  • Need the document about how to apply SP7 on GRC5.3

I cannot find it on SMP.
    Would you please provide?
    Thanks!

    Hi Christy,
Appying SP07 is same as you have applied other earlier patches, like SP05,SP06.
Just download all the patches from SAP market place and put these on /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in directory. then open JSPM and start deployment.
It is very easy. If you need anything else then please let me know.
    Thanks,

  • Document about EL

Could anyone tell me where the document about EL of SOA Suite is?

I guess that with EL you mean expression language. The expression language used in SOA Suite is XPath 1.0. See http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_manipdoc.htm#sthref569 for how to use it in a BPEL process.

  • Want Document about performance matrix for WLS 5.1,6.1,7.0 and 8.1

    hi,Guys
Where can I find the document about weblogic 5.1,6.1 , 7.0 and 8.1
server performace matrix? currently we want to update our system from
5.1 to the most recent WLS, everyone know WLS 8.1 is running faster than
5.1, who can tell me how faster it can be based on very generically way.
    thanks,
    Roy

Where can I find the document about weblogic 5.1,6.1 , 7.0 and 8.1
server performace matrix?Roy asks a great question - and I've been searching Weblogic site for the info
    myself.
From a management perspective, it takes time and money to upgrade to the latest
    WLS.
I need to put together a business case for management illustrating a Cost/Benefits
    analysis.
If I can point to sources were people upgraded from 5.1/1.3.1 to 8.0/1.3.1 and
achived an XX% increase; then I can relate that to the cost of upgrading hardware/etc
    - and better decide where to spend the money.
If anybody has the numbers or experience - I'd love to hear from you.
    Thanks

You can't change the way Pages import .doc files.
It was never written that it reproduce exactly the original one.
From my point of view, as I refuse to give a cent to M...soft, the best way to deal with documents issued by their Office suite is to use the free libreOffice.

  • About updating  long text  in the document item  with bdc of fb02

    HI,
I have a question about updating  long text  in the document item of sap:
Can I directly updating the long text information with the fuction save_text?
The long text is in :
tcode: fb02 -->input document no ... --> Document overview --> select one document
long text --> updating the value.
Becaust I want to update some items in a G/L Account with bdc or other technique, but I found I can't   choose the items in the G/L Account with bdc automatically .That means I can't get the selected items and update them.So I try to update them with the function save_text  directly (I know the doc no,bukrs, fiscal year ,item no which will decide the long text item).
Who can help me ?Or is there any way to solve the problem? Thanks very much.

Yes, you can update directly using SAVE_TEXT.
    Check this for the same.

  • Where can I find the detail document about certain method of a class?????

Moved to correct forum by moderator
    Hi everyone,
where can I find the detail document about certain method of a class?????
e.g.  the class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID , when I was going through the class and looking
at the methods, sometimes the method description is just like the method name,
and I cannot know what the method does.
so, I am wondering  where I can find the detail information about the class???
Edited by: Matt on Dec 4, 2008 11:55 AM

    Hi,
Most of the times the SAP itself provides the documentaion of the CLASS. when you click on the METHOD name the METHOD DOCUMENTATION button you can see on the application tool bar.
more over the names of the methods suggest what it is going to do.
    SET_ATTRIBUTE( sets the attribute)
GET_ATTRIBUTE( gets the attribute value that is provided to the method)
    GET_CHILDNODE
    BIND_TABLE
    etc
    like this

  • Confuse about the document

Hi,all . From the document ,i had confused about the following .
Automatic Undo Management in Oracle RAC
    url >> http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/rac.102/b28759/adminrac.htm#CHDGAIFJ
Oracle automatically manages undo segments within a specific undo tablespace that is assigned to an instance. Only the instance assigned to the undo tablespace can modify the contents of that tablespace. However, each instance can read the undo data blocks created by any instance. Also, when performing transaction recovery, any instance can update any undo tablespace, as long as that undo tablespace is not currently being used by another instance for undo generation or transaction recovery
what's the meaning of above that is bold ?

Say you're running a 2-node RAC and node 2 dies. The services which were running on node 2 now get re-located to node 1. It is then possible that node 1 will perform transaction rollback/recovery and, when it does so, it will need to be able to read from node 2's undo tablespace (and maybe update the undo segment headers in node 2's undo tablespace, too).

  • I need some info about the Document Class.

    Hi,
I need some information about the Document Class, can anybody
tell me where I can find it.
    thanks

    Emad Zedan,
    > I need some information about the Document Class, can

The concept of the document class was introduced in Flash
    CS3. What it
does is allow you to optionally associate a custom AS3 class
    with your FLA
in the Flash authoring tool. Your document class effectively
    *becomes* the
main timeline. This is your chance to influence the
    underlying behavior of
the MovieClip or Sprite instance that serves as the
    foundation for your SWF.
If you don't associate a custom document class with your
    FLA, the FLA is
associated automatically with a default document class called
    MainTimeline,
    which extends MovieClip.
