The color of the web site looks wrong when switched to full screen mode.

I was in a game website.
When I switched to full screen mode, the black text changed into blue text.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Woo-Hoo! Started Firefox in Safe Mode and disabled everything. Went through the Preferences check list of potential problems and double checked all of the settings, restarted Firefox, in plain default mode and wah-la, everything looks right again in Face Book! Is there a way to get the bookmarks toolbar to display when switching to full screen on a Mac?

When switching to full screen mode in Firefox 9 the bookmarks toolbar goes away. I can't find any view setting to keep it displayed. Is there a way?

Maybe use the Bookmarks sidebar instead (Command+B).
You can also add code to userChrome.css below the default @namespace line to display the Bookmarks Toolbar when you hover to the top of the window to unhide the toolbars and tab bar. 
I don't know if that works on a Mac.

Has anyone else had a problem with the audio not keeping up with the video when switching to full screen on YouTube?

Hi. I have a OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.1 Mac Book Air, Processor 1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
Has anyone else had a problem with the audio not keeping up with the video when switching to full screen on YouTube?
The video starts out fine, but if I click on the expand icon in the lower right corner of the screen the audio won't keep up.
Refreshing the page don't help at all. In fact, nothing seems to help once it starts.
I did not have this problem at all using Mavericks. The problem started after installing Yosemite.
Any way to fix it?

hello davinci2, please right-click any bookmark where this is happening, go to ''properties'' and make sure that they are not set up to open in the sidebar.

Is it possible to let iCal change the color or other appearance of an event when switching 'show as' from "busy" to free""?

As the header states, I am looking for a way to incorporate both "busy" and "free" events in 1 calendar. But I would like to be able to see the difference between events without having to maintain another "pencil" calendar.
Would be great to have them be greyed out or get another color.

Hmm... I hadn't thought of XControls! I'd rather not go that route, though, in the interest of keeping the error handler code as light as possible. (In the daemon itself I don't mind more complexity) If I did that, the cure might be more expensive than the problem it solves.

Sadly, this app is rather "free form". It has a lot of multi-threaded, asynchronous operations since I'm performing parallel TCP communication to several hosts. Each dynamically called VI calls the error handler.

Quick Look full screen mode won't move to next image?

When I highlight the first image in a folder full of multiple images and then press "Space" quick look opens and shows me that first image. I can then move on to the next image by simply pressing the down arrow.
But if I enter quick look's full screen mode it won't move to the next image unless I first select all the images in the folder before entering full screen mode?
Why? Why would functionality SO simple (move to the next image) not be included in the full screen mode of quick look? It renders the full screen mode essentially pointless, who wants to look at ONE image in full screen? Of course everyone wants to browse the images, but why should I have to select all of them, why not just let me move from one to the next... exactly as I can when NOT in full screen mode?

I remembered that there had been a slight bug in the Leopard Quicklook, so that if you went to full-screen QL, then used Command-Tab to switch to another program, then Command-Tab back to Finder, you would be back in QL Full Screen, but you could now navigate with the arrow keys. At first I thought this had been fixed, and started mucking about with other key combos and accidently got it going again. Took awhile to figure out exactly what I had done, but it works like this:
1. Select your file, hit spacebar and click the full screen arrows
2. Command-tab to some other program
3. Mouse click the toolbar or sidebar of the open folder with your file in it
4. You can now navigate with the arrow keys
Although I don't really see how this is better or easier than opening the folder, hitting Command-A, then bringing up QL....

Background color in Pages 5.5.2. full screen mode

I updated to Yosemite, and my Pages updated to 5.5.2. It used to be that when I went into full screen mode in Pages, the background color was black. Now when I enter full screen mode, the background color is pale. Is there a way to change it back to black?

There is no control over background color with Pages v5.5.2 in full-screen, or normal mode. If you had Pages '09 installed before the installation of Pages v5, then it was silently moved to /Applications/iWork '09. You could use the older Pages and have your black background.

.exe cannot have an HTML background, so changing HTML background will not reflect in .exe output. There is no feature that we can change the background color for .exe output.

Just updated to new Firefox - now when clicking on a website to visit the color of the print no longer changes to indicate that I have visited that site already. How can I get that feature again?

Since updating to new firefox I have lost a very helpful tool. Before, when I clicked on a website to visit, the color of the print would change from blue to purple to indicate that I had visited that site. Now it does not do that so it is difficult to keep track of what sites I have visited and what sites I haven't when looking down the list of possible sites to visit.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?

Does the color of the iPod affect how the iPod apps look or operate?

On Amazon, the picture of the black iPod touch 5th generation is different than the picture of the grey iPod. I was wondering if the color of the iPod in any way changes the style or function of the icons. In the picture, the black iPod looked like an older style and I prefer the newer style, so I don't want to order it if it will be different from the grey iPod, which looked like it was indeed the more recent look/style.
