Yeah, I just noticed it So does this mean I can't wake my S10 thru LAN right? Anyway, do you have any suggestions? I'm looking for a Docking Station, but I can't find any. Can a USB replicator turn this on? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

My laptop had water spilled on it 3 days ago, I let it sit as instructed by best buy . I am on it right now but the mouse movement isn't smooth anymore and it is slower. Why does my iphone 3gs screen go white after it goes "to sleep" for the first time after turning it on?
The screen isn't broken because it works after i turn the device off and back on, but after it goes black once, it's only white again.
But it takes the touches although it's only white, because I can answer my phone when I slide my finger on the bottom of the screen, eventhough there in not the button to see.

My wife's iPhone is the same vintage as mine 3Gs, but has never had the battery problem. Its affliction instead is that it cannot detect WiFi networks unless it is quite close to the source. Often, when my iPhone not only detects but shows a maximum cells connection with a network, hers cannot detect the network at all. In contrast, her iPhone seems to detect ourcellular carrier just as well as mine does.
Is there any help for this affliction? -

Are the lines like psychedelic herringbone? If yes, I had that happen once, it was something serious, like the
Logic board. The good news is that it was fixed without any loss of data on the hard drive. Take it in to have Apple look at it ASAP. I took it to TekServe at the time, they are very nice about preserving your data and user library when possible.

I cannot figure out how to change the photo size on my iPhone 5s. The first time I took a pic it asked if I wanted smalll, medium or large and listed the pixels. I chose small but am now finding that is too small. Can anyone help me set it to medium now? I can't find any setting for that. I'm a newby to iPhones and have no idea what I'm doing. By "sending" do you mean sending email?
If so, what app are you using to take the photos on your iPhone 5? Or are the photos from a different source (saved to your Camera Roll from somewhere else, like a web page or Messages)?
My guess is that Mail gives you the option to send different file sizes when it detects you are trying to Mail a really large photo file. The size of photos on the iPhone 5 is really big and some email providers may stop your mail from being delivered if attachments are too large. Thus, Mail tries to help you by offering to resize the photo.
I suspect that if you are sending smaller files, Mail does not bother giving you options to save a smaller version. In fact, I have seen this behavior. So, if the photo is already "small enough", it gets sent as-is.
To my knowledge, there is no global iOS setting for this. Some apps may have different rules, of course. -
Mac mini doesn't boot the first time i turn it on

i have a strange problem with my mac mini and was wondering if anyone had heard of it before.
when i turn on mac mac, the light comes on and i hear drive noise, but no chime. no video is sent to the display (the monitor flashes "no signal"). however, if i wait for 5 or 10 minutes, turn it off by holding down the power button and then turn it straight back on it again, it starts up as usual (with chime).
could this be a software problem or is it more likely a glitch in the hardware?

jack.That doesn't sound like a software/OS problem, because MacOS doesn't begin to load until after the initial startup, including the chime and the grey screen with Apple logo. Since you don't get the chime or display, it sounds like the system has a hardware problem, or perhaps an issue with PRAM.
As a first step I would reset PRAM as follows:
-Shut down the computer.
-Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in the next step but one.
-Turn on the computer.
-Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
-Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
-Release the keys. -

Hi. Both myself and my wife are on the same account meaning same credit card. The problem with this is we both receive each others contacts and see each others I messages.
How can my wife have a different name so we are separate on such things as contacts and I message but she can still purchase items on the account.

Some of the photos in that link apply to setting up iCloud on a device from new, not when setting it up later. It won't look the same (the dark gray background) for you as you're setting it up now. -
Error1962 the FIRST TIME I turned on this NEW PC!!
I received the 18kg package of the B750 that I ordered. After plugged it to the power and turned it on, BOOM, it gave an error message 1962 saying that no operating system is found. Why is that? I googled it and some people say it's a hard drive or cable issue. Can someone help me with this? I don't need to have this frustration after paying big bucks. A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.

For me it sounds like a software problem.
I mean if you have installed XP, nobody knows which drivers you have installed and applications. Everything could cause this issue and in this case you have to search for a solution yourself.
If you install the OS from Toshiba recovery disk and everything works properly, its not a hardware malfunction and not an issue of Toshiba. -
