The great 2 am wake up call

I'm really starting to get irritated and ****** off. Every day at 2 am my husbands phone resets over and over again until we power it off.  From looking around I cannot find if there is a resolution to this or not.  We both have the Droid incredible and it is only his phone that is doing it.  My husband is at the point where he is ready to throw the phone in the garbage because of this issue.  Can anyone tell me what I should try.  He hasn't installed any new apps recently and this has been going on for a week.

check for new updates, it might be the phone trying to install a new update? my thunnderbolt did that when the 2.3 update came out...

Yes Rosetta has been gone for over two years. You can always search here for how Michael Lax's instructions on how to run SL Server in a virtul environment, but I don't think it is too kind to gamers.
Advice? Buy an old Mac that runs PPC software.

Q: How long has this system been in place - is it a new system, or is this something that just started on a system that has been in place for awhile?
A: My customer says to me that this system has been in place for nearly a year and the problem started only a couple of days ago.
Q: If so were there any changes to the infrastructure, or the dialplan in particular?
A: Again this is the first question I asked and he said “NO CHANGES”. But that is what most customer say – right?
Q: Have you seen this occur in the past in the logs?  If so how often do you see it?
A: Started on 26th Oct 2010. Since the problem started the router has been reloaded and the problem is still there. It is very intermittent and I have to do the debug when I get the problem.
Q: Have you tried to establish what is causing these: H323: Internal Error (H323 Interworking Error)  ?
A: Not sure how to troubleshoot this. The explanation of this message on CCO is not that great.

  • The Great JTree Refreshing Problem!

hi, i am using a Jtree to display information retrieved from an X.500 directory.
I am dealing with a great amount of information, and performance is the great issue in here. So, my problem is that, retrieving 3000 entries from the directory with JNDI takes 1 second, building and inserting the 3000 nodes takes 3 seconds, and in the end, the refresh of the jtree takes 7 seconds!!!!!
It's just to mutch time... i've tried dividing the 3000 entries in sets of 100 and insert this sets one at the time, so the JTree could refresh itself, this way, the user would see some action hapenning and it would be a lot more happy than he is now... The problem is that, the Jtree do not makes this refresh, only when a insert all, she starts to refresh and takes the infamous 7 seconds.
does this have anything to do with the low priority of the Swing threads that makes the refreshment...
    please... any help is welcome
    thanks in advance

use DefaultMutableTreeNode's insert/add methods to add
    the node.
    Steps:
    - make the root node.
    - insert the nodes in the root node,
    - set the root node as the root to the treemodel.
it may be useful to u.A little off the subject of the original question, but when I want to use the same JTree to display new information (instead of popping up a new frame with the new info), I also create a new root node, populate it, and then set the currently-displayed JTree's model's root to the new root node. However it never redraws with the new tree contents, even though I call invalidate() on the JTree.
What explicitly do you do to have it redraw with the new contents?
    Thanks!

  • Why do I have to reboot the iPad to receive FaceTime calls?

Why do I have to reboot the iPad to receive FaceTime calls?

Razmee, many thanks for your correct advice.  You are a STAR.  So nice now to be able to get the Internet all the time.  Great advice.

  • Hi! i just bought the iPad mini 3 today with a case that supports the automatic sleep/wake lid action but i could not find the setting for the sleep/wake lid action in my settings.

the cover i bought is from the brand called iPearl and it supports the auto sleep/wake lid action but i cant find the settings for it in my settings>general. now my iPad wont sleep when i close the lid. how do i find the option for this action in my settings on my ipad?

The setting should only appear with the cover installed. Try settings> general> IPad cover lock/unlock> on. Thanks go to Diavonex and Chris CA from this earlier thread.
The sleep/wake function would not show in general to turn it on. I have a Targus case but the function will not work. What's going on?

  • ROBO call blocker is blocking my wake up calls

I've had wake up calls for 3 years using my FIOS landline voice mail. I also  Implemented robocall blocker about a year ago.
Within the past week, the blocker is now stopping the wake up calls.
Verizon, how do I get around this?  I've added the voicemail number that calls with the wake up call to my accepted list,
    still no resolution.

    dezyndiva wrote:
that's part of the problem.  I don't recall now how I set it up.  However, It's illogical that I would have to turn it off
just to get wake up calls.  Why now is the blocker recognizing the wake up call as coming from a robodialer,
it never blocked it for the past year.
With FiOS digital voice, there is no native "ROBO call blocker" so you must be using something else.  If you're using something like nomorobo then it uses the simulatenous ring feature which can be disabled if nomorobo (or some other service like it) is blocking the call.  You check your simulataneous ring setup.

  • Wake up calls

I have a new landline number and for some reason there is a wake up call set for 5am. I have already called once and the agent could not find it on the account. i had just set up the voice mail. The agent said that should clear out any previous setting. I am still getting these wake up calls and I dont know how to take them off. There is no menu option to delete a wake up call. There is only options to set up wake up calls.. Please help...

There is nothing really built in these apps to do that easily, but there are plenty of 3rd party solution that integrate with CUCM for hospitality market. Novotek comes to mind.

  • What are the rules for when a Calling VI has be resaved after a subVI is changed?

We are planning on making changes to a driver set.  However, if one of our applications has VIs that have to be resaved because of these changes, then we will have to go through an extensive validation process for each application.  Therefore, it would be very helpful for us if we knew what changes can be made without the caller VIs needing to be resaved.  If a caller VI does need to be resaved, what about it's caller VIs?
For example, I know that adding or deleting a control would require the caller VIs to be resaved.  What other rules are there?  Sometimes it seems like I did nothing that would change the connector pane, yet the caller VIs have to be resaved (i.e., they get the asterisk).  Does anyone have a full list of when VIs need to be resaved when their subVIs are changed?
    Thanks,
    Tom

First of all, I should emphasize that I'm talking about not making any changes to the VI itself, only changes to the subVI that it's calling.  In doing experiments with one VI and one subVI, I get the same explanation each time in the Current Changes field:  "VI recompiled." and "SubVI call(s) modified.".  Both are pretty generic.
Since no one has so far responded with a list, here is the start of a list:
    1.  Adding or deleting controls and/or indicators.
    2.  Changing the label and/or description of a control or indicator.
    3.  Adding a for loop to the block diagram.
Those are the obvious ones.  There are others I could add to the list, but these don't seem to be very consistent.  For example:
    4.  Connecting or disconnecting wires to controls or indicators.
    5.  Wiring a control to a case statement (a specific example of #4).
In regards to #5, yesterday, in my experimental VI (I've enclosed them), I wired the numeric control to a case statement, then saved the subVI.  The calling VI then needed to be resaved.  I disconnected the numeric control and wired up the string control to the case statement.  Once I saved the subVI, the asterisk appeared on the calling VI.  This was very consistent.  Now, this morning, I do the same thing, but the calling VI doesn't need to be resaved.
So my question is, when does the calling VI decide it needs to be resaved?  Since I haven't made any changes to the connector pane, or to the controls and indicators, why does the calling VI need to be resaved?  Why should the calling VI care if a for loop is added to the subVI?
Since the driver I'm working on is called by 15 different drivers, which is called by 20 different application, all of which have been validated, I really don't want to have to revalidate all of these drivers and applications, simply because I went in and fixed a bug in a low-level driver.  So any information that helps me to understand what triggers a calling VI to recompile due to a change in a subVI would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!
    Tom

  • Wake Up Call to Extension

    Hey Guys,
Does anybody know of a free service that allows you to send wake up calls to an extension through specified phone number? It would really help me out a lot.
    Thanks!

You can use my script "alarm call". for CUCME and CME. It can be acquired on the website mentioned in my profile.

  • CUCM Wake-Up Call

I need a product or feature to schedule a call to an IP Phone for use as a Wake-Up call for hotel guests.
This can either be scheduled by the guest themselves or by reception.
IPCelerate sounds like it could offer this, but the price says no ($31k list).
Has anyone else come across anything similar?

Do you still have this?  I am new to CUCM and trying to figure out how to do this.  Visited your site, but  nothing seems to be free... Would you be able to provide a sample of how this is done or a setup guide on how to implement what you have created?  Thanks in advance

  • Is it possible to change a new one if the Iphone 5 wake button is not working?

I heard the iphone 5 wake up button has a disign defect. Will they give me a free repairing even my iphone is over warranty?

Heard from who?  Unless it was Apple, assume they are full of manure.
There are no design issues with the iPhone 5.
Warranty is one year from date of purchase, beyond that, hardware issues are handled via an Out of Warranty replacement which is $269US.

Could be a third party app preventing you from being able to login.
Mac App Store: Sign in sheet does not appear, or does not accept typed text
If it's not a third party issue, follow the instructions here.
Quit the MAS if it's open.
Open a Finder window. Select your Home folder in the Sidebar on the left then open the Library folder then the Caches folder.
Move the com.apple.appstore and the com.apple.storeagent files from the Caches folder to the Trash
From the same Library folder open the Preferences folder.
Move these files Preferences folder to the Trash: com.apple.appstore.plist and com.apple.storeagent.plist
Same Library folder open the Cookies folder. Move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
    Relaunch the MAS.
