The Facebook app and the Safari keep closing every time I wanna see my photo or my friends photo and it keeps irritating me can anyone explain what's happening with it and if so can you describe it as clearly as you can?
Please help me figure out why these apps keeps closing I really need to know why. Please !!!

My iPhone is not syncing and iTunes is going wack. Can anyone explain what's happening?
I guess this could constitute mainly as an iTunes problem, but there is disconnect with my IPhone 5. I have just recently added new songs to my iTunes and when I plugged my iPhone in, it didn't sync. At first I really didn’t care much about it. It usually does the same thing to my younger sister’s iPod touch. I assumed that all I’d have to do is go to my song menu and check the artists and songs I wanted to add. After doing this, I clicked apply and then sync and still the music didn’t download. Again, I didn’t worry much about it (and this could be my mistake) and I tried another solution that helped me with my old iPhone. I just checked off of music as a whole, clicked apply, synced, and then waited for iTunes to tell me the sync was over. This was unsuccessful. On iTunes, under ‘On this iPhone’ it said I had no music, however my iPhone still had all of my songs and playlists. This confused me so I took it a step further and caused more damage. I rechecked music (this time clicking add entire music library as opposed to only checked items), applied the changes, plugged my iPhone back in, and synced again. My iPhones library did not change. The number of songs I had remained the same. However, this time on the computer, iTunes told me I only had three songs under ‘On this iPhone’ but the capacity bar below told me a completely different number of songs than the ‘On this iPhone’ section and the number of song read on my iPhone. At this point I gave up meddling with everything and ejected my iPhone. I don’t want to delete and re-upload iTunes to my computer unless I absolutely have to (because I will lose all of my purchased music, apps, books, etc.). Does anyone know what’s wrong with my devices? Is there an easy fix, and if I have to delete and reload iTunes is there a way to do it without losing all of my stuff? I’m desperate for help, I don’t want to mess with it any more unless I’m absolutely sure the next time I plug my phone in it won’t experience and ultimate malfunction. Anyone with a solution is greatly appreciated.

I do agree with the statement that it cannot handle dual processors. I swapped the the "original" working CPU with the "original" one I thought was giving me problems. It is now running (although showing as single) with the CPU I thought was bad. Both sets, original and untested, will work together and register as dual, but will be unreliable and randomly freeze.

I'm having trouble narrowing down that part. I can swap them back and forth and get the same result-so both sockets seem to be working. But like I said when both pairs are couple together, it shows as dual, and it works for a certain amount of time. So I know they are working to a certain degree. But when they're mixed, only one (don't know which one) is being seen.
Yes, I've run thermal calibration and everything goes fine. Even with the diagnostic disc, when the CPUs are mixed, hardware specs show one CPU. But when the original pairs are coupled, it will show both.
This is like a splinter that I can't get out. It runs great as one CPU, and I could let it go like that, but knowing that it could (and should) be dual is driving me nuts.
Is there anything either of you can think of that I can try?

Seems like some simple test code right? Shouldn't generate any output at all right? Now take that sample and go run it. Are you staring at a jumble of oddly encoded characters that basically contain all of the unprocessed CFML code on the page? Because that's exactly what I'm looking at.
It's the craziest thing! The root issue is the "utf-16" attribute of the XML declaration. If you remove that or change it to something like "utf-8", everything is fine. The points that really muddle my brain are:
The XML declaration is inside a "cfsavecontent" tag so it should just be a string
The "cfsavecontent" should not even be evaluated because it's inside of a "cfif" that's hard-coded to false
My coworker came across this while trying to save some XML as a string so he could write it to a file later. It really seems like a crazy bug to me but I'd like to hear what others think is going on here. For your info, we're running CF9 standard on a Win2k8 R2 system.The only thing I can think is that the file itself is saved with UTF-16 encoding, and the CF compiler is baulking at that. That said, I emulated this on my PC and my CF install (same as Duncan's, we work in the same office) dealt with it just fine.
If the file is saved in any sort of non-ANSI encoding, you will need a <cfprocessingdirective> at the top of the file to tell the CF compiler how to read the file.

Can someone explain what's happening with my music library?
When I switched to my iPhone 5 I synced my music the way I always did through iTunes but when I checked the "on this iPhone" tab in iTunes it shows I have more songs on the iPhone than the Music tab does, many of which are grayed out and have a circle next to them. I tried un-syncing all the music which I understand is to remove all music from the device. After doing that it shows in the Music tab that nothing is syncing but in the "on this device" tab it still looks like this:
So it's showing these 82 songs, plus the weird grayed out ones, even though they shouldn't be there.
Can anyone tell me what's going on here, what that circle means, why it shows the songs even though they aren't there? And more importantly, can it be fixed? I tried resetting the device and everything early on and it didn't work, so maybe it's baked in at this point. Any help is appreciated.The dim ones are in iCloud, not in your library. If you don't want to see them go to the iTune View menu, "Hide items in the cloud"

I was just watching a video on Youtube and then all of a sudden my entire machine freezes, and it logged out me out completely to the main login screen? There was that tiny loading rotate logo in the screen also.

It sounds like after updating to iOS 4.2.1 your phone is not picking up the cellular signal.
I would recommend the steps from this article named:

Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Remove the SIM card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About while connected to a Wi-Fi network. If an update is available, a prompt should appear soon. If Wi-Fi is not available, connect your device to iTunes.
Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
Restore the iPhone.
If you're still experiencing No Service issues, contact your carrier to check for any network or account issues that could cause this issue.

While I'm using facebook in my iPad with Safari browser,sometimes it will just switch to main menue.It also happened with the Facebook apps from the apple store. And the color of the bookmark area becomes black instead of a normal grey color.
Then if you have tried all the browsers try connecting the system to yoour router with an Ethernet cable and turn WiFi off. If you have the same problem then it more then likely after your computer, Router or modem or connection from your ISP.
If you get good browsing with the Ethernet cable then it is either the WiFi card in your Mac or the WiFi system in your router. -

Have an iphone 3G and wen to install the Facebook app from the app store. Wen I selected install app, it said that the iphone requires IOS 4.3.
I then plugged the phone into itunes and it said the phone was up to date (IOS 4.2.2 I think it said?). How can i install these apps, the same happened and other apps i tried to install. Any advice would be much apprecaitedUnfortunately there is nothing that you can do and you CAN'T install these apps becuse your phone is too old. A 3G cannot be updated beyond iOS 4.2, which is the most it can support and these apps need iOS 4.3 or above to be installed and there are no versions of these apps available.
Developers have to place a cut off somewhere and keep developing for the most recent software that does not now include the 3G.
If you want to install these apps on your phone, then you will have to upgrade to either an iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 4, 4s or 5. That is all you can do because you won't be able to download these apps on an iPhone 3G - just not possible any longer. -
when trying to sync my iphone in itunes i keep getting the error message "itunes cannot sync apps because the apps installed on the iphone could not be determined." can anyone explain what this means?
I received the same error message after I had recently updated iTunes to 10.5.1 and I had wirelessly updated 13 apps. I had to go into iTunes and select Apps, on the bottom right it said I needed to update 13 apps. I updated the apps via iTunes and then synced again without an issue.

My iPhone 4 froze when I was using the Facebook app. The only thing moving is the indicator at the top spinning to show its "thinking." Its been like this for about an hour, I can't even turn it off. Any ideas (other than letting the battery go dead)?
Thank you, I've tried that but it won't work either, the logo never comes up. It just stays on the FB app screen. I tried connecting to iTunes to see if I can fix something from there and it freezes iTunes. Also tried disconnecting the wifi (I don't know how I thought that would help but worth a try) and plugging it into the charger but still nothing. I think I'll have to visit the store tomorrow. I appreciate it, though!

Can anyone explain what the "other" (yellow colour) section in the HDD usage description is for and what it does.It is under the about this mac section and storage option?

All of your 'stuff' that is not Music Movies Apps Backups or Photos is in Other, that means all your emails, all your files etc, why don't you just leave well enough alone, this is not windows and doesn't need tinkering with, -

I would not worry about Other because they contain files that you need, but if you want to decrease the size, start deleting downloads and documents -
I have downloaded ios 5.1.1 and the wifi has stop working or it would stay on for less then 20min its only 9 months old can someone explain what is happening and if some know how to fix it
I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

Since syncing with iCloud all my photos in my photo app are much lower resolution than they were before. Can anyone explain what happened an how I might get back my high resolution photos?

Unfortunately I don't have iPhoto (running Windows).
I did, however, figure out a work-around.
I created an empty directory on my computer, and told iTunes to "Sync Photos from..." that empty directory. This deleted all the photos from the iPod (go figure).
I then set the "Sync Photos from..." dropdown back to directory that actually contained all my photos, and sync'd again.
And, yes, they all loaded onto the iPod at their better, higher resolution.

The system extension "System/Library/Extensions/CDSDAudioCaptureSupport.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact product's vendor for an update.
