The G/L ACCOUNT field by default

I am running cj20n,I added material to that activity,I able to create material . The G/L ACCOUNT field in material is filled manually.
I want this field by default.For this, is there any configeration ? Could you please answer me.

Valuation Class for Project Stock
Default value for the valuation class for valuated project stocks of the material.
Use
You need specify a valuation class here only if you want to assign a different valuation class to this type of stock than that assigned to other valuated stocks of the material. This makes it possible to define other allowed G/L accounts for these stocks.
If you want to maintain this filed "Valuation Class for Project Stock" alongwith the valuation class lthen for this valuation class (for project stock) also you have to maintain the OBYC setting with defined GL.

Populating the G/L account field based on Material in the SC

HI aLL,
We are runnin on SRM 4.0 (classic).I have a reqt wherein the G/L account which comes in the "Cost assignment details" should be populated at run time (when items are added to SC) based on the material no/Product ID....
I found out a BADI...BBP_DETERMINE_ACCT which is used to determine the G/L account but not sure at whci point this BADI is triggered...i inserted a poup message in a sample implementatiuon of this BADI..but it doesnt show me the popup message when i click on the "ADD TO SHOPPING CART" button on teh SC creatio screen wheerin i can test that this is the BADI which i s called at teh time items are added to teh SC and will populate the G/L account field with teh proper value form teh backend.
Also for the G/L account value for the Material,is there any std table which stores the link between product/valuation class and G/l account in SRM itself so that my RFC call to teh backend is saved in this BADI implementation??

Not sure if I understood you right. I've implemented this BAdI BBP_DETERMINE_ACCT and it works fine so far. I can add an item to the SC and then go to the item details to see the accounting data. There the G/L account corresponds to the one that was determined at run time by the BAdI implementation.
The standard table in R/3 backend is T030. For described requirements (no known material id) you have to specify a product category. Valuation classes can be assigned to product categories in table T023 (in R/3 backend as well).
Unfortunately the SRM standards do not take into account the standard account determination as it is known and working in R/3 systems. For this you'll have to implement the BAdI BBP_DETERMINE_ACCT.

Disable G/L account field in Shopping cart screen

I am ABAP Developer and new to the SRM system, I got a requirement to disable G/L account field in the Shopping cart creation screen and overview screen and also I have to disable the message that is triggered when the G/L account field not entered .
Please guide me to achieve this requirement.

Hi,
I guess you use current SRM 7.0 version.
You can control the field visibility by Meta Data customizing. SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic settings -> Extensions and Field Control(Personalization) -> Configure Field Control.

Hiding G/L Account field in MB21 (Reservations)

Hi,
It depends on the Movement Type which you select during creation of Reservation.
Go to transaction code OMCJ (For Goods Receipt related movment types) and OMBW (For Goods Issue / Transfer Postings related movement types) and hide the G/L Account.
Also you can do the field selection per movement types in OMJJ but this will work for transaction MIGO
But in case of Goods Issue Moement Types "GL Account" field will always appear in MB21, it is not possible to avoid this in MB21 by configuration.

IOS 8: The textbox to change the description field of the iCloud email account no longer exists

The textbox to change the description of the iCloud email account that existed in all previous versions of iOS, and is available for all other types of email accounts under iOS 8, appears to have been removed. Without this textbox, it is not possible to change the default description of "iCould", or to change a description that was set with a previous version of iOS. The description field still exists, as the value that I set on a previous version of iOS is still being used by some of my iOS devices, but there is currently no way to change it via the current iOS 8 UI. The description field is available to change for all other kinds of email accounts.

I used an iCloud backup to transfer everything on my iPhone 5s to my iPhone 6. The (modified) description for my iCloud account transferred and appears the way I want it to appear on my iPhone 6. However, it cannot be changed.
Alternatively, I also have a new iPad Air 2 that I set up as a completely new iPad (i.e. I did not transfer anything from an older iPad). The iPad shows the description for my iCloud account as the default: "iCloud." It, too, cannot be changed.
True, this is only a minor annoyance, but it would be less of an issue if Apple had not removed a feature that previously existed in iOS 7.
I'm not sure if the removal was intentional or unintentional, but, again, I hope this gets fixed soon. In the meantime, I would be interested in anyone can find a workaround.

How to Enable Default Account field

Anybody knows how to enable default account field in UCM.

Not sure what you mean by default..
But to enable accounts.
Administration>>Admin Server>>select the content server button>>General Configuration
Enter into Additional Configuration Variables:
UseAccounts=true
Or to only show accounts on the UCM via a dropdown list when you checkin content.
Administration>>Admin Server>>select the content server button>>Content Security
Select: Show only known accounts Checkbox.
Hit save.
Restart Content Server.

Can 'Region' field gets defaulted based on owner of account?

Can 'Region' field in Account sales information gets defaulted based on owner of account?
Owner belongs to 'West' region then account should get defaulted with same region.
I have defined 'West' as territory for this owner.
Do anybody has expression available for making field default ?

Read-only is an option, but only if you never want users to change the values. If your users always work in the same Div, Region, and Sub-Region, then it would be reasonable to lock it so they don't feel like they have to update it. If,however, you have users that work in more than one sub-region, and they need to update it, then you wouldn't make it read-only.
As far as workflow is concerned, you would need it to update the values when the ownership changes, if that is a requirement. If you choose not to update it, then it might not reflect the correct values for the new owner. Your decision on whether or not to implement the workflow would be based on whether or not your business rules require it. Most of the time, customers want the data to reflect the correct values for the current owner, but not always, so check with your customers and let the requirements drive the decision.

After deleting and adding Yahoo account, there is no Default Account field for Calendar on iPhone

I read the tips to fix the synch problem with Yahoo Calendar. A step says to make sure the Default Account is set to a Yahoo one. When I deleted and added the Yahoo account according to instructions then went to the Calendar section of Settings on the iPhone there is no Default Account field any longer. I am running iOS 6.1.3 on iPhone 4s. As a result when selecting the Calendar app and tap Calendars there is no Yahoo calendar listed only iCloud and Facebook.

I saw a temporary Yahoo calndear for iOS work-around in another Apple Support Forum post, and it does work:

I have found a workaround thats working for me until they get this yahoo calendar thing solved. I logged into my yahoo account on my pc and opened up the calendar. There is a down arrow next to the name of the yahoo calendar you wish to have on you iDevice. Click the down arrow and select share.Go to "sharing and permissions" and your email address and click save. You will then receive an email with two links. Open the email on your iDevice and and hold down on the second link and select copy. This is the link that says add to outlook. Then on your iDevice go to settings-mail-add account-other-add subscribed calendar. Hold down on the server field and tap paste. Then tap next. In the Description box type the name of your calendar and then tap save. Leave all the other fields alone. You can repeat this for all the yahoo calendars you wish to view on your iDevice. Open your iDevice calendar app, tap the calendar tab and your calendar(s) should now appear under Subscribed. This will allow your view your yahoo calendar(s) on your iDevice. Now if you wish to add appointments to your yahoo calendar open safari and go to m.yahoo.com tap the three bars in the upper left corner of the mobile web page and tap sign in. Use your yahoo id and password to sign in. After signing in tap the three bars in the upper left hand corner again and scroll down and tap more. Tap Calendar. At the bottom of the screen tap the box with the arrow in it and select at to home screen. Name it if you like and then tap add. Now every time you want add an appointment to any of your yahoo calendars you can open the link on your home screen. It will remember your log in. If you wish to view all of your calendars, including the yahoo calendars open the native calendar app. This workaround requires the use of two methods one for entry one for viewing, but at least you can access all of your calendars. You can also view your yahoo calendar(s) from the home page link but I dont like the layout on the yahoo mobile page so I just use that for entry. Hope this helps until they figure this one out.

Mattreichenbach is probably on the right track here with a reset of settings. I think I've determined the issue has to do with cached account information and inconsistencies for the account name. This seems to crop up when I've changed my password and it hasn't propagated fully to all the servers, devices, certificates, etc.
Hopefully many here are on their way to restoration of service by now but it's clear that a lot of people are having the same issues. Very frustrating and definitely something Apple needs to resolve: incoming mail server field grayed out, incorrect autopopulation of different fields, other unanticipated behaviors. If you're still having issues, though, here's what worked for me...
First, head to the iCloud preferences pane in System Configuration and choose "Sign Out". When I did this it prompted me with a number of "are you sure" type questions about retaining information on my local machine. I chose to delete/remove the info each time simply because it should all be restored by the cloud and I didn't want to risk a massive duplication of my data... I will say, I'm back up and running with no issues so I suspect you can make the same delete/remove choices... But use your own judgment. I don't want you to lose any data (ie.. please use care as you do this because I cannot bear the thought of causing anyone to experience the pain of data loss).
Once you've signed out of iCloud, restart your system. When you get back in, head to the Mail, Contacts and Calendars section of your System Preferences and add your account back by choosing the brushed aluminum "iCloud" button. When it asks for your account name, use your @iCloud.com email address. I am all but certain my issue had started because one of my devices (iPhone or whatever) had been set up with an email alias specified instead of my @iCloud.com address.
Apple, if you're reading through any of these issues (there are TONS of users having this same problem). Take note, that your icloud service somewhat frequently is not responding and yet tells the user that the password is wrong and this prompts people to be changing their passwords unnecessarily. This has happened to me on numerous occasions. Also, I noticed that last week's outage corresponded to a VERY similar outage exactly one year ago to the day. Sounds like planned maintenance to me and I think you could do a better job notifying folks so we're not wasting HUGE amounts of time troubleshooting a problem that we have no hope of fixing.

Disable GL Account Field for editing in the Shopping Cart SRM 7.0

Hi,
We would like to disable the GL Account field for editing only on the Shopping Cart Approval Screen. I tried to implement this through configuration of Metadata Dynamic Class in SPRO->SRM Application Server ->Cross Application Basic Settings->Extension & Field Control ->Configure Control for Fields of substructure. But the class is not getting triggered.
Any help would be appreciated. We are on SRM 7.0

Try to activate the view and component and then see. If this does not works, create an enhancement for the view and write the below code in method WDDOMODIFYVIEW
DATA btn_confirm TYPE REF TO cl_wd_button.
btn_confirm ?= view->get_element( 'AUTO_CONFIRMATION' ).
if btn_confirm is BOUND.
btn_confirm->SET_TEXT( value = 'Confirmation' ).

This code will set the button text as 'Confirmation' .

User with authorization to modify an specific field into the G/L Account

Hi everyone,
I´d would like to know if It´s possile GIVE AUTHORITY ONLY to some users will be able to modify the field SKB1 - ALTKT into the G/L Account Master Data through transacction FS02. In this way, only the selected users could introduce or modify information on this field.
I´m not sure if it can be done trough a new Z object and assign the object to the transacction and also in the user profiles..or in other way...

I'm worried but there is no field group authorization for G/L account like customers and vendors. In customers and vendors you're grouping your changable fields and give auth for it. But in G/L master data, there is no solution like this.
So I think you can use business transaction event for validation. You should use 00002310 BTE for this action.
In this exit, you can validate I_SKB1-ALTKT is equal to SKB1-ALTKT for special user. You should create a user parameter like ZALKT and this 'X' value to this parameter for special user. And check user auth for parameter ZALKT = 'X' and then if it's ok compare I_SKB1 and database table SKB1 for ALTKT field. If this two value doesn't equal you can give error message while saving G/L account changes.

No, didn't have to sign out. As I started to, got a messge saying something about losing all my calendar information, which unnerved me so I didn't sign out. It was correcting the password in another email account that corrected the situation for me.
