the Quotation document directly , which will open in the new window...direct to Quotation overview screen.
The URL format which i am using is as below:
https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxx/sap/crm_logon/default.htm?crm-object-type=BT116_SRVO&crm-object-action=B&crm-object-value=001CC4AB6D5C1ED09F8EC78377544A5E&crm-object-keyname=OBJECT_ID&saprole=xxxxxxxx
But it just opens the Home page, instead of Quotation overview screen.....
Please help.

Its not always going to home page.. out of 10 times 3 to 4 times it is going to home page...

Do those entries have a yellow star at the far right?
If they have then they are bookmarks. You can remove them if you open that link and click the star to open the Edit This Bookmark dialog and click the Remove button in that dialog.

I'm unable to correct a wrong url for my home page in Firefox

I'm unable to correct a wrong url for my home page and have to manually use a separate bookmark that works once the home page loads. I use 3 url's total for the home page and the other 2 load properly.
I've searched for the incorrect url and find it in 'about:config at browser.startup.homepage'. I've made the correction to the url but it does not seem to save when I close out of about:config.
I've reset the home page under Tools and Options many, many times and it still doesn't change what is in
'about:config at browser.startup.homepage
I have been able to save the bookmark with the correct url in other folders.
I've had this problem for quite awhile, at least 8 months or so and keep FF up to date, currently using V33.0.2 and Win7 Home Premium SP1

I changed the pref.js file and that fixed the problem. thanks to those who responded to this question and for the quick replies. jjg18

How do I get new pages in new tabs to automatically go the same setting as my home page? Google is my home page, and I want the opening in new tabs to default to Google also.

Whenever I open a new tab, I want the new page to open to the same setting as my Home Page (in my case, Google). Instead it takes me to Bing. Even my Home Page reverts to Bing after I've set it to Google.

The default New Tab in Firefox is a blank page and there is no built-in option to change that.

Here are the solutions I can think of (if no one here responds with something better):
1. Open Settings and then Phone within the Settings screen and see if you can find a setting there for the call summary. The Phone submenu under Settings would be the most likely place.
2. Open Settings on your iPhone and go through each item including all of the items within each main item. Within about 10 minutes you should be able to get through all of the settings and find the setting if it exists on your phone. There is no such setting on my phone but it is possible that Airtel has a custom menu with that.
3. If you still haven't found it, you could check a) Airtel's support site and/or b) an Airtel specific forum.
4. If still no luck, I would call Airtel and ask again and if you get the same response ask for the location of the setting (or to speak to someone who can tell you).

Tap and hold an icon. It will bring a menu drop down and bring the icon to remove.

2 Similar URL iViews on Home Page

We have 2 URL iViews on the home page of the EP that call an external Java Based Application. Both these iViews call the same URL but with different parameters. Sometimes when the home page is loaded for the first time both these iViews have the same data. This problem goes away as soon as the EP is refreshed by clicking on the refresh button of the Internet Explorer.
Does any one has any idea or has encountered the similar problem.

Maybe try to change the cache settings for the iViews and/or the page they are on. Also see if changing the iViews load method (embedded or URL) makes any difference.

I can't get Google (word & icon) to load in the search bar on my home page. How can I fix this?

Starting a few weeks ago every time I load my home page in Firefox (v20) the search bar, next to the right side of the address bar, comes up what I call blank. It's just a small blank sheet of paper with the upper corner turned down. What should be in that search box is the icon and word "Google". When the icon and the word Google doesn't load I can't type any web address in the address bar and change to that web site. Also, when I bring down the menu of previous web addresses from the address bar and click (highlight) one of them nothing happens either. I have tried about everything I can find on this or that I can think of and so far nothing has worked. Once in a while I might get the Google icon & word to come up like it's supposed to in the search bar but it won't stay. It might last the rest of a given evening but the next time I bring up my home page it's gone. I really NEED help on this.

Try to use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).

The screen page for creating a new Firefox Home page always shows up first when I sign on.....but, I already have a Home page and have to click again to get there.

Alos, please sign up at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" using your Adobe ID credentials. Click on 'ExportPDF' tab and upload the PDF that you want to convert to Word.

I inadvertently deleted the the small window in the top bar. My home page is cnn but the small window had google. How can I put it back?

If you right-click a toolbar item in normal (non-customize) mode then you can (re)move an item.
* "Remove from Toolbar" will remove this item from the Navigation Toolbar and moves it to the Customize palette ("3-bar" Firefox menu button > Customize)
* "Move to Menu" will move this item to the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list
* "Move to Toolbar" in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list will move this item to the toolbar
Note that the search bar has changed in Firefox 34 and now only shows a generic search icon and no longer a specific search engine icon and name.
