Try changing the batteries on the keyboard or see if the keyboard has some sort of reset available.

I recorded audio with Quicktime player and the sound files won't disappear from the desktop no matter how I try to put them in the trash...tried xing out the red x, putting them in the trash...right clicking to make them disappear...nothing works...
Just got rid of them... I closed Quicktime and was asked to delete. So I deleted them. Problem solved.

Running iTunes 11.0.3 64bit Windows 7. The "join Tracks" line has disappeared from the box that opens when you click "options" after inserting a CD. Only 2 lines show up: "Get track names" and "Submit CD Track names". Where did "Join Tracks" go?

With the settings changed on the iPhone4, why the iPad Air? I downloaded the apps to it. Then chose to delete them, which works. I just have to remember to delete them from iTunes12 eventually.

Please tell us what your computer shows for the contents of the two lines I've indicated with red arrows. The processor type will at least tell us to which of the four basic iMac families yours belongs. That's a start and can help you avoid getting advice that is not appropriate to your Mac model. -
The Touch ID symbol has disappeared off the Lock Screen of my iPhone 5S since upgrading to IOS 7.1. Is any one else experiencing this. Any recommendations for fixes? The finger scan in Settings seems to be working OK for me.

The "partially encrypted" icon is not orange (it is grey), however it is like the icon shown as "unencrypted" and when clicked on reflects the "partially encrypted message". I have spent hours trying to determine what the problem is. The "normal padlock" appears first (has always been grey), then immediately disappears and the triangle shaped icon is there. Any and all advice will be sincerely appreciated as I do not know if the site is secure or not (although it does show the "https" in the address.
I have used Firefox for more years than I can recall, and never encountered a problem like this.In case the problem is an old style sheet or script, or an obsolete cookie setting, try clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help? -

After creating an alias, the App Store application has disappeared from the Launchpad. Huh?!
So, I opened the Applications folder, then selected the App Store application and created an alias of it.
Now, when I activate the Launchpad the original app is nowhere to be found. The alias is there, but the application proper is not displayed.
It IS displayed (as well as the alias) in the Applications folder when I open that in the Finder.
I have no idea how to remedy this. Logging out and back in is fruitless. And a reboot makes no difference.

Interestingly, I just tried a similar thing with the Adobe Reader app...created an alias of the application in the Applications folder. The same thing happened. The Adobe application disappeared from the Launchpad, replaced by the working alias. The fix for that was to delete the alias from the Applications folder. Then copy the Adobe app onto the desktop and finally copy it back into the Applications folder, answering "Replace" the original when prompted.
Of course, when attempting to copy the App Store app back into the Applications folder, the process cannot be completed because the OS says... “App Store” can’t be modified or deleted because it’s required by Mac OS X." -
