"The device entered an offline state" - Iotech Daqboard 505

Hello everyone,
Lately, I have been using an Iotech Daqboard 505 combined with DasyLab. That board has maximum sample rate 200000 samples/sec. Unfortunately, when I set that sampling rate into Dasylab I get instantly a daqboard runtime error – “The device entered an offline state”. By reducing the sampling rate I can increase the duration that everything works fine. So far the rate that looks to have no problems is 5Hz.
What can I do so that I can utilize my card’s maximum sampling rate?
I have been told that enabling DMA bus mastering on the PCI slot that the board is installed is the solution. Is it correct? If so, how could that be done?
Thanks in advance

I have already run Daq Confijuration Utility and the "Test hardware" option inside Dasylab. The result in both is "Sampling Rate: 200000samples/sec".
In order to eliminate possible reasons of the malfunction I dramatically simplified my layer. Last time I tested it, it had only an A/D module directly connected to Digital Meter Module. The only parameter I was changing was Sampling Rate (Buffer size, block size --> Auto). At 5Hz all fine. After that, the higher the Sampling Rate the faster the error message pops up.
I haven't contacted MCC so far.
I am using 7 channels.
Thanks for the response so far

  • My iphone has been lost ....please can u track where is it.the device is in off state..please notify me n thanks a lot..

please tell me where is that cell..i m in tension sir..

Goonzs, please note you are not addressing Apple here.  This is a user forum.
Moreover, Apple cannot track your iPhone, but please note that if the power is off the iPhone cannot be tracked.
Change all your passwords to items that are on your iPhone, report the stolen iPhone to the police and to you carrier.  Some carriers will blacklist the iPhone's imei number so that it cannot be reconnected to that network.
If you had Find my iPhone enabled on the iPhone, you could try to locate it through iCloud but the phone needs to be powered ON and connected to the Internet to be found.

  • Can Lost Mode be bypassed by resetting the device?

    Hi all,
As I recently lost mi iPhone, I turned on lost mode using iCloud. However, the device was already offline at the time I did this. This brings up the following question:
If the person who holds the phone resets the device completely and then connects to the internet, will this still be traced by iCloud? That is, if the device is reset, my Apple ID will be removed, and Find My iPhone might be turned off. Might it however be that Lost Mode works using the phone's serial or IMEI number, hence still making it detectable?
Just wondering about this, as the phone has been gone for a few days now, and is still marked as Offline.
    Thanks for any input!

Thanks for your answer! I was indeed afraid of this.
I guess there has to be some technical limitation preventing this to work using the device serial or IMEI? Because this would obviously be much more useful and provide a real "Stolen Mode" instead of Lost Mode.

  • Cannot get new token due to device offline state. Id error 40760

    Hi,
    I have a Blackberry Curve 9380
i can't go in my app world, the message says: Cannot get new token due to device offline state id error 40760
    what should i do?
    btw, i'm french
    thanks!

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
    2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
    3) Reboot
With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
If not, then please try this sequence:
    1) Remove AppWorld from your BB
KB10040 How to view or remove installed applications on a BlackBerry smartphone
If it requests that you reboot the BB, do so
    2) Do a Batt-Pull reboot (power on, remove battery, wait, insert battery, wait), even if redundant to the one you did in step 1.
    3) Install (on your BB) a fresh copy of AppWorld
    http://blackberry.com/appworld/download
Again, if it requests to reboot, do so.
    4) Do another Batt-Pull reboot
    5) See if it now works.
Otherwise, you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.
    Good luck!

Can i erase my stolen macbook pro with find my mac even if it states the device was locked on a specific date (not by me) after being stolen?

Barry, the other stolen computer, my IMac does not show me a locked on such and such date, but simply says offline.  I set that computer to erase when it goes online and notify me when it is found, and to play a tone and play a message that the police are on their way!

  • TS4006 I have lost my iphone, i rang my service provider who deactivated my sim. Id requested an erase of my iphone on icloud but the device is offline & erase still pending. If someone was to put there sim in my phone when they connect to the net will it

I have lost my iphone. I rang my service provider who deactivated my sim card as I am on a contract. I logged into icloud and my device is appearing offline however i requested the erase iphone feature.. which is still pending. My question is how safe is my information... If someobody was to put there sim into my iphone would it delete my info as soon as they got signal? I luckily had a security code activated when the phone is switched on this must be entered and when the phone locks. Any help would be appreciated.

The erase will be executed if it ever goes back online with Find My iPhone still enabled on the phone, whether that's via wifi or 3G.  The good news is that if you set a passcode on the phone before it was lost your data is safe even if the remote erase command isn't executed.  The only way someone would be able to use the phone without the passcode is to force it into recovery mode (which erases all data) and restore it as a new iPhone.

  • Cannot Download Apps: device offline state???

Everytime I try to download an app from appworld, it says "Cannot get new oken due to device offline state (Error Id:40760). Please help if you know how to fix this

The specific error you cite is not yet published in the public KBs:
    http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/microsites/microsite.do
Perhaps your search will reveal better results than mine. However, some clarifications are needed before I attempt to provide you any further guidance.
Is this error achieved when you use, via USB/tether, the PC/browser version of AppWorld?
Or is this error achieved via the on-device AppWorld interface?
    Thanks and let us know!

  • I have a problem with syncing my calander with outlook 2007 for iPhone 5s, ipad 1st and 3rd generation. Contacts work find, and new and changed enteries in outlook all go to the devices. Device Cal changes do not appear in Outlook

Over the past year or so, I have been unable to fully sync my iPads with outlook 2007 calander. Now I have an iPhone 5s, and really need the calander fixed. Contacts seem to sync in both directions, and any new or changed cal enteries in outlook appear on the device. The problem is that any new or changed calander enteries do not make ip back to outlook 2007, so there is only one-way syncing (down to the device) but no return, for calander entries.
I am now using the latest itunes, which I followed the recommendation delete all apple stuff, and then reinstall, I have used scanpst, built new PSts, etc, am I am stuck.
    Not using icloud either.
Not using wi-fi, purely USB cabale sync
    Running on Windows XP, SP3
Now IOS 7.0.2 on iPhone and 1 iPad (3rd gen)

    Kept searching, found this: https://discussions.apple.com/message/23321067#23321067
Bottom line: if you follow the recommendation to delte all itunes software and re-install, it don't work (at least for me and many others).
However, purge the data (certain data) and the data syncs.
I think the folder is Apple Computer\Preferences and it needs to be purged.
To be sure, maybe someone can rename the folder on their system, then run itunes and see if it syncs ok.
The idea is to figure out the least minimum stuff that needs to be touched in order to get a working solution than having to purge all Apple software and then rebuild it all over again.
I had purged other files out of inpatience, but did not want to purge entire folders because I had Safari, and Quicktime software, and did not want to wipe that out, Plus there were software downloads and device backups in some of those folders. But I really believe it is the preferences folder, and I would like someone with the same problem to try it and verify it.
Once the preferences folder is removed/renamed (taken out of the picture) pluggin in the device and go to the INFO (I think that is the iTunes tab) page where you select calanders, contacts, email accounts, etc. They will all be unchecked (because you wiped out the preferences) and you need to reselect them. Then run your sync.
What I had done in testing was create something on the device, and modify something else on the device looking to see what got up to Outlook. I got the good news that something good was happening when I got the conflict message from iTunes, and it showed both Outlook and iPhone, showing the calander entry I changed on the iPhone. Never got that before. After the sync, everything looked good the few test entries were uploaded to outlook.
Now, My Cal is 10L+ enteries, and I am doing 100% sync (I don't select the option to ignore enteries over x days). I also have 1400+ contacts. Before this change, the sync of contacts & calanders took a couple of hours (and only operated ONE-WAY, now the syn is taking less than 5 minutes for this one step.
I am a Windows XP Professional user, x32 bit system, using Outlook 2007, iTunes 11.1.1.11, I am standalone (no exchange server) and have about 10 email accounts (mainly POP) defined. I am using only one calander in outlook, but I have Outlook and 2 gmail calanders in the iPhone.
I am running iPhone 5s and iPad 3rd Gen both with IOS 7.0.2 and a 1st generation iPad with the latest version of IOS 5.x.
If anyone else has success, I'd like to hear, along with your experience.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

    For how to restore:
    iTunes: Restoring iOS software
    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

  • If my ipad was stolen and i havent signed up for find my ipad app will it show the device offline and pending lost mode still?

wondering if i never signed up for the locate my ipad app if it would show my stolen device as offline and pending lost mode or if that means that i did sign up for it and just dont remember?

If it is showing up as Offline and also shows Lost Mode as Pending, then you did turn on Find My iPhone. Otherwise, you wouldn't see the device at all when you went to Find My iPhone in iCloud. If someone turns on the device and connects to the internet, then your pending Lost Mode transaction will process, and a lock code will be placed on the device. It will also show up on the map to show you the location.
However, if it does not come back online, then you won't be able to track it, nor will the lost mode command execute.

    I have a macbook pro core i7 mid 2012
And update to the latest version 10.8.4 system after updating the system I have the problem appeared to take off the device and stops at the apple logo for about 5 minutes and then enters the desktop How can I solve this problem and thank you

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time when you had the problem. Select the messages logged after the boot, during the time something abnormal was happening. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
For example, if the problem is a slow startup taking three minutes, post the messages timestamped within three minutes after the boot time, not before. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the beginning of the log extract.
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
    Step 2
Still in Console, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash or panic logs, and post the entire contents of the most recent one, if any. In the interest of privacy, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if present (it may not be.) Please don’t post shutdownStall, spin, or hang logs — they're very long and not helpful.
