The download of Reader 9.4 on a MAC Power PC with OS 10.4.1 does not unarchive and run.

I have downloaded the latest version of reader that will run on this older MAC PowerPC. The message says "Unarchiving" and nothing happens. Do I have to remove all older copies of Reader?

Hi: I downloaded the program that will uninstall previous versions of Reader and it's an "exe" file, which obviously won't run on my Power PC MAC. I have not had any problems with ZIP files that I can remember.

You can just drag the file to the trash. If you want you can remove the pdf plug-in from the internet-plug in folder, but that should not be necessary to correct your problem.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
As you know how to open the iTunes Media folder, go to this folder and open iTunes. Then, go to Apps in iTunes and drag the IPA file of the app you want to show up to the iTunes window, so it should be added.
If it doesn't work, delete the IPA, empty the Trash and you will be able to download the application.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".

Did you subscribe to an online service like ExportPDF, PDF Pack, ...?

Did you ever install Acrobat? It is not installed automatically with CS, but requires an extra installation step.
