When switched on the display of my my Apple Ipod Touch comes up as usual and then dimms to such an extend that I cannot see anything. Also when connected to the PC, It shows that there is no content in the Music and Video folders. I restored the OS and upgraded it to 4.2. But the display is even worse. Do help me to sort this out.

If you restored to factory defaults/new iPod and still have a problem then you likely have a hardware problem. An appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I sycned my ipod touch 8GB to my computer and then the storage was full, I had 1.6GB before that and my iCloud backup is off, Any solutions?

Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.
An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files. Usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

we transferred purchases and synced from a iPod touch to a toshiba laptop, after it updated and synced again we have been unable to put the files back onto the ipod. the computer will not let us drag or copy paste files, and when we tried to " export" the library to the documents folder, it only showed up in code. we have books and music we would like to reload to the ipod.

It sounds like you are unable to manually put your content back on your iPod Touch.
It seems like you may need to re enable Manually Manage Music now that the device has been updated, and this article should help with that.

My iPod touch has stopped working in selective areas. The camera turns on, I can see the image but the buttons don't work. The camera then closes.
When I try to access photos, I get a blank page which then closes. The same is true when I try to access mail. Facebook and my music works fine though. Ideas?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I own a blue iPod Touch 5Gen running iOS 7.0.2. I am experiencing sensitivity problems with its home button. Really taking its toll on my thumb. Will Apple India replace the iPod or the home button for me? It is still under warranty but I have bought it in California. I would hate to make an unnecessary trip to an Apple store. Is there a solution to Adobe Bridge CS6 not being able to read raw files from the 5D Mk lll

I like to use Bridge as my overall file organizer. I operate on a Mac version OSX version 10.8.3 and cannot read my raw files in bridge cs6. Does anyone have a solution for this.
Also is Canon putting any pressure on Adobe to fix this?

Not bridge but camera raw. You'll need to update your camera RAW.

At the bottom, there is a link to download Camera Raw 7.4 for Mac and WIndows. Adobe hides there link from their main site to force people to update via Photoshop update feature.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Did you check the encoding?
*Firefox > Web Developer (or View) > Character Encoding
Make sure that UTF-16 isn't selected. Try Western (ISO-8859-1) or UTF-8 in that case.

IPod Touch 2G Turns Itself On And Then Freezes

I just recently got an iPod Touch 2g from the Apple store and have been having issues with it.
The main problem is that after I put it into sleep it will often wake itself up hours later and freeze on the boot logo.
For example I put it in sleep mode about 24 hours ago and about 30 minutes ago it has woken up from sleep mode and is now frozen on the Apple boot logo and will refuse to boot until I reset it.
It has done this a number of times including after a number of restores.
Anyone have any idea what is wrong with my iPod?

Check your Dashboard Widgets.
And check for Login Items. Anything related to iTunes, delete it.
Open System Preferences/Accounts then select the Login Items tab. Delete any files or apps you have listed there. And go to /Library/Startup Items. Move any files in the Startup Items folder to the Trash.

My iPod (4th gen.) has been freezing a lot lately! Ive had it for about 8 monthes now and so today it was really bugging me, so i decided to turn it off. When i turned it back on, there was a picture of the usb connected to iTunes. I was freaking out cause i thought it might delete my things. I went and connected it and let it do its thing. It updated and then it started restored the apps & music but it didnt restore my pictures. I had about 1,500 pictures and i only got back 200. So my question is, can i get them back!? It sounds like the iPod expereienced a problem which esentually erased the iPod. The you updated it and restord from backup. It appears that the backup only had about 200 photos. If the photos are not somewhere else on the computer they are gone.

Photo Stream has only the recent shots in Camera Roll.
If you didn't backup with the appropriate software then it's gone.
