The file name format for Voice Memos has changed - how can I change it to the original format?
The file names for the voice memos changed in the last update. Now the day is first, which means when you sort them in a file folder, they sort by the number of the day and not year - month - day as before. Is there a way to change it back?
Restore it as new or sign out of that account and into yours. Both are covered in the manual.

I am using itunes 10 and trying to consolidate my files. I keep getting the error "Copying files failed. The file name was invalid or too long". How can I indentify what file is causing this problem or resolve this issue?

Yes, I just get that message. I don't see how I could investigate this problem.
I didn't mention that this happened when I was consolidating my library, not copying files to another computer.
In other words, I'm using a "normal" itunes procedure, itunes won't complete it, and won't tell me exactly why or how to figure out how to fix it...
Is there at least some easy way to tell which files were successfully copied to my itunes music folder so I can work on moving the uncopied files?

You don't need to maintain all versions of the upgrade chain, but many of us do in case we need to work on a legacy file. If you want to rmove a version, though, ti should be done BEFORE installing the later one. Just reinstall CS5 and things should get back to normal.

After burning a successful DVD in iDVD out of FCPX, how can I see the settings it used?
So I finally burned a DVD out of a Apple Pro Res file into iDVD in PAL format. My question now is how can I find out what the exact burn properties were so that I can apply the same burn properties to a project in Compressor 4?
Is it possible to see what iDVD did?I don't know any way you can interrogate iDVD to reveal settings to the extent that you can in a Compressor project. What you could do is open up the show's VOB in MPEG STreamclip, go to File and Reveal Stream Information; that will at least give you some rudimentary info like average bit rate. Perhaps someone, with more iDVD experience, can chime in here.
The broader question is why use Compressor at all if your current workflow is doing the job to your satisfaction?
The value of Compressor is that it gives you control over the many parameters that affect size quality. and playability. The Compressor presets can give you a starting point for DVD delivery, Web, etc. From those presets, people typically experiment by adjusting the parameters until they get the desired results for their specific show. It's a little bit science and a little bit art. After experimenting, you may be able to get slightly better quality for the project you've successfully burned in iDVD by using Compressor and something likeToast…or maybe not.

What you are looking for is only available for iOS 5 and above. You will need to connect your iPhone to a computer and update through iTunes as always.

My Icloud is tuck on my old email adress. i can not retreive the password becaue when i request the email it doent get sent to thi adress. how can i change it sothat my icloud is on my new email. i cant login or out of icloud now.
To change the iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that book, click the arrow to the left of it, click the 'Report a Problem' button :
and then the 'Report a Problem' link on its line :
and select 'inadvertently purchased' as the problem and fill in the details (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).

If you can't remember your passcode, you'll need to restore your phone. If you never synched to iTunes, all data on your phone will be erased. No way around this.

When I right click and go save image/page/ect as the file save popup screen appears and on the right side of the File Name bar there is an arrow. If you click the arrow it shows the last 20? items that have been saved and their save location. Is there anyway to not have the list of recent items there or at the very least a way to clear them? I'm running Firefox 17 on Windows 7.
Also when you save items as you were typing in the name you want to save them as it used to show filenames with the same name as you type that are saved in that directory so instead of typing the whole filename or copy/pasting you could start typing a filename and then hit the up or down arrow, backspace and just change the end of the filename without having to retype the entire filename.
Hopefully you understand what I mean and can help me fix it, thanks.It's in the proper directory. I can scroll down the window on the right and see the files but if I start typing the file name of one of them the autocomplete drop down thing that shows matching file names does not appear. In the back of my mind I'm starting to think a setting got changed and then the list of matching file names stopped appearing but I can't recall what setting may have been changed, if it was a firefox or microsoft change or for certain if anything got changed at all. Yeah I know I'm not helping my own cause but what can you do.

where FILE_TEST is the name of the logical schema
