Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430 It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. On the MBP, in iTunes, switch to Song view and enable the iCloud Status column by pulling down View > View options and selecting the option for "iCloud Status." Close the small window. Look for any tracks that have a status of "waiting." If you see several of them disable iTunes Match while holding down the Option key. Quit iTunes, wait a few seconds, then open it again and turn iTM back on. Let it compelete the scan. Wait until all tracks that are "waiting" have a status of either "matched" or "uploaded."
On the iPad, turn off iTunes Match then launch the Music app and let the contents clear out. Power cycle the iPad for good measure, then re-enable the service once all the tracks in iTunes have been processed.

Max Memory Settings Not Working (SQL Server 2008 R2)

I have 12 GB ram in sql server 2008 R2 of 64 bit server (Windows 2008 R2).
I have set the Max memory setting to 12288 MB Memory setting.
Still the usage of sql server process is around 14 GB.
Is Max memory setting not working?
I have also enabled AWE after all it is 64 bit.

Problem is that: my OS is halting due to this RAM. I have 16 GB of ram and assigning 12 GB to SQL SERVER and rest is using for OS. Please guide me how to get information about actual memory usage from all sql server processes. like
all CLR etc

Are you also running SSIS/SSAS/SSRS with database engine services. What do you mean by OS is halting ?
If you want to check whether SQL Server is facing memory crunch please have a look at perfmon counters from
this link
Sys.dm_OS_memory_clerks would be DMV helpful in tracking memory utilized by various processes

Can you reduce max server memory to 11 G and see if it gives some relief

I have two different computers, one with AE CS4 and a other one with AE CS 5.5.
On both systems ( Windows 7 64) my Echo audio fire4 sound-module driver is not working proper
and crashing AE. Despite the latest updates from Echo. When I uninstall the driver the problems
are gone!
That's the reason I'm looking for a good stable sound-module (FireWire) to work with Premiere Pro
and AE.

The listbox event.changeEx is not giving proper index, when the text in the list is all in Chinese.

We have a PDF built from Acrobat Pro. There is a listbox with text in Chinese.The listbox event.changeEx is not giving proper index, when the text in the list is all in Chinese. Do we need to set any configuration for the PDFs to work with Chinese text for listbox selection event.
Something like Font or locale in adobe pro or the Windows 7 OS to be in Chinese.

Wifi and GPS not working proper

first of all sorry for bad english German you know :o)
my Iphone ist 3GS with 4.3(8F190) Modell MC139DN
i resetet the Network and also i resetet the hole Iphone and startet new with the last backup.
by the way, 3 month ago it helps when GPS signal was very poor
but still.... wifi is working ONLY 1 m in front of the server /___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png from 2 m up no signal AND then SWITSHING TO 3G
and
GPS /___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png ist also not working proper what means :
the apple app "maps" ist getting the signal lets say every 5 to 10 min end the blue dot is jumping to the next point of the map afer 20 minits the iphon is no longe abel to show a card /___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png/___sbsstatic___/m igration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png

Suggestions?

- After charging for 1/2 hour or so, does iTunes see the iPod? If yes, restore the iPod from backup.
- If no, se if placing the iPod in recovery mode will make it visible so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

I could do that, however when I select the icloud button (or whatever the heck it is) I am asked to enter the apple id and password. So if you are suppose to create another one for icloud you'd think it would give you the option at this point which would be logical.

Thanks restoring and restarting didn't fix my problem - i have started it fresh and still it doesn't work. Basically I press ONCE on the remote, after the machine has not had any commands for 10 minutes, and the cursor skips from one end of the menu to the other - so I can't choose network or update software etc - I sometimes manage to stop it randomly in the middle of the menu if I press on a command in the middle of the cursor skipping all the menu steps...not sure what the problem is but I have basically not used my brand new apple tv since I bought it for that reason! I should call Apple support I suppose! grrrr hate wasting time with stuff like this!

I live in South Africa, and I had the same problem with my iPhone 4.
After weeks of frustration and swearing, I was in the process of restoring my phone to a previous iOS. To do that you need to turn the "Find my iPhone" option off, since i turned it off, my problem was solved. No need to repair anything or revert back to old iOS.
***** that i cant use Find my iPhone, but atleast i can use my phone.
