The hardware detected is not supported by this IDT software package.

Hello,
I'm using HP Pavilion dm4-2180us Entertainment PC. Recently, we bought a new home theatre for our home. When I'm trying to connect it using HDMI cable, the output of it is only the video but not the audio. So when trying to install the audio drivers I'm getting it like this "The hardware detected is not supported by this IDT software package. The install will be aborted".
Im using windows 8.1 in my laptop. I wish this problem will be solved.
Also, when I connect the same laptop and HDMI to TV, I'm getting both the audio and video.
When I connect another HP laptop to my home theatre system, both the audio and video are transferring.
Thanks in advance,
Vikas

Hi,
Actualy audio in this case comes out from the video card, and it needs video driver. But before spend time for driver, please check the speaker icon on the right hand corner and enable HDMI sound.
Right click the spekaer > Click playback devices > Enable HDMI Sound.
If can't find HDMI sound, turn off laptop & TV then turn on TV first.
Regards.

  • The hardware detected is not supported by this idt software package. The install will be aborted.

I am working for an organisation which gave me laptop with disabled sound. When I asked my IT personel to enable the sound he downloaded the sound driver sp47808.exe
But when he tried to install the driver it said "The hardware detected is not supported by this idt software package. The install will be aborted."
Kindly provide the solution keeping in mind that the sound was disabled by the organisation only. So what things might have been removed or disabled which should be installed and enabled again.

Try to download the following two drivers and check if this helps resolve the issue:

  • Audio hardware detected is not supported

On one of our Win7 64bit 8440p laptops, the audio drivers seem to be installed, but Windows says "No audio hardware is detected". So, I downloaded both of the available IDT HD audio drivers (sp50589 and sp46721), but when I try to install either it says "Audio hardware detected is not supported". However, after it fails, Windows asks if it installed correctly, and if I want to try installing it with "Recommended settings". I tried that once, and the installation goes through successfully, but the audio still is not working.
When I go into Device Manager, the objects say "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)" when you go into the properties.  To verify it's the drivers and not the hardware, I then rebooted, hit F8, selected the option to ignore driver signing, and lo and behold, the audio works. But I can't ask the employee to hit F8 and select that option each time.
    Anyone have any ideas?

  • My iPad 5 will not charge, I get the message " CHARGING IS NOT SUPPORTED WITH THIS DEVICE

I get the message " CHARGING IS NOT SUPPORTED WITH THIS DEVICE. I've checked different cables and chargers ( from our other iPad 5, and cleaned the port, but it won't charge plugged into the computer or ghargers.

If charging will not work with valid cables and chargers and the Lightning port is clear, there is likely a hardware issue.  Take the iPad to an Apple store genius bar and have it tested by the techs.

  • The requested action is not supported for this object. [message 131-171]

    Hi,
One user is having the below error message appear when she attempts to print remittances. This has only started happening since yesterday and all other documents are still printing.
"The requested action is not supported for this object. [message 131-171]"
Any ideas what could be the problem?

    Hi Johnson,
I have not tried your suggestion till now as I am waiting for the database copy from my client.
Just a quick question, As I already mentioned earlier and I also keep getting the issues from the users reporting that the user's get this error only if they print 'remittance advise reports' has multiple invoices.
The report prints fine if it has single invoice even if it is a check payment.
Will your suggestions address this as well?

  • The App Store is not supported in this country

Hi, everyone I live in Hong Kong, and I bought my Ipad in US. When I click on the App Store. It said "The App Store is not supported in this country' How can I solve this problem? Thx for help =]

The Apps Store on your iPad will not work until the iPad is officially released in your country. However, you can buy most apps in your computers iTunes software/account. Type iPad in the apps tab search box, choose "show all" in the iPad tab and scroll through the list. You can also visit a site like appshopper.com and review the apps for iPad and choose the ones you would like. Return to iTunes and search for the names of the apps you want. Some of the "Apple" apps and third party apps(i.e. iBooks, ABC Player, etc.) will not be available until release in your country, however, you can download most.

  • Suddenly when trying to charge my iPhone i see the message 'charging is not supported with this accessory' - please help!

Iphone reads Charging is not supported with this accessory?! why has this suddenly appeared when attempting to charge?

Check your dock connector for crud or lint...it doesn't take much to create a short, thus producing that message. Use canned air & a soft toothbrush.

  • The battery installed is not supported by this system and will not charge. Lenovo X220i.

Hi All, I bought a re-furbished Lenovo X220i and decided to buy an extra genuine Lenovo battery which is brand new (New Old Stock maybe?) from a dealer. Battery Details: P/N OA36283 on the Box. P/N 42T4861 on the battery. According to the Lenovo documentation, this battery part number should be compatible to Lenovo X220i. However, when I insert the battery in, it comes up with a message that the battery is not supported by the system and will not charge. The battery comes up with zero (0%) charge.  I installed the latest driver I can find and still comes up the same. Can anybody shed some light on this please? Thanks.

    Hi
can you provide the photo of the labels on the battery surface (with quality the symbols legible)? Also, if OS is win7 and Lenovo Power Manager application is installed, it's very helpful to add information PM in the Advinced mode from the Battery tab.
There is a big chance the battery is faked.

  • The iTunes Store Is Not Supported In This Country

I am trying to access the iTunes store from my iPhone and I get the above message. I'm in Australia so I know full well that iTunes is supported here!
I am able to use and access the App Store perfectally fine and had no issues downloading apps from it.
I have recently had my iPhone and SIM card replaced, and this is the first time I have tried to access the iTunes Store from my iPhone since both replacements. But again, have accessed and used the App store fine.
iTunes on my desktop is set to Australia and working fine.
Are there settings on the iPhone to select your country or something that for whatever reason has changed to another country or can anyone help me?
    Thankies!

On your phone, make sure that you are signed in to the same itunes account that you use on your computer: Settings>Store>View Account. Once you've done that, sync your phone. Itunes account info is transferred during the sync process. See if this fixes the issue.

  • "you cannot open the application because its not supported on this type of mac" error

I've used this particular application since I bought my new iMac.  Its an app downloaded from the Internet.  I've tried to uninstall and download multiple times with no luck.  Apple Support advised me to clear out my caches.  I did.  No luck.  Apple Support had me create a "Test User" and the app worked.  How do I get the app to open with my normal username?

Then it just started acting up?  Did you change anything between then & when the app started acting up?
Trash the plist file, repair permissions and restart your computer.  Problem resolved?

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. I have recently purchased an ipod touch 4th Gen, 64Gb device and have used it without issue, including charging with a cable I purchased from K-mart which was better designed and more robust than the ones that come with the ipod. I used this cable for years with my 2nd Gen Ipod and my partners 3rd Gen Ipod (touch) without any problems either.
Then, one day it just started to happen, not with the older ipods, just my new one and only when using the computer. Charging it on my My friends computer with the same cable is fine and my wall charger is fine and the older ipods on my computer are fine when also charged on that same cable. I don't care what apple says, it's either a glitch in the programming or a move to stop people from using 3rd party hardware by chipping everything they have in sight to scrape up extra cash and then telling the devices not to perform task unless the chip is detected.

  • IPod Touch 4G "charging is not supported with this accessory"

My iPod Touch 4g has been getting the message "charging is not supported with this accessory" ever since iOS 5, and I just recently updated to iOS 6.
I currently use an Apple brand charging cord and a 3rd party charging cord, and none of them work.
I've been looking around in forums and there have been several temporary fixes that haven't worked for me, such as:
    - closed all apps
    - purchased a new cord
    - did a hard reset
    - updated USB drivers
    - updated iPod Touch driver
    - updated iTunes( just covering all bases here)
    - plugged my iPod in several other computers
    - tried putting it in airplane mode, then turning the iPod off, and then plugging it into the computer
    - and cleaning out the dock with compressed air as well as the USB ports on my computer
Does anyone with a permanent solution? Because this is starting to get very irritating...

    Not Charge
    - See:
    iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting
iPhone and iPod touch: Charging the battery
    - Try another cable.
    - Try another charging source
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • HT1476 Charging is not supported by this accessory?

I'm really frustrated because I have tried every possibly way to fix my iPod Touch fourth generation. There are two things wrong with it and I have already purchased things to fix them- a home button and a new charger. I am not sure this new charger will work because my sister just got an iPod with a new charger. I tried that on my iPod and it did not work. It shows the bolt with the red connector thing (iPod is off) but it does not turn on after being connected for 20 minutes.
I don't know what to do. I've already spent over $50 to buy things to repair it, so I don't want to spend more money on Apple. I don't have any protection plan for it. I've only had it since April 2011. Anyone know a fix I'm not trying? Thanks!
P.S.: It turned on once, but displayed the message "charging is not supported by this accessory." I have used four of our different USB cables with no luck. When I plugged my iPod in when it was on, iTunes came up but it did not sync or charge. Please help!!!
I have the most recent version and I do not think restoring will fix it...

    - Try restoring the iPod, first from backup and then try to factory settings/new iPod to rule out a software problem.
    - Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, foreign material and broken or cracked plastic.
    - Could you have damaged something when you took the iPod apart and replaced the Home button?

  • Sudden issue: Charging is not supported with this accessory

    Hello -
I've had a 32GB 3rd generation iPod Touch since right around the new year. It's worked nearly perfect since January until today, when I plugged it into my PC to charge. I got the error "Charging is not supported with this accessory".
This seems odd to me since it's charged just fine on this machine for the last five months. I tried using two different cords, tested it on my wife's Mac and a dock we have in the kitchen, which in both instances it worked just fine. I tested my wife's 2nd generation iPod touch on my computer and it worked just fine. It's just MY iPod that isn't charging at my computer all of a sudden. I can access it via iTunes, it just won't charge.
I also tried blowing out the connector pins with some compressed air. I have a USB hub which I usually plug this into and I tried it both plugging directly into my USB port AND the hub and neither worked. I also had two USB cords, both from Apple (one of which had never been used before) and it still won't charge at my computer.
The only thing I can think of is I recently updated my iTunes, but I don't know why that software would affect whether or not the iPod charges.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!
    Jer

No, I appreciate your asking but we only have two iPod's, both are touches, and I had been using the same cord for both with no problem for the last five months. I did try both cords I had though to no avail. I wish it were that simple!
So many people have commented about this particular error but it seems like very few people have had it actually happen suddenly after months of use with no problem. So frustrating.
Luckily I can still charge it with the same cord on my wife's computer with no problem or the dock we have in the kitchen. I just want to know why it has suddenly decided to stop charging on my computer.
    Thanks!
