Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

Download the free app My Contacts Backup and use it to back up the contacts on your device now (it will back them up as an attachment to an email that you send to yourself). Then restore your device to your most recent backup to see if it will recover your contacts. If not, if necessary you can open the email and tap the attachment to re-import the contacts you have now back to your device.
If you need to restore to an iCloud backup this has to be done in the initial setup process, which requires you to first erase your device. If you have any more recent data on your device now that is not in the backup that you want to save you'll need to do that first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. You will then go through the setup screens on your device, and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish. -

In order to reactivate this product on a new machine, you can simply download & Install the product on the new machine using the following link and enter the serial number when prompted. Make sure to deactivate the product from your old machine by launching any one of the products, go to Help>Deactivate/signout.

Actually you could get student discount from apple and a 10% dicksmith with limited time and I think jb hi fi gives even better discount. But lets see what other people think?

I bought this very nice iMac. The first time I ever use a Apple product. Can someone please tell me where the delete key is on the keyboard. I cannot think for one moment that Apple did not provide for such a key. Please help.
The delete key does a backward delete because it is the natural way to delete while typing. May not be to you and the millions of youngsters who grew up with windows computers. When you are typing and want to delete that which you just typed you are already at the end and you delete back to where you want to re-type. When you go back to a document and want to delete a selection, you have to go to the end of the selection instead of the beginning. it's just the way its always been done on macs. it takes some getting use to.
If you select text to be deleted with your mouse then the delete key deletes the selected text. same for either delete key method.
It is not convenient when you tab to fields in a form. That why fn-delete does a forward delete.
Macs have a couple of keyboards. The small "wireless keyboard" only has the (backward) delete (fn-delete forward). The larger "Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad" has both a Delete (backwards) key beside the = abd it has the "delete >" key in the groups with fn, home, end, Pg up and Pg dn. This keyboard is best for users who have switched from windows or are familiar with the windows forward delete. -
I've opened up iTunes and went to buy a song, but then it came up with a box saying "this is the first time you are purchasing an item on this computer" even though my computer is authorised. Then when i put in my password it takes me to the security questions and i dont know what the answers are. What do i do?
A computer can be authorized to play content purchased using a particular Apple ID (the iTunes Store account). However, being authoized to play content is not directly related to being able to buy content using that Apple ID.
For example, a parent may purchase content for a child and authorize the child's computer to play that content, but that does not mean the child is able to purchase content using that Apple ID.
If this is your Apple ID, you should know the answers to the security questions. If you do not, you'll need to contact Apple iTunes Store customer support

I got two receipts from the same tv show I bought. How's that even possible? I clicked the 'buy season ' button the first time and there was an error so I clicked it again, and now, I apparently paid for it twice! Apple is such a rip-off!

Check your purchase history. See if it actually charged you twice.
If it did then contact itunes support for a refund.

I am having trouble uploading anAperture photographic book to Apple. The first time I tried “Buy Book” theorder proceeded normally but when it came to uploading the book to Apple it"uploaded" for six hours without going through so I aborted theattempt and cancelled the order.
The second time I tried the samething happened so after nine hours I found that the "Quit Aperture"button had greyed out so I had to Force Quit. I do not know if the order wascancelled but I do not think that the upload was successful.
What can I do about this problem?I also am not able to print a book. I have Aperture on two Mac, MacBook Pro (current) and a MacPro - both printed books prior to update 3.1.3 now all I get is the spinning ball then I have to Force Quit. I tried books I have ordered in the past (trying to print a new book) and they also failed. This is not a picture problem but a problem with 3.1.3 update. I would like to print some more books and give Apple some money but can't.
Any suggestions?
