When, I give the print option in my printer HP Laser Jet 1005, the error is occured that Spooler SubSystem App has encountered a problem and needs to be close. And the Computer is hanged. Go to the computer that the HP F4280 printer is connected to.
Click on Start --> Printer and Faxes
Right click on HP Deskjet F4280 and select Properties
Click on Advanced tab
Uncheck "Enable advanced printing features"
click OK
And it works!

I get this error when trying print over my wireless network with my new HP Deskjet F4280 all in one. Desktop hooked up ehternet to a D-Link WBR-1310 router, Laptop running wireless on router. Both computers running XP home. Setup network on both computers with network wizard, installed all HP software/updates on both computers.
Tried connecting printer to the other computer and printing the other direction with the same results. Used HP live chat help last night with no results. Tried all the Microsoft automatic and manual fixes after searching for the error. Turned on printer sharing as usual.
When the error occurs it stops print spooling service on the computer the printer is connected to directly. don' know how to correct print spooler problem. Using XP Pro & HP Officejet Pro All in One L7590. Nothing new on computer. Will not print standard data either, but did print the test print from HP. Details are "sz App name: spoolsv.exe, sz App ver: 5.1.2600.6024; sz Mod name: hpz3r58a.dll, sz Mod Ver: 61.63.263.23, offset: 00104a8d. Have also had msg "need to install printer, but all printers on control panel are "ready". Tried HP diagnostic. Am not technically experienced but have been using computer for years.

I'm getting the "spooler subsystem app has encountered and error" message
Greetings. I have one XP machine wired to a router, and one Win7 Laptop connected wirelessly. I install the printer driver for the Deskjet D2530 on the XP machine, and I can print. Then I install the printer driver for the Deskjet D2530 on the laptop, and go to "add Printer". I see the printer on the network, try add it, and the installation completes. Then when I attempt to print, the error message comes up on the XP machine.
The next step was to try the "hp print and scan tool'. I ran it on the XP machine and NFF; on the Win7 laptop, it said there was a driver conflict and that I should uninstall the printer driver software, and install the "full featured" version. I did that, and no difference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. ThanksMicrosoft has a fix for this on XP operating systems:

* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable. (Remove also is available for some extensions, but not the ones that Firefox found in a registry scan or shared folder elsewhere on your system.)
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

If you cannot access the Add-ons page, try starting Firefox in Safe Mode, since that deactivates extensions and hopefully will stop that message from coming up long enough to get to the Add-ons page.

When I open iTunes, I receive an error that reads "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the convenience." 1. In Add/Remove Programs I deleted all Apple products (iTunes, QuickTime, Safari, Bonjour, etc.)
2. I then check C:\Program Files\ and made sure all folders were deleted (QuickTime, etc.)
3. I then ran a Registry Cleaner program to make sure all entries from Apple products were removed.
4. I then rebooted my PC
5. I then downloaded iTunes8.0.2 from here: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/ipod_itunes/itunes802forwindows.html
6. After it installed it said it could use my iTunes library file because it was created with a newer version. So I re-created my library by following these steps: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1451
It took some time but iTunes is now back up and running. And I have all my playlists, etc. I haven't tried to sync anything yet. I'm just thrilled to have my iTunes back! -

I am having trouble with adobe indesign CS5. Each time I opened my document an error occur indesign.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. It got send report and don't send report to Microsoft. I have already used google web as a help and nothing came up. I have already tried to uninstall and re-install it but still same issue occured. Other Adobe products such as Adobe Dreanweaver CS5 and Adobe Flash CS5 work fine.I would greatly appreciated if you can walk me through. Thanks.
Windows error reports are too vague to help us much. Did you get an error number?
Is this happening now every time you start ID? That would likely mean the recovery data is damaged. You can find the InDesign Recovery folder in your user profile. This folder is probably hidden, so you'll need to set Windows Explorer to show hidden and system files, then look in the same directory as the location of InDesign Defaults, which you can find for your version of Windows in the information in this link: Replace Your Preferences
Once you find the InDesign Recovery folder, either rename or empty it, then ID should start normally. If you file crashes again when you try to open it from the file menu please tell us as much information as you can. -

I did a search on this error code (c0000005) and there seems to be a workaround but no solutions, why is this? I ask that because this problem seems to be years and years old, going back to at least 2005 (do the math that is 10 years).
I don't even have the Camera hooked up and I get this error on download. I redownloaded everything and reinstalled. After decades, I finally gave up on Microsoft and bought a MacBook Pro. However, for work, I still have to use Microsoft. When I try to edit a Word Document in any way a screen pops up saying Microsoft Word has encountered a problem and needs to close; gives me an option to recover my work and restart Word; when I click that option Word restarts but I alway lose my work. This just started; before it was working fine. Help?

OpenOffice (completely free)
In addition to the above I also recommend Apple's Pages ($19.99). All of these options allow you to open, edit, and save Word-formatted documents and spreadsheets. I use OpenOffice and Pages and have been completely Microsoft - free for over a year now. Life is better without Microsoft. -
