  • What is the difference between signal processing tooklit and the advanced signal processing tooklit

    Hi
I am work on a project with Labview 7.1 now and want to calculate the FFT based on
the Welch method. In my full version Labview, there is a signal processing tooklit
I install it but did not found that welch.vi. Is it means that except for signal processing
tooklit, there is another advanced one and I should pay more money for it, Or,
Should I update my Labview version to 8.0 and the software will support the tooklit?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi dec04009 ,
When you say "Signal Processing toolkit", do you mean the Signal Processing Palette, that is included in LabVIEW Full?
LabVIEW has signal processing VI's, those are supported in later versions, like 8.0 or 8.2. Since LabVIEW 8.0 there were added many new mathematical functions. Take a look at this:
    http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/bf49f9b8951a89f3862571840057b2c7
The Advanced Signal Processing Toolkit, has advanced features, like wavelets analysis, JTFA
    http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/es/nid/1395
I'm not familiar with the Welch Method, but I found this in the functions of the LabVIEW 8.2:

  • Difference between Business Process and Workflow

    Hi all,
What is the difference between Business Process and Workflow? i have googled it and I don't really understand that complicated definition? Is there any examples to illustrate the difference between the both?

    Hi,
I will try to put here , my perspective of this. If somebody knows better, they can update further on this.
Business process is purely on the perspective of the users. It may or maynot have anything to do with the system. When a draw a business flow diagram, we dont take care of how each and every process is handled in the system. The best illustration is an example of authorisation.
Let me say that I create a Purchase requisition. Once it is released a PO will be created by procurement managerD
This is a business process. However if we look at the system perspective, it can be like this.
    1. Create a PR.
    2. Check the value of the PR
    3. If value <$100,an email needs to be send to person A, if it is $100 to 300$, an email should be send to person B and if >$300, an email should be send to B and C.
4.Once it is released, an email shoudl be send to D for creating a PO on this PR.
Here not only the process, but also how the work is delegated across  various entities of the process is mentioned.
There are softwards like VISIO which actually take care of the business process in the perspective of the entities involved in the process. A workflow is a moredetailed version of business process with the roles of entities clearly defined and hence configured well in the system.
The concept is workflow is mostly used in the processes of authorisations, business activity monitoring(BAM), etc.
Hope I make it little clear to you.
You can reward if my response is of some help to you

  • Difference between business process, sales process and order process

what is the difference between business process, sales process and order process?

    Dear Gopala,
business process is a general definition of the process which you have:
for example, you get an order, you have no goods, but you can produce them, you start an assambly processing, the production order will be created, then the goods will be prepatred, then the delivery will be created, the goods issue booked then your customer gets thwe goods and send the delivery confirmation, you create an invoice etc.etc.
sales process is a part of  a business process.
Sales process shows how you sell the goods, there are different sales document  categories to do this: sales orders, contracts, scheduling agreements etc.
order process is only one of possibilities of the sales process.
Order process is used if you get really a one-time (or at lease not on a regular basis many times) the simple orders where your customer says what goods he would like to receive and when. Then you create a sales order (in dialog transaction VA01) and can create a delivery. There are different types of sales orders in the standard. The customizing of sales order types is available under the transaction VOV8.
I hope, this info help you a little bit further to understand SD design.
    Kind regards,

  • What is the difference between Business System and Business Service?

    Hi
Please tell me what is the difference between Business System and Business Service...? In real time at what situation we will use Business System and in what situations we will use Business Service..? Please help me
    Best Regards
    Ravi Shankar B

    HI,
    Business system:
If you want to address a particular business system as the sender or receiver of messages, choose this service type.
A business system is an actual application system in a system landscape. A business system (service) comprises information about the inbound and outbound interfaces and the software component versions of the business system.
You usually use business system services when configuring internal company processes.
    Business Service:
If you want to address an abstract business entity as the sender or receiver of messages, choose this service type.
Using a business service, you can define the technical or business subunits of the companies involved and then assign them the relevant interfaces.
You usually use business services when configuring cross-company processes. In this case, you only make your interfaces known to the business partners involved and either do not make any details about your own system landscape available, or only specific details.
For example, you can define RosettaNet Partner Interface Processes (PIPs) as business services.

    Sudheer.

  • Want to know the difference among the sap standard schemas TM00/TM01/TM04

    hi, experts
i have read the standard courses HR310 and HR311,but i am still confused about the difference among the three standard TM schemas TM00,TM01 and TM04.
i only learn from the book about it as follows:
TM00: Time evaluation with time events
TM01: Time evaluation for work schedule deviations
TM04: Time evaluation for times entered as hours.
i want to know the details about different forms of time data and different strategies in evaluating the time data in the three standard schemas.
       thanks in advance

    Hi,
TM01: read the actual data, Automatically calculate the overtime with the help of events.
TM04: Negative time evaluation, Get the data from the Work schedules
TM01: Positive/Negative time evaluation: Read the exception of workschedules, get the data from the time events form the 2011IT.
    TM01:
Schema TM01 can be used for time evaluation if you only record
exceptions to the work schedule, and not all times that count as working
    time (actual times).
You can use schema TM01 to import and process time data that has been
    recorded online.
The schema forms time balances, time wage types, and time quotas, and is
processed using the time evaluation driver, RPTIME00.
The valuation basis for time evaluation forms a planned pair, which is
generated according to the planned specifications in the employee's
    personal work schedule.
The planned pairs generally correspond to the time worked. Only
attendances from infotype 2002 and absences from infotype 2001 result in
a difference between planned and actual.
Schema TM01 automatically generates overtime for all attendance times
recorded over and above the planned specifications in the personal work
schedule. If overtime is recorded in infotype 2005, it can be approved
systematically taking account of overtime breaks.
    TM00:
Schema TM00 processes time events that have been recorded at a time
recording terminal, or the time pairs formed from the time events in
pair formation. Attendances and absences are also imported.
Schema TM00 is based on positive recording of time data, that is,
recording all times that count as working time (actual times).
Schema TM00 only evaluates time data with clock times (or full-day
records). The main task of schema TM00 is to classify the actual times
by comparing them to the planned specifications in the daily work
schedule (start and end of planned working time, core times, breaks, and
    so on).
    TM04:
The time worked by the employee is recorded in the Attendances infotype
(2002), and not as clock-in and clock-out times. When processing
clock-in/out times, the emphasis is on the length of time between the
postings and not on the times at which the postings were made.
You can use schema TM04 to process attendances and absences that specify
a number of hours only, rather than concrete start and end times.
The times stipulated in the daily work schedule are not relevant. Only
specifications such as planned hours and minimum daily working time are
evaluated from the daily work schedule.
TM04 caters both for negative time recording (recording of exceptions to
the work schedule) and positive time recording (recording all
    attendances or actual times).
If negative recording is used, the planned hours are generated on the
basis of the daily work schedule. Recorded absences and some attendance
times are deducted (see schema TP01.)
The "Time Management status" indicator in the Planned Working Time
infotype (0007) shows whether all actual times are recorded for an
employee, or only exceptions to the planned specifications.
    Regards:
    Devi.

    HI, Ashely,
U need to do some settings in General data--> Define data carier type,
    Partial Work Step Execution
You must only partially carry out this work step when you want to store the original application files that are accessed using the Knowledge Provider in a secure are . In this case you must only define the data carrier that can be used as a server or frontend computer.
    Complete Work Step Execution
You must execute this step completely when you store original application files in a secure area using DMS and not using the Knowledge Provider
    Note:
SAP recommend storage using only the Knowledge Provider. You decide whether original application files are stored via Knowledge Provider when defining the document type (indicator Storage using Knowledge Provider)
In this step, you define the following settings for data carriers:
    1.Define data carrier type archive
                 Define archives
    2.Define data carrier type vault
                Define vaults
    3. Define data carrier type server, frontend
This activity is done independently of the storage system that is run.
        Define servers
here 3, i think u have to set Mount poit, which are represent third party server.
