The cursor is moving up alone

Hi I have a curve 9300 3g I'm facing a problem with my phone the cursor is moving up alone.any help please??

One thing you should check is whether someone has enabled your Mac to be controlled remotely. Go to System Preference (under the Apple menu) and select Sharing. Are any sharing services on? Turn any that you do not need off by unchecking the box next to them.
Other tests you can do - disconnect from all networks including Ethernet and wifi and see if the same issue occurs. If it does, it is not the result of someone hacking in, since there is no connection to someone else if those services are off.

The scroll bar stops moving with the cursor after the frist inch or so down the page, even though the cursor keeps moving as does the page itself.

This problem started about 4-5 days ago.
After i scroll down a bit on a longer page, the scroll bar is still near (not at) the top. The page is scrolling at that point based only on me continuing to move the cursor in the scroll bar vertical column - even though not in line with the actual scroll bar itself. Then when I put the cursor on the actual scroll bar the page jumps back up to near the top of the page.

Are you using code in userContent.css or Stylish?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

Could you provide some more information? Is this in any specific application or all applications? Have you tried a restart? Have you installed anym new software recently?

Pda graph redraws every time when cursor is moved

Hi,
I use PDA Module 8.2 and Windows Mobile 5 OS on PDA.
I
have a problem that every time I move cursor on graph control plot is
being redrawn, so it realy annoying when you have 5000 or more points
and you have to wait a second while plot is being redrawn.
You can test this in attached vi.
Is there any way to aviod this?

OK, that's not just a "cursor move", if the cursor movements causes resizing and processing of the displayed data. Most likely, the processed data looks different so a redraw is needed anyway.
Reducing the displayed data as suggested by others is certainly a good thing. However, 5000 points are not that many, so maybe you are doing things very inefficiently and wasteful. For example, currently you don't have a small wait inside your loop, so the While loop alone will consume all available CPU, strongly competing with the graph redraw operations for CPU resources.

Need help for focusing the cursor from one textbox to another textbox

I have a problem in java script.
Note:The textboxes are generated dynamically.it is not having fixed length.(the number of textboxes generated may be 3,2,4....etc.it is not fixed.
To move cursor from one textbox to another text box ,I have taken the length of the textboxes of the first column.I used onkeyDown event .
in the function ,first i checked the condition like

by using this the cursor is moving from first text box to second textbox and stops.
if i use event.returnValue=false; instead of return false ,then the cursor automatically going to the laxt textbox of the column.
my problem is how i can focus the cursor from one textbox to another textbox one after the other till the end.
if any one has solution please help me.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

The cursor is jumping around on macbook pro with retina(mid-2012)

The cursor is moving around on its own. I have the same problem in safe mode as well. I reset the SMC (system management controller), it seemed to solve the problem at first but it came back again.I run AHT(Apple Hardware test) and it didn't find any issue.
It happened once three months ago, I restarted the system and problem was solved. now it's getting worse. I appreciate your help if you have experienced the same problem before.

it's advertised 720p so yes it is the same as all the other MBP. it may just be the resolution of your monitor is stretching the pixels. Don't worry about bringing it to the apple store.

Robot class and positioning the cursor

I have an application where I have a number of panels on the screen and using an editable field wish to enter coordinates to position the Cursor to on another panel.
ie, using grid coordinates on a map. Using the robot class I am able to position the cursor on the other panel but as soon as I move the mouse the cursor jumps back to the original position on the screen where the first panel with the editable field was. It is like only a picture of the cursor was drawn at the new coordinates and the real cursor is still at the old podition. It is important to this application that if the cursor is moved it stays where it has been moved to and actually is there and not just appearing to be there. I am using jdk 1.3 on Intel Solaris 2.8. Any help on this issue would be helpful and appreciated

Maybe you can use the mouse move event to position the mouse to where you had moved the cursor to.
for example
1.the mouse is at point 100,100
2. you move the cursor from your code to point 0,0
3. the user starts to move the mouse
4. you code gets that event and repositions the cursor to the last place where it was, that is at 0,0

How can I prevent the cursor from stopping when I press down on the trackpad?

On my MacbookPro 13" Retina with the new trackpad, when I press down on it and get the force feedback, the cursor stops moving even if I'm still moving my finger. This happens when I miss-click and try to correct myself and when I'm dragging something. It drives me nuts!

The problem with this is the following: "Also note that this will only work for applications and text fields that are coded with Apple’s text view coding objects, so programs that use alternative text handling routines may not show a difference in blink rate." So it does only work for pages and keynote and textedit but not for the menu itself and the browser and alle the other areas.
It seems like there is no overall, no global command available..what a pity

App to auto move the cursor to "Continue" and "Accept" buttons?

I don't know what to search for in the archives, but wondering if anyone knows of an app that will automatically move the cursor to the "Continue" and "Accept" buttons when installing or having to enter passwords. Though I'm not a big Windows fan, I do appreciate the option to have the cursor automatically moved to the default option when the user is asked to acknowledge something with a mouse click... particularly on a portable computer. I'm looking for something that reduces scrolling around to the box and places the cursor right there. Some might see this as lazy, so feel free to joke away Perhaps this feature is built-in to OSX and I just don't know how to access it... honestly I can't imagine why it isn't an option, but maybe there's a good reason. macjack, yes for the occasions when the default item is in blue then I just use enter. Often, the selections like "Continue" are not in blue however. Also, I'm still hopeful there's an app that will let me keep my hand on the mouse... mostly helpful with my macbookpro. Again, certainly feels a bit lazy when I describe it. But, seems like a feature that would be nice... have the cursor/arrow auto-point to the default or most commonly used option so you just "click" to keep going.
