The frame won't contract.

Hello ,
In a matrix report I have a repeating frame and inside it I have a frame.
Properties of repeating frame:
Vertical elasticity: Expand
Horizontal elasticity: Contract
The other frame does not display sometimes by a formatting trigger.
My problem is that the repeating frame doesn't contract over it's objects even when the inner frame is invisible.
Why is this happening?

Hi,
As i under stood that you have more that one frame in the repeating frame.
you have to create an anchor between the objects.

How recently did you switch? If it's less than 60 days, then Verizon simply reinstates your previous account. The fact that you were on the EDGE plan and mailed the devices back, and they apparently are somewhere in the system, could cause complications, and it might just work out that you just go back on the same plan and they set you up with the same devices. I'm not sure how it will go - but since you are still being billed for the devices...

Does the ext directory have the php_oci8.dll? In the original steps the PHP dir is renamed. In the given php.in the extension_dir looks like it has been updated correctly. Since PHP distributes php_oci8.dll by default I reckon there would be a very good chance that the problem was somewhere else. Since this is an old thread I don't think we'll get much value from speculation.

Content of Scrolling text won't start at the top of the frame

Despite making the frame exactly the same size as the content the Scrolling text won't start at the top of the frame. It drops down the equivalent of a line of text. Any ideas?

Yes to Text Wrap but its a small graphic (to indicate scrolling text) inset into text halfway down.
The first line of text has a 4 line drop cap with Align to Left Edge checked. The DC is also defined as a Chara Style and doesn't exend above the top of the text.

My jList won't show up on the frame

My problem is that I can't see the JList in the scrollPane. I am able to run and compile this frame through JBuilder, however I get this error message:
java.lang.NullPointerException new JList(helpTopics)
If I remove the jpanel from the frame and just drop in the scrollPane with the nested jlist on the frame I am then able to see the list and the items in the list. But I'd like to have it on a panel.
BTW I am calling this frame from another class that contains the main function. Here is my code:

You haven't added the panel to the frame from the code you have just posted.

When I hit the minimize button on Firefox to use the side by side view with Excel in Windows 7, my Firefox window gets larger and won't give me an arrow in the corner to reduce the frame size.

I can't find a menu to resize my minimized window as it is actually larger than the normal window. The frame of firefox goes right off the screen and will not give me a corner arrow to drag it down to size. Normal window view is just fine. How do I correct this?

It is possible that the screen is too wide or too high and that the scroll bars fall off. 
Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window. 
If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.

Why Won't My Captivate 2 capture all the frames in my webpage?

When I try to capture a mutliframe webpage, Captivate only

Captivate 2 and it seems to record all frames of one frameset page
I tested with no issues. This makes me wonder what is being
displayed in the "missing" frames.

How can I change the frame rate of a project in imovie 10?

My problem is: I made a gopro movie with a frame rate of 50 fps. I imported it to imovie. So far so good.
Scrubbing over the clip i found one single frame which looked amazing. So I draged some seconds of that clip into the timeline (the project if you will).
The goal was to make a freeze frame out of this "spezial" frame.
Unfortunately I could not find this frame in the timeline any more - it's gone.
I think imovie dropped half of the frames to fit the clip into the projekt, which I assume is using 24-25fps.
The only solution I found is to decrease the speed of the clip to let's say 50%.
But is there a better way?
Can I change the frame rate of the projekt somehow? I think it was possible in imovie 11.

iMovie 10 won't share at 50 fps and so for 25 fps output probably drops every other frame. This is different from Imovie 9 which could handle 50 fps. However, if you do 50% speed it will use all the available frames so that is indeed the way to find the frame you want. After you have made a freeze frame I think you can switch the clip back to normal speed. I am not aware of a better way in iMovie 10 By the way there is also no facility to export a still of a frame in iMovie.
As a GoPro user I think FCP 10.1 would be the best choice.

How to get the frame number of a label in a different scene.

I am completely stumped on this.
I have my project setup as the gameplay in one scene, and another scene for the outcome.
The outcome scene, say called, GameDone, has 2 frames. The first frame for win, labeled it WON, the second frame for lost, labeled LOST.
I could do the very simple thing and just gotoAndStop("GameDone", 1); but thats a bad practice, I believe.
Ive gone through google and found the closest thing needing a MovieClip. I could not figure out what to give it? A random MovieClip? a new one? one from the next scene? one from the current scene?

Try doing the simple thing that you think is a bad practice. I don't know why you think it is. The only problem with it is that you appear to have it backwards for AS3... in AS3 it is gotoAndStop(frame,scene);
Why don't you use the frame labels instead of frame numbers? gotoAndStop("Won", "GameDone");

How can I get the frame option that diffuses the edges of a picture in pages 5.2

I recently updated to Pages 5.2 and have discovered that my favorite and most used framing option is no longer a choice. How can I get the frame option that allowed you to diffuse the edges to soften a picture edges on 5.2?

That is called the vignette, and yes Apple has removed it from Pages 5 along with 100 other features.
Pages '08/'09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder so use that.
Be aware that Pages 5.2 is not only short of features it is also buggy and prone to leaving you with files that won't open.

Help! When i click and drag, only the frame moves!

So when i drag a pictue in a frame, whether its eps, png watever, only the frame outline drags with my mouse, the content stays where it started, then when i relese click in a new place the content moves to it.
I think this is some sort of fast mode or something but i cant figure out how to turn it off?
If i click and hold for a couple seconds then when i drag the picture drags with my mouse, but its so annoying having to hover on the picture every time i want to move something.
It also happens with transforming the picture, scalling it or rotationg it etc. I just get a preview of where it will end up from the frame outline then when i release the picture goes there.
Im on CS6.
If someone could help would be amazing, i've searched the web and im stumped!

You are looking for Live Screen Redraw, and reseetting the prefs won't do a thing becasue it's set to dealyed by default in CS6. You can set it to Always in the prefs, or you can click and hold for a moment before dragging to get the live view.

I am guessing that the time between each frame varies from a nominal set frame rate.
How do I set that nominal frame rate?
How do I determine what the actual (frame by frame) frame rate or time between frames was in post pressing of the "video" image.

It is almost impossible to measure the frame rate accurately by measuring the time between consecutive frames. The latency of sending the images over the ethernet means they won't arrive at the computer with the same exact spacing they were taken at. Also, measuring the length of one short interval in LabVIEW is also very difficult. Windows latencies and other issues could make your measurement be off by quite a bit.
The only way I can see to verify the frame rate is to use a digital input into a counter and wire the shutter signal directly from the camera into the digital input. You could program the counter to measure between the rising edges of the shutter signal, and you would find out the frame rate is indeed very accurate and repeatable.
The only other way I know to accurately measure the frame rate in LabVIEW is to measure the time over a large number of frames (thousands) and divide the number of frames by the total time. Any minor errors in measuring the timing of a single frame go away with the large number of frames.

Removing light reflex in part of the frame of video

Hi
I need to remove some light reflex in my video (sample picture below).
I cannot open the AVI / MOV files in Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. Is there a chance to make this correction (limited to the small part of the image) using Adobe Premiere Elements 10 or Adobe Premiere Pro CS6?
How should I do it? These are some 3 frames.

Was the camera on a tripod?
If so, you can easily mask out that part of the frame and use the Levels effect to cut the glare..
Because of the horizontal portion, you probably need to use the 16 point garbage matte. There are actually 9 points so the 8 point mask won't do the job as well. You could use a track matte, but it won't allow you to animate it as easily if it is necessary.
I put the image on track 1 and a copy on track 2. I applied the garbage matte effect and the levels effect to track two.
If the camera was not on a tripod, you can animate the matte but it is going to take a lot longer.
I created my matte with both images showing, but if I poke out the eye on track one this is what I see:
Did I understand it correctly? Is this what you wanted to do? I didn't make the window frame too dark. You can still see some highlights, which is as it should be, I think.

Why the ball won't come out?

hi, in the following code there are two lines that each creates a Ball instance. But the line commented with "ball one" won't display a ball on the frame, however the line commented with "another ball" can do.
