The ear microphone on my Iphone 4 has stopped working as have the touch pad tones. Everything else appears to be ok including the microphone at the base of the unit
The phone works fine on hands free and external headsets its just when I want to use it as a phone! I have noticed a couple of times that when I have dialled the number and cannot hear a response the mute key is highlighted. Even when I cancel this I cannot hear the person on the end of the call. Furthermore the touch pad tones have gone as well. I haven't tried restoring the phone yet but not sure what data I may lose if I did that
I would call Apple tech support, which is excellent. Or take the phone to your local Apple store - not AT&T or Verizon, as the Apple techs specialize in Apple products and are somewhat fanatical about them.
Regarding the photos, they are probably still on the simm card in the phone and recoverable. Check with the Apple folks to get them back... sorry about your pet!

The ringer switch on the side of my Iphone 4S has stopped working and the phone is now turning itself on and off silent without me touching any buttons. Will this be covered under warrenty? I have had the phone for less than a year. Although I have had the screen replaced, and wondered if this may void the warrenty?
Yes, the screen replacement (I am assuming by you our a 3rd party) voided your warranty.

I want to know if my problem will be solved or if I have to fight in court to get what is rightfully mine and equipment that really works.

This will be covered by the 1 year Warranty. Make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution. Until then try Settings App > Accessibility > Assistive Touch > ON > tap new white screen button > Device > Lock Screen. This can even turn iPhone OFF. To turn ON, connect to power, charger or USB of computer.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

New Adobe Photoshop elements 11-can not share pictures. I do use AOL email. Get error of "Elements 11 Organ. has stopped working, I have looked into sharing tab and my only option is Adobe email settings. My iPad 2 home button has stopped working all together, I have tried the swivel from landscape to portrait whilst holding the home button, I've tried pressing the off switch then pressing the home button, the other thing I was advised to do was create a home button in the settings under the accessibility option but I don't have the option I was advised to use under there! Help! It's really frustrating having to turn the device off everytim I want to switch apps and I really can't afford to send it away to be mended! Many thanks in advance
The accessibilty setting that was mentioned is:
* Enable AssistiveTouch
Enable AssistiveTouch which floats a virtual button on-screen which can mimic all hardware buttons on the device:

*Note* If you power off the device using the AssistiveTouch panel (tap the on-screen AssistiveTouch button, Device>Lock Screen (tap and hold to power off)), you will NOT be able to power on the device *if your Sleep/Wake (power) button is not functioning*. You will need to connect the powered off device either to a PC's USB port or an external charger to power the device back on. -
