The errors are not on the actual browser

Some errors which are actually not there in actual browser are visible in Adobe Browserlab and vice versa.

Similarly to what I replied on your other post, I'm sorry to hear you're having problems. We are striving to make our capture utilities perform identically to the browsers themselves, but sometimes issues do slip past us and we appreciate hearing about them. Can you provide a URL that shows an example of where you're seeing this behavior?

Pricing errors are not cleared after fixing the master data

Hi All,
Kindly go through the issue explained below.
Pricing is determined properly in transaction level(Oppt) when the master data is correct. cool.
System shows pricing error (Mandatory condition 0PR0 is missing, Pricing could not be determined) when price(condition record) is not maintained in product. This is also fine. Now the issue is, Pricing errors are not going away from Opportunity even after the master data(product) fixed with maintaining pricing.
Scenario : Opportunity is saved with pricing errors.
Analysis : Price or/and Sales area are not maintained in Product that is maintained in Oppt. That is why this error occurs. So, we have maintained the Sales area/Price(condition record) in product. Now master data is corrected.
Expected result: After maintaining the price/sales area in product, the errors should go off from the created Opportunities and pricing should be determined properly.
Actual result: When we create a new opportunity with the same product, pricing is determined. But the errors are not going away from the already created opportunity transactions.
Please let me know if this scenario is not clear to understand.

URL iviews are not cached in client browser!!!

Hi All,
We have URL ivews of ASP.NET pages in our Portal Home page.
Those ASP.NET pages are located in MS Windows Server (IIS).
It takes long time to load the Portal Home page.
We set the Allow Client-Side Caching - Yes, Cache Level - Shared, Cache
Validtiy Period: 7.59.59 for all URL iviews.
For the Home page which contains all URL iviews Isolation Method
property is set to Embedded.
We set "Enable Content Expiration" - 8 Hours for the "Root - virtual
directory" in IIS.
When I browse those pages with the URL directly in IE (outside Portal).
It runs faster and returns with HTTP status code "cached".
All the pages including HTML are cached in client browser.
When I logged into portal all images, css and javascript files are
cached in the client browser but not the HTML content. It returns with
HTTP status code 200 whick means URL iviews are not cached in client browser.

Hi Thruna,
The only header which influences caching behaviour in your request is the 'Cache-Control: private' header, which afaik means that the page cannot be cached by a shared cache (such as a web proxy), but can be cached in a personal proxy such as the browser cache.
However the headers do not specify a specific expiration date which means that the browser cannot know how long the response can be cached and thus has to check validity every browser session. The most optimistic scenario would be that the browser checks if the cached entry is still valid by requesting the resource and adding a If-Modified-Since or If-None-Match header. The server could then respond with a 304 Not Modified, skipping sending the actual resource in the response body.
If you want the resource to be fully cached you have to give it an expiration date in the future. This has to be done in the IIS server, maybe through ASP tags in the page.
I do not know why the page is loading from cache in the non-portal scenario but I can only suggest that you make absolutely sure the cache item was not validated already in the session.

After rebuild all compile time dependency and syntax might be checked and something is missing then errors suppose to come.

EJB adapter errors are not catched by the composite fault handler

I got a serious problem in soa suite 11g ps3 that ejb adapter failures are not catched by the soa suite fault framework.
for example when I do a persist of an entity on a EJB session bean and I dont provide all required fields I get a rollback error when the BPEL component is finished.

what I did is to set idemponent = false on the partnerlink but then the invoke fails instead of the bpel ( same error ) and still no compensate or catch in bpel.
Added the fault policies to the composite and rethrowed the error to BPEL. Still no luck.
But then replaced the EJB adapter with the db adapter which does the same insert as the EJB and I got a nice bpelx:bindingFault which I can catch and handle.

All the cubes are not visible in cube browser of Voyager

After following the steps below:
1. Login to Central Mangagement Console.
2. Click on Voyager Connection to see the list of avaliable connection.
3. Click on New button(present below the manage menu) to create a connection.
4. Give name and chose the type of server you want to connect from the providers list.
5. Now Give the server name and click on connect button.
6. Give the username and password and click on ok
7. Select the cube you want connect from the cube browser and click on OK button.
I am not viewing all the cubes in cube browser. Do I have to make any setting/ maintain in BI to view the cubes in cube browser.
Any suggestion/solution?

The tables are not listed in table browser (Designer) MS SQL 2005 SP3

Database: SQL 2005 SP3, using ODBC Connection
Database name: Test_7.6_Reporting
Business Objects XI3.1 SP2
When I open the table browser, I see all my databases listed.
If I expand these I see three folders - Information_Schema, dbo and Sys, it doesn't show anything after i expand dbo.
I need to know how to get these tables to show.

This seems odd. All I can think of is that there may be a security issue. Maybe it doesn't register you as dbo. Check into the possible security differences between you and a user who can see those tables under dbo.

Isn't it time Firefox blocked Pop Unders as they hi-jack the actual browser

Pop Unders, NOT Pop Ups, hi-jack the Firefox browser when they load up. When I close the window with the pop Under, the whole Firefox browser closes. I would have thought that Firefox would be annoyed at this as the Pop Under advert has taken over control of the browser.

What is the web address? What is on the pop?

But i cant find the string "could not be activated"

Nodes and links are not displaying in IE10 browser - mapviewer ps6

Hi,
Node and link are not visible on the IE10 browser where as in IE9 they are displaying properly.
In IE10 browser ,
when we set compatibility settings - Display All websites in compatibility view --> node are displaying properly.
when we deselect this node are not displaying properly
Is there any existing bug on mapviewer?

try opening Terminal, and running the following command in the Terminal window:
nslookup www.pinatize.me
If you still have access to some of those other Mac computers, try running the same command on them also for comparison.
Please include in your reply the full output from that command.

The errors are not on the actual browser
