ok here s the deal . i had the same problem for like 4 days and it wuz only yesterday it got resolved ..
leave it to the apple techies .. they re working on it behind . server error in ur country's app store s the reason ur categories section wont load .. so wait for a few days and it ll get resolved by itself ..

You're using 10.7 but Rosetta is no longer available on that build. So you can't get PowerPC emulation to run anymore. Sorry but that's been stripped out.
But I am puzzled as to why this would prevent Mac App Store from loading.

Does it usually take forever for the app store to load on the ipad2?

I just bought my ipad2 and I'm trying to access the app store but it takes a very long time to load. Is this normal? At first I thought it was just my Wi-Fi connection, but I can access safari, mails, etc in seconds but not the app store.

If it is brand new - purchased in the last two weeks - I would certainly take it back and ask about it. Your warranty against manufacturer's defects is good for one year. If you bought it at an Apple Store you could make an appointment at the Genius Bar as well.
Why you have no problems other than accessing the App Store is kind of strange. It may not hurt to call Apple support. You get 90 days of free technical support. This seems like a technical question to me.

Why is the app store not loading!?

I'm geniunly p!$$ed off. The App store loads half way and then stops.. Ugh, whats wrong with it? This didn't happen untill i downloaded that stupid update. I knew it. I just KNEW i shouldn't have downloaded it. All of the new updates for my ipod touch requires wifi, and I don't even have wifi, so it's useless. I should have listened to myself.... And then this dumb website literally moves SO slow.. It takes like a minute for the flippen page to load. Ugh, can someone please help me fix it? The app store, i mean.

Can't connect to the iTunes Store
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Why doesn't the App Store connect/load on my MacBook Pro lately?

For a few months, now, I haven't been able to connect to/load the App Store on my MacBook Pro. All I get is the spinning wheel of death and an error message. Any suggestions/fixes?
MacBook Pro 17", 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 256 MB, OS X 10.9.4 (13E28).

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

App store wont load on Iphone 3g

Hi all,
Is anyone else having problems getting in to the App store and itunes through there Iphone?
Mine opens up but then just stays on the loading page for as long as i leave it open. All my downloaded apps are still working and I can acess safari just not app store and itunes.
Anybody got any ideas.

HT3702 i owe money, and the app store wont let me download free apps, if i get more money in my account, will my card be active again and will it accpet the security code?

I owe money and the billing information is telling me that my security code is invalid. If i get money in my account, will i be able to put in my security code again and purchase apps and music again?

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill ? If it's not then that might be the reason that you are getting the security code error : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store

"Cannont Connect to the App Store"

Hi guys. I'm having an issue where The App store wont load at all. Its saying "Cannont Connect to the App Store"
I did delete it and then reinstalled but still says the same thing. I clicked on the Sign in at the top but it does nothing at all.
Does anyone have any idea?? Any help would be Greatlt appreciated!

We have read that any apps that use the google map app (removed by ios6) will not work. We have lost a great camping app for this reason, and have heard that some weather apps are not working either. The company line we've been given is it's up to the app developer to rewrite their apps. ***** doesn't it.

Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Why is the "App Store" App so user-unfriendly?

I like to add several Apps at a time (I like to try out all the "free apps" in a section). Why is it that the "App Store" App will only allow you to click on one app then reverts back to the home page where you have to go back to the "App Store" app, wait for the app store to load again and then back to the last page you were on before you can select your next app?
It would be much simpler to allow a list of apps to be "qued up" and then download when you close out of the app. It requires like 20 clicks back and forth to download 3 or 4 apps when you should be able to just stay in the app till you are done.

Iphoto won't update because i didn't "purchase" it from the app store- but it came on my computer summer '11

I bought an imac that came with Lion on it and all the usual mac apps. Now the app store wont let me update it until i purchase it? why would i need to purchase something i already own? Is there any way around this?

If you got disks with your system then you use software update to update. If you purchased the software from to app store or it came pre installed with no disks the you get updates via the app store under purchased software.

You need to free up more storage space. To download and install an app it take between two and three times the file download size. You need between 3.2 and 4.8 free.

Several things to try.
Apps such as Little Snitch, Growl, MacKeeper, and anti virus software, can prevent the App Store from loading
Disable anti virus software if installed
Check the firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall > Firewall Options
Make sure Gatekeeper is enabled
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Make sure either Mac App Store or Mac App Store and identified developers is selected.
If that area is grayed out, click the padlock icon to proceed.
