The Direct Approval/Reject icons in Approval preview are disabled.

Hi All,
We are in SRM 4.0 Classic scenario and the SC once created goes for the approval workflow as required. The approver can approve the SC in the main approval work list by clicking the approve icon in the 'Action' section or by going to the details section "Approve Purchase" screen.
The Issue now is, approver not able to approve the SC from the Aprpoval work list as the Approve icon is disabled in 'Action' section. The Approver has been assigned the standard role u2013 SAP_BBP_STAL_MANAGER.
What could be the reason for the Issue.
Awaiting for your valuable suggestions.
Thanks & Regards,
Rajan.S

Hi,
Is the issue for only specific user or specific approval task ?
If you have created custom task, you should maintain the customizing.
IMG: SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> SAP Business Workflow -> Define Dynamic Columns for Integration Inbox

    Hi Masayuki
    Maintain entries in tcode SWL1
Maintain Attributes EC_DECISION and EC_MAIL for those tasks that exist within your WF template.
You can also go through the IMG path. "Dynamic column integrator or something like that". I dont have a system in front of me.....

  • Direct Approval/Rejection buttons bid invitation

    Hi,
The Direct Approval/Rejection buttons are disabbled while approving Bid in users Approval inbox.
Actually I have activated wf 14500026, and the wf is only activated manually for the creator.
I have added in tcode SWL1, tasks
    TS79007914
    TS79007919
    TS79007920
and maintained the entry for Attributes EC_DECISION.
    however, buttons still disabled.
    Many thanks!!
    Patricia

    Hi,
    This is not my solution.
    Let me explain clearly
    1. After SC created, Buyer will add Bidders.
    2. Click on approval preview.
    3. It will be showing one concerned approver for Ex: ( MGR1)
    4. A mail will be sending to MGR1.
    5. After that MGR1 should log in and clicked on " approve all items " button.
    6. In the next screen it is asking final confirmation with YES/NO buttons.
Here my requirement is " I need to be displayed a text above these buttons(YES/NO) ".
So, Where do i need to do that, I mean where it is maintianing.
    Please do the needful...!
I will be very much grateful to you..!

  • Quick / Direct Approval not possible for Bid Approval

    Dear Friends,
The Direct Approval/Rejection buttons are disabbled while approving Bid in managers Approval inbox.
Is this a standard functionality? that the manager has to get in the Bid details and then Approve or Reject the Bid.
However the same manager can approve Shopping Cart by just pressing Direct Approval / Rejection button in the Approval Tab list.

    Hi,
Just go in tcode SWL1.There for the BID approval task(see the task no in the worklfow) maintain the entry for Attributes EC_DECISION and EC_MAIL  and then the icons will appear.

  • Problem with "Direct Send Messages" icon on 8350i

The other day I updated the firmware on my 8350i to v4.6.1.128.  I immediately noticed one of the improvements was that Direct Send info from Direct Connect calls weren't filling up my Messages inbox anymore and were instead grouped into one message for each individual contact, instead of one for each time they chirped me.  I also noticed a new blue folder icon on the home screen called "Direct Send Messages," which I figured once clicked on, would take me to my inbox filtered to only display those types of messages - much like the individual icons for each of the multiple email inboxes I have setup (AOL, GMail, etc.).  I also assumed that they would no longer appear in my main Messages app but instead be routed to the new icon much like my MMS messages since I have my inbox options set to "Theme controlled" - but again that is just an assumption and not a big deal for me.
Unfortunately when I click on the "Direct Send Messages" icon, nothing happens.  I am however able to use the "View Folder" menu option in my main Messages app and then select the "Direct Send Messages" folder from there and it works correctly.  I don't know if this is a known issue with the new update or not.
Any suggestions on how to get this working correctly?

Wow! Formal support for all BBs is via the carriers...for them to blow you off like that is pretty horrible. I'd suggest contacting them again and push them a little bit more...you have a support agreement with them, if they are not honoring it, escalate with them.
In the meantime, are you on their most recent device OS level? If not, then you might consider updating to see if indeed what they have said holds some kernel of truth. You can check their DL site via this portal:

  • How to retrive the Direct purchase entries from table level? S_ALR_87012050

    Hi All
In our current project we need to retrieve the direct purchase report from table level. Can you please provide me the direct purchase related table? Normally we are executing the standard report S_ALR_87012050
to extract the direct purchase entries. We need to know which table has the direct purchase entries.
    Regards
    K.Gunasekar

    K,
Your problem description is still insufficiently detailed.
It appears now that you are searching for asset numbers.  Please confirm.
Your selection criteria "Inventory Number NE 0" doesn't appear to make much sense.  Inventory number is not a quantity, it is the name of an object.  I guess it is meaningful you have some inventory numbers named as '0'.  I don't think this setting is causing your problem though.....
You didn't mention which table you accessed to discover that you had a perceived discrepancy.  Which table did you browse to see the results you mentioned?  Please describe the selection parameters for each table you reviewed, and the results for each table that you examined.
It is also the practice of many companies to archive asset data.  If this is the case in your company, then the archived data will not reside in the 'A*" tables.
You mentioned that you used the same parameters to select the data.  How did you select "Report Date" when you did the table extract?  I am not aware of a field that is named "report date' in any of the tables mentioned.
Rather than slog through tables, you might want to try SE16, view "V_ANLAZ".  This is a preconstructed linkage of ANLA and ANLZ that is used by S_ALR_87012050 as a starting point.
I really think you should consult with your ABAPers.  In two minutes they can give you your answers.  It will take me several messages and probably several days to get you the same answers.

  • Approval Preview when the workflow is finished

    Hello,
We have implemented the BADI to get multiple level approvals in Shopping Carts. When we display the approvers via Approval Preview the system works fine if the workflow is in process, but when the workflow is finished we donu2019t display anything.
We have SRM 4.00 and the support package SAPKIBKS13 for SRM_SERVER 500
    Thanks in advance, Juan Manuel

    Hi,
Please check for following excrepts from SAP help sites:
    1. OSS Note 1093840, content here may help to debug.
    2. You are using ad hoc agent objects to determine your agents, do not use rules directly as this limits the functionality
available especially during approval preview and can have knock on effects in the display
    3. Mark any steps you have added that are not approval steps as "step not     in workflow log" - the applet display is based on
the graphical workflow log and unexpected steps can cause unexpected effects in the applet display
    4. Make sure you follow the same pattern based approach if you are adding extra approval steps, e.g. make sure the approval
step itself has the same group name as the other approval steps
Also additionaly check for workflow log(SWi6) . If WF is working fine.
    Thanks

  • The approver does not show in the approval preview after saving sh. cart

    Hi ,
I would appreciate if anyone can reply me for fixing the problem.
Problem: The approver does not show in the approval preview after the shopping cart is saved, however before saving the shopping cart it shows the approver in the approval preview. We are using two workflows: WS10000060 – Auto approval and WS10000276- 1 level spending limit approval.
    Details of the problem:
The following steps specify the problem in detail , it is applicable for both the workflows “WS10000060 – Auto approval and WS10000276- 1 level spending limit approval.”
    1.     Shopping created
    2.     The approval preview shows the approver ( please see #1 in the attached document) before saving the shopping cart.
    3.     Shopping cart is saved.
    4.     After saving , Check status transaction shows the shopping cart in status “awaiting approval”
    5.     The section approval shows “ No workflow started , application error occurred”
    6.     T.Code SWI1 shows the workitem created for the shopping cart but in error.
    7.     The work item container does not show any agents
I would appreciate it anyone can reply as to how to fix it ASAP.

    Hi Disha,
I have synchronised through SWU_OBUF several times since yesterday , but still at the same place.
In the workflow customising - The only red entry which I have is for check entries from HR control tables under Mainiatin definition env. and Mainiatin guded procedure for gateway under guided procedure (new in SRM 5.0) .The verification workflow works fine . Also I think these entries will not impact the workflow functionalhese were red even in my earlier system .
SLG1 shows all green entries and there are no entries in RZ20.
I have specified task TS10008126 as general task as I want anyone who is identified by SLAapprover should be able to process the workitem and as per documentation I can specify this task as standard task.
What should I do.. , anything am I missing .
    Thanks and Best Regards

  • Shopping Cart Approval Preview Issue in the Portal

    Hi Everbody
In My SRM Portal, when the approver changes any text or any date like that in the shopping cart it should come for the accept changes to the creator inbox, and when he sees the approval preview it is showing the creators name, but my functinal guy says that the approval person should be there but not the creator person in the preview and when the creator of the sc accepts the changes it is showing that it is approved by the creator name but he says that it should be approver name not the creator name.

  • Approval preview process controlled workflow

    Hi,
We are using process controlled workflow (N step) for the shopping cart workflows.
While sending the reminder mails to the approvers, we would like to include the approval preview in the email.
In application controlled workflows we could use FM BBP_WFL_DIN_APPR_CONTAINER_GET to get the approval preview details.
Is there a similar function module to pick the approvers/approval status/step name etc for the process controlled workflows so that we can simulate the approval preview?
    Thanks
    BR
    Swetha

Use class /SAPSRM/CL_WF_APV_FACADE. This is used by standard SAP WF Analysis.
    Methods - RETRIEVE_PROCESS_HISTORY, GET_CURRENT_PROCESS_STATE, CREATE_PROCESS_FORECAST.
To analyze more, check the program /SAPSRM/WF_CFG_ANALYSIS_002. Check lines 209...216 (These Lines pull Previous Approved Steps, Current Process Step & Gets the approval forecast). However the REJECTED Items (Accept Decision) work little different (which is not captured by this report).
To Identify the current approval process awaiting decision by the requester of the cart, use method GET_CURRENT_PROCESS_STATE, return parameter structure /SAPSRM/S_WF_PROCESS-PROCESS_LEVEL_LIST-DECISIONSET_LIST-ITEM_STATUS_LIST gets you the current status of the item (ACCEPTED, REJECTED, OPEN, INQUIRED). If ITEM_STATUS_LIST-ITEM_STATUS EQ 'REJECTED', then the WF is waiting for acceptance/resubmission from the requester.
To your specific need, pass DOCUMENT_GUID to the class /SAPSRM/CL_WF_APV_FACADE=>GET_CURRENT_PROCESS_STATE get the return parameter /SAPSRM/S_WF_PROCESS. It will give you PROCESS_LEVEL_LIST. Then loop through DECISIONSET_LIST. It contains Table Types of AGENTS_LIST, ITEM_STATUS_LIST, WORKITEM_LIST. At /SAPSRM/S_WF_PROCESS level, you can get all the details of the current process level details
    Thanks,
    SC
