The file archive part of adobe is missing?

I just downloaded Premiere and Elements ( or is it the same thing...i'm really new to this) and it is says the file archive part of adobe is missing. It's saying I need to download/locate it? What do i do?

I ended up having to do the live chat with someone at Adobe and they ended
up sending me links to download the applications not sure what else you can
do it was awhile ago so I don't really remember what happened

Do as it says: Put your downloaded 7z file and the *.exe in a proper folder, not just dump it onto your desktop or whatever.

There is only one file to download - which one depends on your system (32-bit or 64-bit).
These are the trial versions but will convert to the full version when you supply your serial number.

Try extracting all of the files from the zip file first. I received this same error when trying to run the exe from within the zip.

It seems that you have only downloaded .exe file. You need to download two file .exe and .7z and put it in a same folder and then try to run .exe

It sounds like your downloaded archive file the big is eithe corrupt or not where it should be. That file is a 7Zip file which can be extracted with 7zip. If the downloaded file is bad delete it and download it again Download CS5 products

Apologies for your incovinience.
Requesting you to please go to https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=us. When you click on download button (after selecting your OS details), it should open a new browser window (which will launch the Akamai installer automatically). Please cancel any installation or error shown.
The newly opened browser page will look something like this:
As highlighted, please click on these links (one by one) and see if it downloads the required files. The downloaded files will be compressed with 7z format. If you have some extracting tool (like WinZip) try extracting it. If you don't have it, download 7z. Its a free utility from Microsoft. Once downloaded and installed, you will be able to extract file and locate the PSE setup.

did you download directly from adobe.com, or indirectly from prodesigntools.com?
and what is your os?

But they are in the same folder and downloaded correctly as:
PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ.exe
PhotoshopElements_11_LS15.7z

But it only says that both have to be downloaded completely (they are) and in the same folder!

that 7z is not the correct file. click the link below and download the correct (PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ.exe.7z) 7z.
