The cart on the retail website is not adding new items to the cart. The items in the cart are replaced by new items added
The cart was not being updated. Firefox recommended all history for this website be cleared. All History was cleared. It resolved the problem of adding items to the cart. But now there is a new problem. The item in the cart is being replaced by new items ordered. So the cart has only ONE (The latest item ordered) in the cart. How can I resolve this issue?

Does it matter if the lightning cable is plugged in but not connected to an electrical outlet? Will this drain the ipad battery? We use an ipad cart at school, and some of the teachers will connect all the ipads up to the cart, but then neglect to power up the cart. The laptop with the cart has already had the battery wrecked because of this (within a two month period), and I am concerned the ipads may have an issue if this continues to happen. I need some reassurance before I make the other teachers paranoid!
ok this one is kind in the gray area for me. I say if it is plugged in to a power up cart but not plugged in to a outlet, then all is is doing is not charing, and of course lossing a charge over time in standby, not really causing any issues. User guide and apple sites say it will drain the battery life.
Important: The iPad battery may drain instead of charge if iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, to a USB hub, or to the USB port on a keyboard.
however “Battery life” means the time your iPad will run before it must be recharged.
so I think it will be ok, as long as you charge it as usaul it should be fine.

I bought my macbook pro on August 2011 at an apple store, with the Intel i7. However mirrorring in not working with two of my Apple TVs. These Apple TVs are 2nd and 3rd generation loaded with the latest software. I can succesfully transmit from my itunes on my Macbook pro to both Apple TVs, but I can not see the airplay icon on the taskbar. Can someone help?

I just got an IPAD2 on Saturday. With the Mac, I could always tell when programs were open/running by going to the menu bar. How can I tell what programs are running in the background. I am struggling with not being able to go to a menu bar at the top
You can see which apps are open and/or recently used by double-clicking the home button to bring up the taskbar at the bottom of the screen (not all apps that appear there are active) - you can then close apps on it by pressing and holding one of them for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar. If you have an app 'open' on-screen then it won't appear on the taskbar, you will need to go back to the homescreen first, and it should then show when you next open the taskbar.

Hi,
We changed the iCloud account on the Mac Book and now we can not use some part of iCloud like Documents, etc on the Mac book to sync to iPad.
It says it is not the principal account.

Sorry I can't help you. I just wanted to let you know I have the same exact problem. It started three days ago and I've been going back and forth with creative support and nothing has worked. I am beginning to grow really distressed. I feel a little better now because after seeing that it's happening with someone else, it is most likely not the player. I am running windows 98 SE as well. I also have an AMD Duron processor. I have a new computer on the way with windows XP I really hope it works. But now I have a new problem. I listed it on the front page of this forum a few minutes ago. My player froze and now only boots up in rescue mode. I am getting so frustrated with my player. If you figure anything out will you be as kind as to send me a message on how you got your player working again? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I . like everyone else, have been in search of an iphone6 and i d rather not order it online, my nearest verizon store is a couple of miles away and i don't drive, Every time i call they tell me they "cant discuss inventory over the phone". All i need to know is whether they have them in stock or not.so Im not making another wasted trip out of my way on foot to be told they don't. I've been into the store 4 of the past 6 days and they always just tell me to "come back tomorrow" , staunchly refusing to give me any information over the phone..

I understand that the new iphones are selling quickly and if they were to tell me over the phone that they in fact had them, it is no guarantee that they will still be there an hour later. However every time I've gone in they've been completely out , and if they were to tell me this over the phone it would save me the hour it takes me to get there on foot. Ive called other stores and theyve had no problem telling me exactly what they have in stock, as well as your own customer service reps telling me that this in fact is not corporate policy. Ive explained all of this to the store as politely as possible the only options theyve given me are to physically come into the store to check or to order it online, which id rather not do. -

I update recently my OS to Yosemite and decided to use Safari again as my web browser (I was using Chrome). Some of the sites I need to access for professional reasons are not available with safari. I receive the message: "403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.". I believe there is a pattern here, they are all sites publish with IIS with SSL and build with ASP.NET.
I can access them with Chrome (on OS X) or with Internet Explorer (with my Windows VMs).
I've already cleared all saved passwords, cookies, history, etc...the problem remains. I'm sure this is a known problem, but all the answers I've found on the internet were for things like DNS and unavailability of the site. The sites are working fine and I can access them with Chrome.
Can anybody help me? An explanation would also be nice :-) Something to do with Microsoft Authentication methods ?
Thanks,Some websites require a special client certficate for access. If you don't have that certficate, you'll have to contact the site operator to find out how to get one.
Sometimes the problem is caused by a web server that is configured to request an optional client certificate. Safari treats the request as mandatory. In that case, other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome may be able to connect to the site, because they ignore the request.
The first time you were prompted for a certificate, you may have clicked through a dialog that requested access to the Apple certificate in your keychain that is used to secure the iMessage service. In that case, you may be able to regain access to the site in Safari by doing as follows.

Double-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:

Previously I had a blackberry, if I wanted to add a song, all i had to to was drop and drag it to the device. Is there a way to just ADD a song and not have to sync the whole library? My daughter and husband and I all share music, but I don't want ALL his music on my phone, just some of the songs, and my daughter likes some of mine and some of his... you get the idea.... how do I just ADD songs without syncing the whole catealoge of music?

now today is the day I've finally received my replacement board. The good news first - it DOES work! Yepeeee!
Now some more information:
The jmicron controller seems to be missing - a screen with something about "Marvel" is shown before the intel raid screen. However, it is only visible for a fraction of second, so I cannot read it. I think it detects my IDE DVD-RW so I'm quite certain it's the replacement for jmicron. I won't miss it - it took me ages to install Linux with the jmicron controller.
The problem where I had to restart the computer sometimes because it didn't even post (RAM error) is gone. It boots just fine now.
I had an extremely long first post - about a minute, but after that it boots very fast now.
anyway, regarding some questions around here - the manual states MSI recommends using an 350W power supply. My 400W is more than enough. Please note - it is an Enermax, not one bundled with a cheap case. My cheap RAM sticks also work very well now. I did try them on different boards before, so now I know I just had a faulty board.
In the end, I can only say this: This is my 3rd board already and it's the first one that works well. As the hardware changed, I presume there were major issues with this board that lead them to make a new revision. What is strange, though, is that the revision is still 1.1, as were my previous two. I pity everybody who had the same problems as I did, but I can now say that I'm very happy about the board now.

When I open the window, I can see the place to sign in; but, where the logo and images (at the top and at the left) must be appear, two separated "Untrusted Connection" certificates appear. But, as the bottom of them isn't visible, I can't make click in "I Understand the Risks". Is there a keyboard shortcut or a way to avoid that certificates?
Check the date and time in the clock on your computer: (double) click the clock icon on the Windows Taskbar.

Rename the file cert8.db to cert8.db.old in the Firefox Profile Folder to remove all intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored by visiting secure websites.<br />
If that helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed file cert8.db.old unless you have user certificates that you may want to export first and import them in the new file.<br />
Otherwise you can restore the certificates by renaming (copying) the file back to cert8.db<br />
Firefox will automatically store new intermediate certificates when you visit websites that send them.<br /> -
i used to hold down alt whilst draging the movie into the menu at the left side of itunes now that menu is no longer there
the movie file now shows up in home videos within the movie folder so all my movies are in the movie file in itunes except the new ones now go into movie/home video itunes since i updated itunes
As implied above, if you do not use a metadata tagging utility and share or import your files directly to iTunes the new files are automatically tagged as "Home Videos" during the import process but you can still use iTunes to make them appear in the same directory as your other movies just as you always could chage their display directory. Simply...
1) select the "Movies/Home Videos" tab in the main window,
2) select any/all of the videos you want moved,
3) select the "File/Get Info" menu option (or press "Command-I") to open the "Information" window,
4) select the "Options" tab in the "Information" window
5) Select the "Movie" option in the "Video Kind" pop-up, and
6) Press the "OK" button to move all items selected in step #2 above to your "Movie" directory and close the "Information" window.
If you use a metadata tagging utility to add tags to your videos before import to iTunes, then pre-assign the "Movie" Media Kind tag to your files before import to iTunes. If you use a metadata tagging utility to tag files after import to iTunes, then manually set the "Movie" Media Kind option in that app and let it update the iTunes "Movie" directory. If the metadata tagging utility has not yet been updated to recognized files pre-assigned to the "Home Videos" directory, then manually tag the Media Kind in iTunes as described above before using the metadata tagging utility. If you don't like having iTunes automatically assign the "Home Videos" tag to untagged videos during import, then use the iTunes Product Feedback form to request an iTunes "Preference" enhancement option be added to the application allowing users to select a default "Media Kind" to be assigned to "untagged" video files during import. -
I have an older model iPhone 3GS. This morning I awoke to a screen that shows the iTunes logo with a USB cord underneath. The AT&T IT person says that I need to do a reset through the iTunes website but I cant find where I need to be. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

When opening a 1-page PDF in iBooks and sending it via mail it is sent inline as preview, but the recipient cannot open the file anymore. Also on iPad and iPhone there is no "open in" possible.
Somehow the mail app does destroy the file. What is going wrong?
