The dock isn't working!

I used Cocktail to lock the dock; then a few days later, Cocktail stopped working, and was trying to force me to buy it. I couldn't use it anymore. Now, my dock is locked, and I can't figure out a way to unlock it unless I buy Cocktail.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Install Onyx... it also has a UI to enable/disable the "lock the dock" feature IIRC.

None of these apps are doing anything clever, they're just providing a UI for undocumented preference settings that you'd normally have to set with a terminal command. So a preference set by Cocktail should be undoable by Onyx, and vice versa.

I have the exact same problem. I have not changed anything. This is probably a bug or something that has gone bad with Mac OS X (10.7.2). I have not found any solution for this on the web.

If you received you phone as part of the contract then surely from a legal pov your contract is with 3 not Apple unless you bought Applecare, if you bought your phone outright then put your 3 SIM into it then yes you'd have to visit an Apple store with your phone's purchase receipt.

I get an error message that the licensing isn't working

I am annoyed by, I think, the same problem. I would like to drag Pages files directly to the finder in the dock, but now with Mavericks I can not do this. It is bothersome to have to click on the finder to open it up when I did not have to do that with the old operating system. I hope someone can help us both out.
I also hope that in the next update Apple addresses the concerns many are having with the newest version of Pages. Until something is changed, I am sticking with old Pages because I find it to be a much better program to use.

Hi! Most probably the side that doesn't sound is broken, I recommend you buying new ones, there are many cheap and good ones on almost every electronic shop. Before, just to be sure, ask a friend for their earphones and just verify the problem is only from your earphones.

The microphone isn't working on my iPhone 6. Worked great for the first month and a half I owned it.

I Bought the new iPhone 6 around the middle of October and around the middle of December the microphone stopped working. I even tried using the earbuds with the mic on them for hands free service but that doesn't work either. It actually makes it worse because with those plugged in, I can't hear the other end as well as not being able to be heard.

The dock doesn't work

Since downloading Mountian Lion today my dock doesn't work.
The Finder simply (and quickly) restarts and the screen flashes grey everytime I hover over it.
There are 2 accounts on my macbook pro. On the other account this doesn't happen.
Do I just wait for an update?

it's a third party app or custom setting you did.
or you might need to reinstall ML, however this sounds like a third party app since it doesn't happen with the other user. think about what you have running in comparison to the other user.

Just repaired cracked iPhone 4 screen and now part of the screen isn't working.

A few days ago, I cracked my iPhone 4's screen pretty badly. I was having absolutely no trouble with the screen after I cracked it, aside from the crack, of course. I just got the screen repaired yesterday and now the bottom left part of the screen sometimes doesn't work. When I'm using the keypad, the following characters are affected:
RDFCX (and sometimes E) 4 ; , } ~
Also, sometimes, when I press that part of the screen, it's as if the phone doesn't recognize my touch. This is affecting scrolling, the ability to move the cursor, and makes it hard for me to unlock my phone because sometimes the bar along the bottom won't slide. However, when I select apps using that portion of the screen on the home screen, it works just fine.
This started yesterday, about 2 hours after I got my screen fixed, then went away on its own a few hours later, and came back this morning.
Does anyone know what this problem is/ what I should do about it? I'm definitely going to go back into the store that fixed my phone and see if they can correct it.
**I did not get my phone fixed at the Apple store, I went to a store called BuyNCell which specializes in repairs of Apple and Blackberry products. I got my screen repaired as well as changed the casing on my phone to white.

This may sound crazy, but download any free app. This often "shocks" the other apps into working.

Middle part of the trackpad isn't working

So earlier, I dropped ONE drop of water on my trackpad, and now the middle part, around a centimeter and a half, doesn't work. For example, if I drag my finger from the top to the bottom of the trackpad, the pointer would go down, then stop at that part, and then go down again once its passed it. Tap to click doesn't work there, but pressing it does, which kind of makes me think that its a minor problem. The problem started earlier, but then it went away after I wiped the water off and it went back to normal, and then I put it to sleep and went out. Now I'm back home and the problem is back, and it won't go away. The first time I opened it after I came back I restarted my laptop. It was still there, so I shut it down and got it back again, then the mouse was literally spazzing and I couldn't do anything. So I just put it to sleep and researched on my phone and tried to clean the sides with a thin piece of paper to absorb all the moisture. I'm not sure if it properly helped, but the spazzing stopped and now it's just the middle part not working. However, when I do press on the middle part for a number of times, it goes spazzing again like crazy. This is extremely frustrating because I'm a student and I won't be able to afford the fix with my own money, plus I don't live in the US so there's no Apple Care here. I also edit videos and pictures A LOT on my laptop and have gotten very very comfortable with the trackpad, so just using a mouse won't work too well for me.
Is there any way to fix this? I have Macbook Pro Mid 2012, OSX Yosemity.

FIrst rule out if it is a software problem. If a Reset doesn't work, it might be a hardware problem that requires replacement (if still under warranty) or a fix.
Try to Reset your device.
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off that shows up first).

The slider isn't working.

When I try to unlock my ipod the slider will not go all the way over to unlock the ipod. Any suggestions?

Push harder!
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
