What's the extension name? Please remove and reinstall it as it has likely been updated.

Extension could not be loaded because it was not properly signed

Followed the steps on the tutorial to get an extension created in eclipse. I can export it and run it just fine, but it won't load when running from eclipse. I get the error: "extension could not be loaded because it was not properly signed." I can't seem to find where to configure this. Any help is appreciated.

I need to use "Microsoft.TeamFoundation.WorkItemTracking.Common, Version=11.0.0.0" dll in my code.
But when I try to build my application I get the below error.
"Could not copy the file "C:\Microsoft.WITDataStore.dll" because it was not found."
And when I try to include version 12 of the same dll , code gets build successfully. And when I try to consume the code(which uses the dll) I get
'Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.TeamFoundation.WorkItemTracking.Client.DataStoreLoader,

Hi Uma,
You might check whether the version 11 of the assembly is referenced or added into soruce control. When use the referenced files, please use the relative path for building. If the version 11 of the assembly is not added, please add it to source control and
make sure it's referenced correctly.
It would be better to let us know the TFS version that you're using. And you can also use version 12 if the assembly works fine. If you have any other concerns, elaborate your scenario with more details.

Alias could not be opened because original was not found

I recently had to re-format my HD due to error with the face, all was running fine until today. I had backed up all my files to my external hard drive prior to the HD crash. Photos and Itunes. Problem is today my i photo library was gone as well as my itunes music. When i tried to restore the folder I could not open my files that are .jpg saved on my external drive. I did the shift+option key when starting I photo to recreate the folder, but I still can't open my files in the external drive. Obtained the error "Alias .jpg could not be opened because the original could not be found". Are these pictures now lost forever? I can see the .jpg on my external drive. I click on it and it ask me to fix, and choose , but everything is grayed out. Also now my computer doesn't recognize my ipod to sync since the itunes library has been changed or something. the folder was there , but non of my music. Thank you for responding. I am really hoping I can get my photos at least back. Here is what I did. I thought I was being smart by backup up my folders which contained my photos and music to my external hard drive, however I must not understand how mac does this. I dragged and dropped both my itunes folder and iphotos folder to my external hard drive and checked to see if they were there. I though great all looked great. We use Visual Studio Online and the integrated continuous integration (build server) from Microsoft. We have a solution that contains multiple projects two of which are latest MVC projects. I updated a bunch of our Nuget packages yesterday and now we are
getting a build error one of our MVC projects. Any help is greatly appreciated as I have exhausted my resources trying to understand why the error is occurring!
We use nuget for our external libraries, the solution and projects and set to use Nuget Restore (no packages persisted in TFS).
We updated Angular to the latest version using Nuget updates inside of visual studio. Here an excerpt from packages.config in the project file. The first block is what was found in the packages.config before the update and the second block is after the
update.

I looked at the change log of my check-in and noticed that the errors occur for Angular script references that were updated. New angular references (adds in the TFS changeset) are being copied without errors. Example: angular-animate.js was edited
in the Angular update in TFS but angular-aria.js is a new file in the package so new file in TFS.
Using Source Control Explorer I verified the location of the files, the new and the existing files from the Angular nuget package can all be found in the Scripts folder of the MVC project. I can also view the content of each file file without issue.
The references in the project file (csproj) are all consistent too, I can't see any differences between the files that cause failure and those that do not. The following block is a direct copy/paste from the csproj file

Hi Igor,
For your situation, make sure you checked in your source files after updating Angular. You can also check the whether the foders for the Angular reference are under source control in source settings tab of your build definition.
You can also build locally using MSBuild to see if the building works fine. We have to make sure local build succeed before VSO build since TFS build use MSBuild as its default compiler. Check the links below to see if they are helpful:

Could not complete the command because the extension could not be loaded

I was working in 3D with PS CS5 Extended. I went to the Window drop down menu and selected Color. I got the message "Could not complete the command because the extension could not be loaded" and the color pallet and swatches would not appear. I had to click on OK the error message three times to get rid of it as it kept reappearing. The the mini bridge and Brush pallets opened, including Brush Presets tab and Clone Source tab instead of the color pallets. How can I get my color pallets back?
I am on an iMac Intel core i3 running OS X Lion 10.7.2

I unstalled Photoshop. Then I installed on another drive. External. It did the same thing!!!! No mini-bridge, or any extentions loading. I don't know what is wrong.

I have trouble with porting my extension to CEP5. I am getting error "Cannot complete command because the extension could not be loaded." when I open the panel.
Is there any way to get more info about what happened and why? My extension was properly signed zxp and Extension Managed installed it without trouble.
Also, to debug the problem, I tried to open the CEP HTML Test Extension - https://github.com/Adobe-CEP/Samples/tree/master/CEP_HTML_Test_Extension_5.0
I have copied it to "~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/com.adobe.CEPHTMLTEST", created .debug file in it (https://gist.github.com/m6k/39a49786b7a85a9e312b), created empty .debug file inside Photoshop CC 2014.app (to suppress signature checking). When I open Photoshop CC 2014, I see test panels listed in extension menu, but when I try to open them, I also get the "Cannot complete command because the extension could not be loaded." error.
Any hints what i am doing wrong and what can I do to debug this problem?

When clicking in CS5 Photoshop menu - "Essentials", "New is CS5 "or "CS LIve", I get a message "Cannot complete command because the extension could not be loaded". PCNS can successfully deliver the password change to an AD target, so PCNS should be OK.

So, I think it looks like it should be trying to run the dll under the 4.0.30319 framework. The documentation says that framework is required and we are running it.
The dll is in the Extensions folder.
Has anyone seen this before or something like it? Any ideas on where else I could check?

I tried a few different modifications to the miiserver.exe.config (as well as Mmsscrpt.exe.config and the Dllhost.exe.config files). I tried changing 4.0.30319 to 4.0 as per this article:

Even though we are only on FIM R2 (not on SP1), I tried a variation on the config file changes recommended here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2772429 but I referenced the newVersion as 4.0.1.0.
Still no luck.

The black screen can be an indication of permission issues or other things. Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
