IN ENCORE CS3 - I get this "Problem" message when I check my project. It refers to "gaps" in my main timeline where all my video is set end to end. There are no visually perceivable gaps, and when I burn the disk, everything is fine. What does this message mean?
I always create a separate Timeline for each and all Assets. I do not gang them on a single Timeline. When one does this, there are often gaps in the Video, because the Audio is longer, maybe just an Audio unit, or two. Also, depending on the Audio file type, there can be Duration differences, just because of encoding schemes. Cannot recall the numbers for the blocks, but Neil Wilkes has offered that up in several replies to similar posts. One way around this is to make sure to have a bit of Black Video on the Timeline in PrPro, and let the Audio end maybe 1 - 2 secs. earlier. Note too, that if one is doing DD 5.1 SS AC3's, many players, especially higher-end ones, need 02 sec. to "lock onto" the AC3, so 02 sec. of silent Audio is a good idea, or the music might not be heard until a few sec. into it. Neil refers to this a "Black Audio," but it's really silence.
I just use Playlists to get the navigation that I require from the multiple Timelines.

The usual problem here is that mpeg files often have small differences in the length of the audio and video streams. When you butt them together, this creates small gaps.
I have not experimented with this, and do not know whether using an mpg file (muxed) or m2v/wav/a3c (demuxed) makes a difference. I don't ever put multiple files on one timeline. If I need them on one timeline, I create one file. -

I was tracking my stolen phone, then the phone must have been switched off, it says on icloud that the phone is offline, i have cancelled my sim card so i dont get any charges, my phone had a passcode on it, if someone whipes the phone and tries to use it them selves can i still track the phone with icloud? also will icloud show me the location of the phone the moment someone tries to charge it(even though it wont get signal) or will icloud work if someone connects it to a computer?
Thanksif the thief is experienced and wipes the phone you're out of luck. this is a flaw with 'find my iphone' whats the point of it, if someone can just simply wipe the phone? lame. keep sending mesages to it. if/when they finally get through then you'll get an email saying so. then immediately after getting an email, track it again, its likely still powered on and you can locate it.

-- WebLogic as application server, running on an NT box inside the firewall
We would get the "Peer must have signalled PeerGone incorrectly" message on
the application server after it had been up 90 minutes, and we would then
have to restart WebLogic (but not Apache).
Thinking that Apache might be the problem, we switched the web server to
WebLogic on NT, but the error still occurs. There is no corresponding
message on the web server WebLogic. Our sysadmin has configured the firewall
so that, according to him, communication
between these two machines has "top priority", but this has had no effect.
Can anyone help?

I have read all the Apple ID support notes, but cannot find how to recover my account in my case. I mistakenly thought I should change my AppleID to my new email, and when I tried to do that, I lost the thread. I recieved a verification email sent to my new email (so it must have added ok) but when I go to change my password, I never get that confirmation email. So when I try to access the account by answering security questions, I must have typed in the wrong birthdate way back when, and I can't get past that screen. What now? It said it sent confirmation email to my new apple ID email that I have to confirm. Problem is I can not get to the new apple ID email account. On my ipad it logs into my original email account and I see no where to log into another email account. If I go to my laptop, the new apple ID I created does not let me log into email where apple said it was sent to. It did not send to back up email account either.
Can I log into 2 email accounts on my ipad where it says mail at bottom?

There are only two things that you must do to connect a device to calendars:
1) In settings>icloud, you must log in, WITH THE CORRECT ID/PASSWORD, and
2) Turn on calendars on the same page.

I accidentally deleted documents from Pages on my iphone - and now they won't show up on my mac anymore either. I must have saved them just on icloud and not on my mac, too. is there anyway to recover these documents?
On a mac, when you save docs to icloud, a local copy is also saved. It's saved at:
~/Library/Mobile Documents
Note that Library in the user's home folder is now hidden, so you'll have to set Finder to view hidden files.
The Mobile Documents folder has subfolder where copies of the doc/data files are stored.
If the file(s) are no longer there, then use your Time Machine backups to get copies back to the mac. -
I have created an 100 page booklet in Pages, with many photographs, and much written word, can I export it to ePub, and make an electronic book, because it says that "Note: The Pages document must have been created using a word processing template"?....
