The color bundle is not aactivated!

I get this message when I want to customize the color of my prints:
the bundle "color" could not be loaded because it does not contain a version for the current architecture.
contact the bundle's creator listed here for latest version.
1.01328, 2004-2005 Zenographics, Inc.
How can I solve this issue? the printer model is : HP Laser jet 2600n.

I was wondering if you ever got your color issue solved with your hp color lazerjet 2600n printer.
I got one recently and was reading the comments by others users on the apple store site where it lists the printer for sale, etc. and several people commented about the disappointment in the print quality with color photos. But one of them made some comment about enhancing the quality. But now, apparently apple has discontinued this printer because it doesn't appear in their store search anymore. So, I can't find those comments and adjust the quality, or ask the printer to print with a higher quality.
It seems to me that apple knew this, and wanted to unload these printers, so this was the one the salesman recommended. And now that they have gotten rid of them, there's no more information. Of course, I didn't see the comments until I got the printer and went on line to check out the cost of new cartridges.
I'm going to give apple a call, but so far my experience with tech support has been a waste of time. This forum has been the best place to get any real and accurate answers.

When printing a PLD in 9.0 the color background does not show

I have a PLD document (Sales Order) that I changed a field to have a "red" background which shows in my PLD document fine. But I cannot get the color to show in my print out or in the print preview. This issue has not been a problem for us in 8.82 but in 9.0 the same changes I make does not work.
Has anyone had similar issues with this and if so, any suggestions on how to fix?

When printing photos at my hp 1514n the colors are odd + not suitable. using win7 64bit +lat. driver

Hi, I' using a hp 1514n for printing photos. It's attached to my Win7 64bit computer. But the colors are not suitable. Printing is in high quality but the coloras are wrong (i.e. instead of a bule sky I get it turquois).
all patches installaed and also the lastest drivers. What else can I do?
The files are ok, because I get the right colors when printign the files at another hp color laser jet with win7 (32 bit)
Where can I get a suitable icc file?

I'd use the GutenPrint drivers. They're usually better than the drivers that HP ships, anyway, and the latest version of GutenPrint will work with Leopard while the HP drivers for a printer that old will not. The drivers at <http://www.linuxfoundation.org/en/OpenPrinting/MacOSX/hpijs> also explicitly support the DJ960C. Those drivers are usually written by HP employees, are often superior to the drivers HP uses, and, like the GutenPrint drivers, are free.

Red(as in the color red) is not red in h264 output

Hello to you all,
Whenever I output a h264 file with quicktime, my colors are messed up.
I have a red car on video. It's red in the original AVCHD MTS file viewed with VLC, it's still red when converted to AIC with voltaic and viewed in Quicktime. But then it happens, exporting to h264 results in a red car with a light blue cast over it, it looks purple!. Both in VLC and Quicktime.
Tried colorsync filters, probably every existing combination, only makes things worse.
Tried to attach other color profiles with automator, only makes things worse.
I have a wonderfull screenshot of this...hmm I can't attach pictures into this forum...or can I ?
Does anyone know why my car is red in the original raw footage, still red in the AIC file and NOT red but slightly purple in the h264 export.
My settings for h264 output:
Bitrate 24Mbps. Multiple cycles.

I have the same problem with my iPhone 4s - I went to the apple store and they refused to check the inside indicators for any water damage. Only the earphone LCI was trigerred.

I'm so sick of the color wheel! Just opening the finder takes far too long. Very Annoyed! Suggestions?

First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
Reset the System Management Controller.
If you have many image or video files on the Desktop with preview icons, move them to another folder.
If applicable, uncheck all boxes in the iCloud preference pane.
Disconnect all non-essential wired peripherals and remove aftermarket expansion cards, if any.
Check your keychains in Keychain Access for excessively duplicated items.
Boot into Recovery mode, launch Disk Utility, and run Repair Disk.
If you're booting from an aftermarket SSD, see whether there's a firmware update for it.
Otherwise, take the steps below when you notice the problem.
Step 1
Launch the Activity Monitor application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Activity Monitor in the icon grid.
Select the CPU tab of the Activity Monitor window.
Select All Processes from the menu in the toolbar, if not already selected.
Click the heading of the % CPU column in the process table to sort the entries by CPU usage. You may have to click it twice to get the highest value at the top. What is it, and what is the process? Also post the values for % User, % System, and % Idle at the bottom of the window.
Select the System Memory tab. What values are shown in the bottom part of the window for Page outs and Swap used?
Next, select the Disk Activity tab. Post the approximate values shown for Reads in/sec and Writes out/sec (not Reads in and Writes out.)
Step 2
If you have more than one user account, you must be logged in as an administrator to carry out this step.
Launch the Console application in the same way you launched Activity Monitor. Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Select the 50 or so most recent entries in the log. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V). You're looking for entries at the end of the log, not at the beginning.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some personal information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting. That should be easy to do if your extract is not too long.

Appstore updates - do they replace the entire bundle or not?

Looking through the developer program documentation, I was trying to figure out whether or not an update submitted to the appstore will COMPLETELY replace the bundle on the users device, or just the updated binary/files contained within?
I was also wondering if the Documents directory gets erased in this process too? This would be somewhat annoying if it were the case, i.e. a user would probably want to keep his highscores/savestates/profiles/whatever through an update of a given app.

The entire bundle appears to be replaced.
The Documents directory is supposed to be retained between updates, however there are a number of reports of this being erased as well "sometimes". While I believe this last case to happen less on 2.0.2, it happened quite frequently on prior versions.

TS1398 Turn the wifi on and off? I think I have a serious problem here. I cannot even press the on and off because its not available (the color is grey not black). I think this is why Apple is constantly losing a buyer and user. Slow action.

What is the problem here Apple? Please hear us. I turned on my Wifi and then turned it off after use. After that I noticed something strange because I cannot turn on the wifi button anymore. I have restarted the phone several times, and turn it on after 10 mins, sometimes 30 min - 1 Hr. but then again its not working. I encountered this problem after updating my iOS to 6.1.2! Please hear us. If you wanted to penetrate to the market please love your consumers. Your products are great but your actions to their(US, CONSUMERS) problems in terms of bugs fixes and battery life is so slow. Why is that?

After turning MacBook on, the colorful pinwheel does not stop spinning. So, I can't get into any of my Apps. I have no control. Is there a combination of keys that will give me control?

Is there a combination of keys that gives you some control of keyboard or Apps? Opened laptop and it won't stop "thinking" and allow me to open or do anything!

In case you are wondering, Safe Mode forces a file system check (among other things) and if it finds any issues it repairs them. Most likely that is what was causing your issue.

All of the webpages are showing up "strange" not all the colors are showing, not all the correct boxes are showing, and there are numerous errors in the error console (which doesn't help me)! Is there just a way to reset everything to go back to normal??

I've had some problem over the past few months.
Today, it is the black cartridge for a photosmartD5460. New Cartridge— will not print.
It's the expensive jumbo cartidge, too.
HP service is usually okay, but their quality control at ink factory is pretty poor.

After effects color corrected clip not showing correctly in Premiere

Hello all,
I have recently made a short film with a few effects in Premiere and After effects CS4. I have used the Dynamic Link to accomplish this. I have added color correction with Color Finesse in After effects. The problem is I some of the color correction is not showing up in Premiere once it has finished. Some of them are adjustment layers and some are not and the ones that are showing up are diverse like that as well. I have rendered the footage and rendered the premiere time line, it fixes it at first but won't build a DVD the right way then the fixes just seem to disappear when scrolling through the timeline.
Is anyone else haveing this problem?
Do you think it's something wrong that an update will fix?
Maybe a new codec?

Color Scheme Updates Not Working

Color schemeing is hugely helpful for me. I recently migrated from a Win7 machine to a Mac and have been trying to change the color scheme. I uploaded a dark scheme I found, that worked okay, but when I go in to make some additional tweaks, they simply don't save. I'll make the change > click OK > go back go the Preferences menu, review the change I made, but it won't show. As if the change didn't happen at all.
Quit the app after making the change doesn't seem to really help either.
Anyone experience anything like this?

I may be a little confused, but if you are working with a gray or white layer the color burn will not work as there is no color to work on. Does that make sense?

Printing from preview the colors come out inverted

I have a PDF that I scanned in myself and the first time I printed it it printed just the way it was supposed to. The next time I opened up the file in preview it looked normal on my screen but when I went to print it the output in the printer had the colors inverted. I have tried printing from preview and adobe acrobat and it printed the same the blacks came out white and the whites came out black. So I tried printing it from a windows computer and the file printed as it should, the colors were normal not inverted.
Does anyone know how to fix this? It doesn't happen to every PDF just a few that I have.
