The Memory Analyzer is a tool to find <b>memory leaks</b> and analyze <b>memory consumption</b> based on Java HPROF binary heap dumps. Not only does it visualize the contents of a heap dump, but the algorithms implemented in the tool extract the biggest objects, show the memory kept alive by arbitrary object sets, identifies the bad guys (i.e. the responsible objects) and much more.

Is there a place where I can submit suggestions to the development team?

We recently got the Adobe Cloud for Teams at work and the rest of the team has started submitting suggestions to me for things they would like to see done diferently. I tried explaining that I have no control over some of the things they would like to see (like, for instance, when sharing files, can we include the name of the file that is being shared in the email that is sent to them instead of just saying "here's a file"?) So I'm looking for someplace where I can submit these suggestions to the developement team. They may or may not work our ideas into the system and that's fine but I've been tasked with trying to find the "suggestion box". Thanks!

I doubt that apple team sends this kind of emails. At the best, they may ask you to change your password, but not to reaquest to provide one.

Bootcamp Version 3.1 --List of bug reports for the Development Team to fix.

Please create a list of bug fixes for the Development Team to address in the next version of Bootcamp (e.g., 3.2). This thread assumes that all users are presently running Bootcamp 3.1:
1. Sound should not be muted every time a user reboots a newer MacBook laptop using Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit. My sound is always muted when I load Windows 7 Ultimate, and I have to manually turn it on each time.
2. Left and right clicks on the trackpad should work out of the box using Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit. My left click operates a little less than 50 percent of the time -- i.e., I click it and nothing happens. I had to switch to "tap to click" as a workaround, however, I prefer the good old solid left click.
Please step right up and add to the bug report list so that the developers have a checklist of issues that need to be fixed. When the bug report list has grown to a respectable size, I'll send an official letter to the C.E.O. to facilitate the bug reports reaching the development team.

FWIW, I don't have the symptoms you describe. So I think before you call a symptom a "bug" I think you should confirm that it is indeed a "bug" and not a configuration, software, or hardware issue caused by something such as incorrect installation, incorrect setup, or any other third party or user caused action.
Also, FWIW, I don't think this forum is intended to be used as a survey for gathering "bugs". Apple has an official feedback page where they gather user experiences such as yours. I think if you post your "bugs" there they will get faster attention than posting them here in this user-to-user help forum.

I trashed my Aperture preferences, so now I can open Aperture. The dialog box says Welcome to Aperture. Will I still have my old Aperture Library?

I can open Aperture now, but since it says Welcome Aperture, I just want to make sure my old Library is there still. I don't want proceed until I know my photos are safe. They are backed up on Time Machine and a Cloud service, too, if I need to retrive them. I had a problem where my computer shutdown during a rebuild/repair, but when I re-boot, I couldn't open Aperture. Any advice will help.

I have looked in my Picture folder and see "Aperture Library", but not "Aperture Library.aplibrary". Are they the same?
Have you set the Finder to hide the filename extensions? Then enable the extensions to be shown in the Finder Preferences (Advanced tab):

If that library only has been created yesterday, it is unlikely, that it will contain your photos. How large is this "Aperture Library"? If it is very small, only a few MB, then it is probably a default library, that Aperture has created, when it could not find your regular library. But if it has several GB, than it can be your Aperture Library - then double click it to open it and see.
If your old "Aperture Library" is not in your Pictures folder, enter ".aplibrary" in the Spotlight searchfield in the upper right corner of your screen.
Does that turn up more libraries?

HT201269 stuck on the screen that says "Welcome to your new Iphone"

I need some help.. I've recently repaired my iphone 4 and had it in recovery mode. I plugged it in to itunes (using Windows on a PC) and it sorted itself out of recovery mode. A screen then opens saying something like "Welcome to your new iPhone" where my option is to set up as new iphone or restore from backup. (shown as a screen dump under nr 6 in the checklist here: iOS: Transferring information from your current iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device)
I restore from a backup and everything seems to be going allright, when the restore is done iTunes says I will have to go through a setup on my phone. I do the setup and the phone now contains some old photos, textmessages, contacts, web favorites, e-mail setup and other things. But iTunes still shows the Welcome-page! I cant continue with the sync of my music and apps! my only option is to set up as new iphone or restore from backup again. I've tried a number of times to restore from backup and the only thing that happens is a new backup is shown in the scrollbar. (sorry, don't know if scrollbar's even a word..)
Whats wrong? Anybody?

Making web beans available to the whole development team

I've managed to sucessfully crete a web bean and add it to the Jdeveloper component palette.
My question is, If I am developing web beans for use by the development team as a whole, how do I make these available to them without each member of the team adding it through the web object manager.
Can I create a corporate library of beans which can be accessed by all developers?

You can package all the webbeans into a .jar file. and have a shared image of the system\webbeans.xml that all your developers use. The webbeans.xml is edited via the WebObject Manager.

Dev team says cat components unusable!!

I'm a designer. Me and my team have been trying to use catalyst along with our developer who use builder.
The dev team is saying that any component from catalyst is 10-20 times the size of a builder comp, and so they are
practically unusable. They make everything run too slow. I've asked if it might be because we built them inefficiently in CAT,
and if there is a solution to that, and they say NO, all components, even simple buttons are HUGE in size, and so CAT sucks,
and they can use any files from it. I'm not a builder use, or a dev, so have no way to really validate this. Any comments?

That is going to be a tough battle to win. Most developers feel "that the only good code is the code they write".
Catalyst uses the same button component that Flash Builder uses, so if they are rewriting even the Spark button, there is not a lot you can do. For any component that has a pencil icon on it, those are the same as the Flash Builder versions. You should be able to skin/style those elements with almost no cost to development.
Custom component can be a different story. Catalyst does like to use RichText for all it's text displays, and that is a 'heavy' component. I would reverse the process. Have them develop the component framework and it's required parts, then you can bring that component into Catalyst and apply the visuals. There is work to done to produce optimized Catalyst elements. Try working on one component with a developer on your team to solve some of the issues.
I find that working in smaller components is easier for the development team to ingest Catalyst assets.

A question for the Muse team

With all the talk about the biblical slowness of Adobe Muse.... yes, even the very latest and most up to date version as of todays date.... and the fact that so many people are complaining, I would like to ask the development team exactly what computer specs you guys are using and what type of websites, number of pages etc you created in order to test the product.
I am a Mac user so it would be helpful to tell me the spec YOU are using instead of constantly asking disgruntled users who live in the real world with computer specs for their .muse files to be sent in.
You guys must have spent months developing this product so you MUST have seen the incredible lag or the need to force quit regularly upon the ever present spinning beach ball. Can you tell us what other application you open to use with the product... I for instance now am unable to open my Lightroom 5 app to adjust any images as, as soon as I do so, Muse starts to sulk big time and just gives in... Also if I use nothing else and just Muse, after an hour it decides its had enough of the hard work and suffers from accelerated decrepitude.
So what specs do you use and I will go out and buy it...

To add to the above... the Adobe Muse CC software has also started to to turn my iMac into an old grandfather... after about 10 minutes of use, adding some text and some photos, my whole computer slows down to a halt... dragging a website page just a few inches to the left lags for about 10 seconds, typing text starts to slow down. putting your mouse over items on the toolbar takes 5 seconds or so for the drop down menus to appear... etc... etc.... etc.... etc...
... and as usual I am unable to shut Muse down and have to force quit... I have tested every other programe and non of them affect my iMac like this so it really is Muse...
I dont know why you want to kill my iMac as I quite like it and its only a year old. Would be so nice if you could produce a stable version as I received notice from all the other pieces of software I have saying that they dont like working alongside Muse and want to move to a new computer.

Help Please: Looking to contact Software Development Team

I have been looking over the site, and I am struggling to locate a contact address for the development team.
The query is this: Without giving too much away, I have in mind what I believe to be a highly innovative software concept / marketing method to integrate with the existing format and content provided by iTunes.
Therefore, I am looking to arrange a pitch for this idea.
Probably a long shot on the forums, but I'm guessing there has to be a certain amount of company involvement in the moderation thereof.
If anyone is able to provide contact details to help facilitate this, it would be greatly appreciated.

WIshes - If you had a meeting with the Numbers team (hint hint). 3 wishes?

What would be the top three (or more) things you are looking for in Numbers on the iPad? If you had a chance to meet with the development team (a possibility) what would be your biggest wishes for the program?
Some of mine:
1. Add the star system to the desktop so my iPad documents work the same way on desktop app.
2. Allow me to email a completed form.
3. Allow me to re-size the column width on forms if I wish.
4. When I change data in Numbers, corresponding data in a Keynote document would automatically change (as opposed to me manually altering Keynote table and spreadsheet data).
What are yours?

Which version of OS X do you have? It's not clear from your post whether "installed an upgrade" means you just installed PSE 13 as an upgrade or you installed an update to PSE 13, like ACR 9 or 13.1. Please clarify.

First:
 (Apple menu) > System Preferences > Users & Groups > select your account > Login Items.
Determine if that program appears in that list. If it does, select it and then remove it from Login Items with the "–" (minus) button.
Next:
Select the entire line that follows (triple-click to select it), then control-click, and from the contextual menu that appears, select Services > Open:
/Library/StartupItems/
If the program or an alias to it appears in that folder, drag it to the Trash.
Next:
When you log out or shut down your Mac, de-select the checkbox that begins with the words "Reopen windows... "

When the user selects this type of footnote style, and insert some footnote to the document
The user then export the document to pdf。
there is no problem in indesign CS3 and indesign CS4.
but in indesign CS5 and CS5.5,
export pdf, there will be two kinds of format：
Adobe PDF(Interaction)
Adobe PDF(Print)
If the user chooses to export a pdf(Interaction),there is no problem,
but if user choose to export to pdf(print)，
All of the footnote is replaced by an ordinary Arabic numerals 1,2,3,4,......
I think there is a bug in exported the pdf function in cs5 and cs5.5，
so ，who can help me to submit this bug to the adobe indesign development team？ thanks.
