I assume these are POP accounts and all computers are set to remove from Server after downloading.
So on the non dominant ones... Mail Preferences>Accounts, highlight an account, Advanced tab, uncheck remove from Server, just have the main dominant one remove from server.
Or get/setup IMAP accounts. -
I have reset winsock, I have disabled firwewall, virus program, - tried everything. Still no luck. Looks like many people are havoing the same problem. What IS the problem and how can it be fixed?

If that's not a real email, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

I installed Mountain Lion on my iMac. Now I cannot access the Internet. All the other computers and tablets on the network have no problem. I did PRAM and MC reset, modem reset, etc., all the usual ju-ju. I also cannot connect on my local network to any other computer. Yet Network control panel says I am connect to the modem, and Network Diagnosis says I am connected to the Internet. It's like the blind man who has eyes that cannot see. BTW, I am not some newbee. I have been a Machead since the early nineties and set up a half dozen networks, including the one I am using at home to which the iMac mysteriously is there but not. This has me stumped! I am considering going back to 10.7!

I haven't been able to connect to the internet on my macbook pro for the last few days. I'm not very good at fixing technical difficulties, so could I please get some help. I have wireless internet in my home which is connected to another computer. I have tried turning the modem on and off but still no difference.
When I open safari, it tells me that I can't connect to the internet and when I try opening network preferences, it doesn't connect. In other words, my wireless modem works connecting the other computers, but not mine.so I got a brand new TC and wanted to use it as my main router.
You will not be able to use the TC as your "main" router. It must be configured to operate in Bridge Mode with your existing modem/router. -
My Ipod touch says i have to connect it to iTunes so i can restore it but it will not restore even after following the steps to fix the problem.
After pressing restore and after l5 minutes or so It comes up with the error 1611 and I followed all the steps but it still won't work.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Although the entire article is very useful, the following section may be helpful in your circumstance:
Apple TV unexpectedly disconnects from the Wi-Fi network or signal strength is weak or fluctuates
Check for any obstructions and adjust the location of your router or Apple TV; also check for sources ofpotential interference.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware.For an AirPort Base Station, refer to this article for information about firmware updates. For third-party Wi-Fi routers, check the manufacturer's website for details on updating your firmware.
If after attempting the above steps, your Apple TV is still unable to connect to your Wi-Fi network:
Restart your Apple TV: Choose Settings > General > Restart.
If you can connect to the Internet using an Ethernet connection, verify that your Apple TV is using the latest software by choosing Settings > General > Software Update. If your Apple TV can be updated, install the update and test again.

Please help! I am trying to get at my iPod (2nd_Generation) from a new computer. I have iTunes loaded but the Setup Assistant doesn't come up to allow me to access my iPod Shuffle. When using iPod in the 1st computer (which I no longer have), the iTunes Setup Assistant comes up but not on this 2nd setup on a new computer? The manual doesn't clarify how to do this. Thanks.

I am trying to authorise my new macbook air for i-tunes and it won't let me. I try to de-authorise all the other computers and it says I can only do this once a year and have to wait until the 7th Feb. It does not give me an option to authorise this computer
Always remember to 'de-authorize' you computer when selling or sending for service. If sending for repairs you might not get the same mother board or HD back and some how this counts as an authorized computer against your count.

I downloaded my sons ipod 5g with the latest iOS and now when we try to sync it says we have no space, but there is nothing but a few apps on his ipod and he has plenty of space. The messege says that most of is space is taken up by video but there is no video or music on his ipod right now. I've tried to reset his ipod but that did not help the problem. What can I do?

iMovie on your Mac has nothing to do with iCloud storage. Download and use Find Any File to search for your iMovie project. FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't, like invisible folders, packages and system folders. If there a file with your file name on it anywhere on the hard drive FAF will find it.
Do you have Time Machine enabled backing up to an external HD? This situation is exactly what TM is good at. It makes hourly backups so you can go back to find and restore the missing file. All HDs crash at some time or another and having a good backup strategy is the only protection against that.
